Misspriss: I feel that the little plateau was my fault and not my body reaction to a routine. Last week I was unable to move as always because of back problems. In addition, I cut healthy food in order to let some not so healthy food to fit my calorie range. I learnt that it is a NO NO. I have increased my veggies and fruit intake and I started to lose weight again. Anyway, my TOM is around the corner and on the previous and TOM weeks I lose a lot of less.
ShylahEQ: :congrat: because you did it great in Chicago. Farn: your body does not hate you but it is confused by all the stress from last weeks of college! KDM: I’m so sorry for Nashville situation. I visited it a few years ago and it is a beautiful city, with amazing people!!! I do not understand my body because from being stuck at 167.4 for more than a week, now I’m at 166. I hope to stay loosing and I wish to be at 165 by the weekend. Sw: 167.4 Cw: 166.0 Gw1: 165 (1 to go) Gw2: 160 (6 to go) WL: 1.4 |

Week is going good so far, 3 hours of intense excercise, burned 500+ cal each time, eating in range and getting the water in. Hopefully Thursday will bring a great number!
Susieyarb - 4.5" is great, good for you! |
I'm checking in for the morning. I did my 30 Day Shred before work. I have had a liter of water so far. Yesterday I finished the day at a little over 3 liters. Been eating on plan. I figure if I get in all the water it will help my body decrease. I packed my food for the day but I feel like I'm missing something. I will find out at the end of the day what's missing. I've been trying to wait until Saturday to try on my TSPs and it's hard. It's better if I wait and see the progress. I have been staying out of the closet until it's time to dress for work. I expect to see some progress this weekend. I will be going to the gym at lunch.
Fit-What kind of workout are you doing that you burn 500 cals? I need that in my life. Lori - It sounds like you are really enjoying your flowers and plants. Have fun girl!! Aluxa - I know you are probably frustrated with your body but I'm glad you posted it because it helps me keep my focus and get discouraged when it seems like I'm not moving.!!:thanks: Susie - How's the baby. I love what he said. I feel so encouraged...LOL!! I know you are measuring by the scale mostly but I love to see those inches fall off because it says my clothing size will be shrinking!! KDM - I'm coming to join you in those 4-5 liters one day!! I saw some pictures from Nashville and it looks like you all were hit harder than we were. I did pray for the people that suffered loss. How are you??? Farn - Girl I'm motivating myself when I try to motivate you all because some days are not as easy as other. You all have been the difference between me quitting and I so appreciate it. Shyla - I figure when you have a weekend like you did, just hop back on plan and the damage will be minimal. Hope you enjoyed it all!! :cheer2::cheer3::cheer2::cheer3: Let's make today a great day. Stick to your plans no matter what comes your way. Your body will appreciate it!! We can do this!! Oh yea...no matter what happened before now, have fun today it's a new one. :D:D:D |
~jiggle way to go on your workout before work & the water!!
Yep ~i am totally enjoying my flowers~Today is so suppose to be nice too~can't wait~I thik y breahting probs have me appreciate these nicer days & my flowers more & more each day.~HUGS~off to venture |
Susie - 4.5 inches off of your body is FAB. I am jealous :)
Jiggle - step away from the TSP! Hold out until the weekend, the results will be worth it KDM - I hope there is some relief happening in your area. I couldn't imagine all that water. :( Lori - have a great day enjoying the weather Today I got back on the treadmill this morning and it felt great. I am starting to try the C25K program. First week is 5 min brisk walk, then alternate 60 seconds jogging with 90 seconds walking for 20 minutes. I couldn't do the entire 60 seconds of jogging, only 45 seconds. AND I only was able to do that like 5 times, so a total of 2 minutes 25 seconds. After the 20 minutes I kept on walking and hit the 2 mile mark in under 40 minutes. I jogged when I could. I'm looking forward to being able to handle the entire 60 seconds for the whole 20 minutes. |
Hey everyone, sorry I've been gone the past few weeks. It have been VERY busy at work. We have quite a few sick animals at work that need tons of extra attention, plus we now have 3 Mississippi Sandhill Crane Chicks that also need near constant attention. I'm off today and tomorrow, so I'm just going to relax and hope that next week calms down a bit.
Well, I hardly lost anything last challenge but I have a new motivation for this challenge. I bought my tickets for my 5 year high school reunion the other day (which is June 12). Now that I actually got the tickets, I've been trying a lot harder to stay on plan. My goal for this challenge is to lost 8 lbs by Memorial Day. So... SW: 177.2 CW: 176.2 GW: 169.2 |
Hello Everyone!!
I had lunch with my mom yesterday. I think I did pretty good. I ate a light breakfast (150 cals). Then at lunch I only ate half and brought the other half home for dinner. Unfortunately Im up a lb on the scale today. But TOM is around the corner so Im hoping thats all it is. I must have changed outfits 10 times when I was getting ready for lunch yesterday. I felt HUGE in everything. I havent heard from DH in 2 days and Im starting to worry. I cant seem to keep myself occupied today, Ive cleaned the kitchen, took the dogs for a walk, fed the horses, and done laundry, and its only 11:00am. Hopefully I will hear from him soon. Lori I wish I had a green thumb like you. I always buy tons of plants in the spring and summer, but I cant seem to keep them going lol. I dont know if I over water or under water or what. My mom has a green thumb and I usually end up taking my plants to her so she can revive them lol. Jiggle Ive been curious and meaning to ask you. What are the TSPs? Are they just a pair that you bought for goal? I hope everyone has an Excellent OP day!!!! |
Aluxa--YOU GO GIRL!! You're almost to GW1...thats awesome!!!
Fitin10--what are you doing to burn 500+ cal per session? are these hr long sessions?? that's freakin awesome!! you're gonna kick butt tomorrow for WI! Jiggle--as for the flood near my house, I'm good to go! luckily, we don't have any rivers or creeks in our direct neighborhood...but just like 2 miles down the main road, the water is halfway up the house windows! it's horrible! and it doesn't look like it's going down soon...AND i think we're supposed to get more rain by the weekend! it sucks! 10victims claimed so far in Davidson county (Nashville)...i'm sure we'll find more as the water goes down :( shylah--don't worry about not being able to jog the entire 60 sec...C25K works if you stick with it...i never thought I'd be able to do it, but by the end, I did it...are you doing it outdoors or on a TM? I did mine on the TM so I could control how fast I was jogging...maybe you could slow down a bit and be able to go longer???? good luck!!! zoo--I know what you mean about HS reunions...My 10yr is in August and it has been a BIG motivation for me since I started in Sept...I don't wanna be the fat one anymore! lol I'm thinkin i'm probably 10-20lb lighter than when I was in HS, but honestly I don't know for sure bc I dont know what I weighed then??? SOOO, GOOD LUCK STAYING OP! YOU CAN DO IT!!! sorry to hear about all the sick animals!! well, I got more water in yesterday, but I didn't weigh today...think I'm just gonna wait til Monday for my official WI and HOPEFULLY TOM will have arrived by then! I'm going to do my 10th WO for Level 1 of 30DS today before work and then I'm gonna rest tomorrow and start Level 2 on Friday...I think I'll measure on Friday before I start Level 2...MAYBE if I'm not TOO sore tomorrow, then I'll go ahead and start L2, but I'm a little sore today so I'll probably just aggrevate the already sore muscles! haha we shall see!!! Hope everyone's having a great week!!!! |
I'm using a TM. Sadly, it was very slow lol I haven't actually ran since high school... and that was a long time ago.
I could barely make it 40 minutes walking when I started. It will happen. I have the patience. I feel good too! I can't wait to get 30DS and start that. |
Jiggle: :congrat: for starting the 30DS!!! I will to start swimming next week because we are going to open the pool soon. I think that I’m not frustrated but a little afraid because I know that my progress will slow down and I will need to make changes, and I’m not sure about how I will deal with them. It will be very selfish to feel frustrated because I lost 32.6 pounds in 2 months and a half and for me that it is much more than what I was expecting to lose in that period of time.
Lori: I’m so happy for you being able to enjoy the nice weather again!!! SugarRox: Your plants problem makes me remember my mom. When her plants were dying, she sent them to my grandpa. I have her luck with plants, but I have a pothos that have survived living with me for almost 10 years. However, now I’m trying to save it because my husband took the plant out and it is an interior plant. At night it was burned by the cold and at day it was damaged by the direct sun. Now, it is back to its original spot and it is recovering. I’m sure that it will take a year to see it big and healthy as before but it a plant easy to care if you kept it inside. I just get an Allusion plant (I’m not sure which type) and it is looking great so far. KDM: :thanks: I wanted to be at 165 last week LOL but I’m closer now!!! :goodluck: with your TOM! I’m trying to figure out how much it affects or not my weight. ShylahEQ: A slow TM can be useful when reading!!! :goodluck: with your 30ds. I’m starting to consider having it. |
Aluxa you are so close to your next mini goal. How exciting!!
|
Shylah: you're doing better than me. I started out in January trying to do C25k and it killed me. I told myself I'd try again once I got under 200. It killed my knees. Well, I'm under 200, so I need to quit being a wimp, huh? I also said I'd try jumping rope and do the 30DS after I got under 200. I DID try jumping rope today for the first time since January! I did 3 sets of 20 and woooooweeee, my heart was pounding! I'm going to get 30DS this weekend, I promise! I need to figure out how to download C25k. I'm so techno dumb! I just have a little mp3 player, and haven't been able to figure it out. It all says for Ipod. Sorry to ramble.
Zoochick: My daughter wants to be a zookeeper when she grows up! Either that or a marine biologist. We're only about 4 hours from NO, maybe we could come see you some day! I'm glad to see you back in the challenge. Hope to hear lots from you. SugarRox: I hope you hear from your DH soon. Are you in central Texas? I'm in East Texas. Sounds like you did well staying OP even though you went out with your mom! Jiggle: I agree with you completely about 3FC and these challenge buddies especially keeping me from quitting! I've been low the last two days and feeling like nothing is happening anymore. I'm finding that the end of my TOM is the worst for me. I get bluesy and headachey at the end and just want to eat cheesy, bready, CINCO DEMAYO goodies!! Speaking of our babies - I'm thinking what a difference I'm going to see in the pictures of his second birthday than I did of his first birthday! I looked horrible!! Another thing is that our babies aren't going to remember us fat! They'll look back at those old pictures and say, "who is that holding me?" While it may be a little sad, I'll be so glad to not be "her" anymore, ya know?! Lori: Please show a picture of your new Siberian Irises when they bloom. I love anything Russian because my precious little flower is a Russian Princess (my daughter!). She's not from the Siberian region, but still - they're Russian LOL. Krista: You are soooo stinkin' close to those 60's I think I may be more excited than you are to see you make it!! You're motivating me to get my bootie in gear and go get 30DS at WalMart. Aluxa! You're about to your Goal 1! That is amazing! Farn: I agree with Aluxa, I'll bet school stress is keeping you from losing. It'll whoosh off soon! You've been doing great - keep it up, don't quit! Fit: I'm with everyone else wanting to know what workout you did to burn 500 cals! I want that! I did a weigh in this morning on the WiiFit and was FINALLY down 1.6 pounds so I got to move my ticker to 195!! I'm ready to say adios and hasta la vista baby to these 90's and see my 80's. Just two more pounds and my pounds left to goal will only be in the teens!!! Of course I may be re-thinking my goal when I get closer. The 174 is what I weighed when I got married May 13, 1995. I'm thinking I may like to go about 10 pounds lower. I'd wear an 8 at that size, Jiggle!! A single digit! Plus, I'm only 4 pounds away from 50 pounds lost! Ok, I've got to go workout while the baby is asleep, then try and eat some lunch. |
:carrot::carrot::carrot::carrot::carrot: Hey Ya'll!!
I'm getting behind in my water. I'm still trying to get that second liter in but before my head hits that pillow tonight I will have had 3 liters!!! I'm going to workout after I get off work. I just hope it's not too hot because yesterday that place was an OVEN. I'm really sensitive to fragrances and the smells in that place were terrible. I could only do my 20 minutes on the treadmill. Susie - I was starting to wonder where you were. It seems like when I have that thought you post. How cool is that? Anywhoo, Go get the 30DS and you will really enjoy it. It's going to be lots of fun even on the first day when you just want to lay in the floor midway through the workout. The good is it's only a 20 minute workout. So by the time you think you can't possibly take anymore...it's over!! I did think about what my daughter would say to me when she is looking at those "before" pictures!!! She will try to do the 30DS with me but the moves are a little complex so she just jumps around and wait for the crunches she almost has those so she can do them alone. That's how she passes the potty time...doing something like a crunch!! It's Hilarious...:exercise::exercise:!! Aluxa - I started 30DS a while ago. Then I started alternating it with my gym workout. Now I am challenging myself to do it everyday for 30 days...no rest day. I started the first day of this challenge but missed a day so I had to start over. I will get 30 days in. You're doing so well and adding swimming should propel you towards a bigger loss. Shylah - Keep working at it. It will increase as you go. I used to tell myself I can do 15 more seconds. If you get too tired or winded just slow down. I never thought I would be able to do any incline walking and I can now. So keep moving. I'm so trying to stay away from the TSPs because if they fit on Saturday Morning when I measure and try them on I can wear them to girls night to celebrate. I so want to pimp those jeans!!! KDM - Glad to hear you weren't affected. You can do it. Level 2 ain't no joke. I have to alternate it with level 1. My back isn't ready for all that just yet. I'm sure by the end of the 30 days of level 1 I will be able to do 30 days of level 2. Sugar - My TSPs...Well, in the last challenge we started the Sisterhood of the Traveling Shrinking Pants. Susie sent them to me and when I they fit me and get loose then I will send them to someone else. They are a pair of Old Navy size 16 Jeans. I love it because I'm uber motivated to get them to a place I can comfortably get in them. I can fit them but the muffin top is more than I care to see. If the 30DS pays off I will be able to wear them on girls night out this weekend. I just need to make sure the muffin isn't a full cake. They make my legs and thighs look so small. (Oh I'm rambling cause those jeans get me excited)!! In light of the conversation of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Shrinking Pants...Who's next. Is there anyone in this challenge that thinks that they will be in an 18 mid June and want to be next to receive the pants. I say mid June because I want to wear them a little while to show off before I relinquish them. They are so cute but you have to be short because these are only for the short and sexy!! It's so exciting to get them in the mail. It's like receiving a care package in the mail from your mom when you are away at college. Or could it just be me. |
Jiggle: On the TSP's, I was thinking that even if someone is taller, they could cuff them and turn them into capri's, what do you think? That's still in style, isn't it?
|
Susie - I guess that could work. I didn't think about that.
TSP UPDATE: Who's Next? Everyone is eligible!!! |
Not me, I'm working my way into size 18 still.
I hope we get pics of you rockin' those pants Jiggle!! |
If I’m close to my first goal for this challenge that is because of all of you. I have wanted to lose weight for years but I did not start to do it in the right way until I find this community on February 18. I started my new lifestyle on the 19. My efforts without your support may have result in nothing. So you should feel responsible for my weight loss. :thanks:
|
Hey Chics, quick check in for me. Today i did an awesome workout with step aerobics, upper and lower body weights for almost 80minutes. I just felt the need to kick a little but. The dvd i did was by Cathe friedrich called BM2 Anyone heard of her? She's awesome, and im not trying to sell anything,LOL. I have been sweating to her dvd's for almost 5yrs now:) I wore my Heart rate monitor and burned a total of 501 calories! Man i was sweating buckets:dizzy:
anyhoot, nothing has changed on the scale, still holding onto water, blah, blah, blah Aluxa-I wished i could get into the 160's like you, all your hard work is paying off. WTG on your accomplishments! Maybe i will be joining you in the 160's(you will probably be in the 150's by then) by the end of this challenge!:) Hello to EVERYONE OUT THERE IN CYBER LAND! Hugs and i will bb tomorrow:hug: |
Hello Chicks, I have been so busy getting my patio ready for summer that I had no time to post. I was down to 106 a couple of days ago, my husband had off Sunday and Monday and I binged on both days. Gained 5 lbs! I haven't weighed this much since last July. I feel so bloated with water that I can hardly get through my walks every morning. I got right back on plan yesterday, but still no change in my weight. I'm starting to get worried that I won't be able to lose it again. Two days of binging in a row really did me in! I vowed to never do it again!
|
sorry.. newbie here. What is the deal with the TSP's? is this a pair of pants ya'll have mailed to each other and passed along? If so that is SO freaking awesome! I love it!
Lori- I love all your talk about your garden. I keep saying I want to plant a couple flowers but I have no idea how to start. lol... and don't think i would be good at keeping them alive, everytime I've tried its been unsuccessful  So many of you are talking about the 30DS is it really good? I'm moving into my own apt next month (currently share a place with my sis) and was thinking about getting some work out dvd's. don't feel comfortable doing them with her around. So I am open to suggestions. Had a good week so far, storms weren't too bad here. Just tons of rain tuesday, been on track with my eatting so far, and have worked out every day. bring on the second half of the week. |
Well I ended up eating more calories today than I originally planned to, so I'm gonna try to do a workout tomorrow morning. I usually don't workout when I'm off of work since I do so much physical activity at work.
Susie That's awesome that she wants to be a zookeeper. It's a very fun, rewarding job. I don't work at the zoo though, I work for another Audubon facility called Audubon's Center for Research of Endangered Species. It's closed to the public. But ya'll definitely should go visit the zoo, I love spending the day there! |
Hi all! I'm a newbie:wave: and I would like to join in this challenge. :cheer3:
I have two challenges for myself. 1) No fastfood! From now through May 31st.:club: 2) Lose 8 lbs by May 31st:ebike: Both of these are lofty goals for me I am ready to challenge myself! |
:wave:Had lots to catch up on here. :)
Not being able to workout is practically killing me. I have been able to keep OP for the most part. Keeping motivated right now is important. Im hanging in there:carrot: Have a fabulous evening everybody! |
OMG~ I am way behind on posting Looks like & I am in a huge hurry tonight.
To answer some questions as for the siberian iris ~it was just a start so may not bloom til next season but when it does I will post pics promptly!! Or if it it does this year I will~They are very dainty & pretty when in bloom. As for those that wanna garden but have back thumb~go to the place you wanna buy flowers at~write a list of the types your interested in before purchasing them.....Then go home & google them to see if they would work where u wanna plant them~also study how much water/sun/shade/ect. they need.~Remember a perrenial(I say the "p" is for permanent) this Is the Ones that should come back the next year if it works in your zone~google your zone too to make sure. ~Annuals are just for the season & do not come back unless they are a re-seeder also u can find out buy google.~my parents was into flowers all my life & I could have cared less ~didn't know swat about them & as soon I bought my own home i got into them~just took a little studying Kinda like learning to count calories does~i even kept a notebook at first to write down how to care for everything as I bought it. www.davesgarden.com has some great ideas on there~I am not amember but I google there name with any plant I am interested in & it comes up!!LOL Anyone I missed ~i adore ya all~HUGS TO ALL~ I am worn out~Did get a new weight today ~156.4 got to switch my ticker again finally!that outdoors is working!:D (Not checking for errors so ignore my typing /spelling errors please!!) |
Welcome SixSarah. This group is very encouraging! Just check in regularly and let us know how you're doing!
|
Yay Lori! Good for you getting a new lower weight! You're so close to your final goal!
|
Good Evening Everyone!!!
I didnt do so good today. I still havent heard from DH and all I want to do is sit here and wait for him to call. So, I didnt exercise today, and in my pitty party I decided to go over to moms because I was in such an awful mood, and they asked me to stay for dinner. Of course my dad had to pick up fired chicken on his way home. I only had a wing and a few fries, I drank water. I really wish DH would call soon, the waiting is consuming me. I know that he has to be ok because Im pretty sure if something had happened I would have gotten a visitor at the door by now. I think that the fact that DH is coming home in a couple of weeks is making me more anxious and making not hearing from him harder. Aluxa your doing awesome! Keep uo the good work. If you dont mind me asking how many calories are you eating per day? and what kind of exercise are you doing? Susie Im in South Texas. Outside San Antonio. Jiggle I LOVE the idea behind the pants. It DOES sound really motivating. I wear a size 10 though, Im trying to work back into my 8's. My 10's have been feeling a little snug though. Good Night Everyone! I hope everyone has a good day tomorrow! |
Just popping in to get some encouragement:D
sugarrox: I hope you hear from your DH soon. That would be absolutely agonizing.:( All of this garden talk makes me want to go out and work on my yard. Even though I told my DH that I was done doing any kind of yard work after sunday;) |
500 Cal + workout For those interested I am on a 6-7 hours (over 5 days) a week of intense training workout schedule. I'm trying to maintain/build muscle mass while dropping weight (based on a hydrostatic body fat test) so I am doing 3 hours of intense weight lifting with a trainer a week. Then I do two 1 hour spin classes a week, 1 hour step/kickboxing class and 1 hour doing high intensity interval training on the eliptical. For all my workouts I wear a heart rate monitor and keep the heart rate around 70-80% maximum HR.If you want more details let me know.
Question for the group, how are you figuring out how many calories to eat? I've read anywhere from 1200 - 1800 for my info, its a little confusing. I was doing 1400 a day, and for the last week or so I've uped it to 1600, but am doing a zig-zag cycle, which seems to be working a little better. Just curious how everyone decides. |
Yes, I've been ALL ABOUT 30DS these last 12 days or so bc I'M IN LOVE! haha never thought I'd say that about a WO, but it's soo good...it's only 20min, but I'm soaked in sweat and feel it just enough :) SUSIE you shoul definitely check it out!! Jiggle was the whole reason I decided to check it out!!! BeachLover you could definitely do this workout in your bedroom...I do it on our computer room...the most room you would need would be for jumping jacks...well I guess, I don't know anything about Levels 2 & 3, but I can't imagine you would need much more room for those either!!!
Sugar--Praying for a call from DH soon for you!!! Fitin10--sounds like you are at the gym ALOT! GO YOU!!! how do you find that much time in the day?!?!?! I've been thinking about getting a HRM...what type do you have?? WELCOME to the NeWbIeS!!! I ate on the high end of my 12-1500 cal range today, but it's all good! I was really hoping to stay on the low end the first half of the month since I'm going home May 13-16 and will probably eat off-plan...OH WELL! Tomorrow's a new day!!! |

Beachlover - yes the TSPs are pants that are moving around the country for motivation and I love it. Susie started it last challenge and sent them to me. I'm working on getting in them comfortably. The last time I tried them on there was too much muffin top for my taste but hopefully this weekend they work better so I can wear them out.
Misspriss - Hey, how are things going? I think your workout sounds wonderful. They were offering a step class here where I work but it was at lunch time and I couldn't join them because it was too long. I'm going to see if I can get permission to take the Zumba class they are going to start next month at lunch. I'm excited about that. Sixsarah - :welcome3: The challenges are been great me because it keeps you accountable. Hang in there and you will get to your goal. KDM - I knew you would love the workout. I'm having so much fun with it. Level 2 will require a little more room but not much. I haven't even peeped at level 3 because I know it's hard!! I am still on track with my 30 days of 30DS. I want to see some real results this week. Sugar - I really hope you hear from your DH soon. I've prayed that he calls because I know that can be hard. Much love to your girl!!:hug: Fit - That sounds good, I'm gonna be like you when I get little!! Where can I get one of those heart rate monitor things? It may help me push myself more. You are doing the dog gone thang!!:ebike::boxing::exercise::strong: Well for me, yesterday I drank 3 liters of water. My hubby put the baby to bed because I was sleep by 8:30. I got my workout in which is probably why I was so sleepy. My goal for the next couple of days is to be on the low end of my 1200-1400 calorie range. Let's hit it hard today. We are almost done with week one and we wanna stay motivated all the way to the end to get as close to our goals as possible if not exceed them!!! :running::running: |
I got on the treadmill today. Really didn't want to, I was having a pity party. I'm glad I got it done though. Ended up watching Ruby during it, so it pushed me to do the entire 45 minutes.
|
Good morning everyone! I'm down 0.6 from yesterday, which is awesome because this is the first time in a while that I've had a loss multiple days in a row :) I had been having trouble finding what works since I started my new job in January (which is a zookeeper, so lots more physical activity on a regular basis than what I was previously doing). I think I've finally found what works though..now I just have to keep up with it. Hope everyone has a great day!
|
hello everyone!!
this just a really really short messasge from me today! I have to get studying on a fnal that I have! i did not study yesterday or earlier this morning because I was a nervous wreck about my mom. They found a lump in her left breast and so she had to go in for another mamm and ultrasound because breast cancer is definitely in our family. So i've been a nervous wreck this past week. I couldn't manage to study for my exam today because I couldn't focus. so i'm not really sure how I will do on this exam...but good news!! I went with my mom today and she is all clear!!! Just got back a little bit ago, so now I am happy and can breathe again...I guess if I don't do so hot on this exam and get a mediocre grade in the class it will be upsetting but not that upsetting, i'd rather have a bad grade in a class than my mom have breast cancer. other good news I had a big whoosh this morning and dropped 4 pounds of that darn water weight that has been holding on for so long!! :) whoo so now i am off to study for this final i have at 2:30, if I can sneak by a decent grade on this exam thsi will be a VERY good day!! bye! |
Good Afternoon Ladies!!
I finally heard from DH, he sent an email around midnight last night. Apparently he had been in the hospital for dehydration. Thats the second time in a couple of weeks. Its SO hot there. They have cases and cases of water but they sit out in the sun and he says that the heat does something to the bottles, like breaks down the plastic and makes the water foggy and taste funny. He said in a whole case of water maybe only 2 or 3 bottles are drinkable. I just cant wait till he gets out of there. Thank you, to everyone that has kept us in your thoughts/prayers. Farn Good luck on your exams. Im sure you will do GREAT. Im also glad you got good news back about your mom. |
Farn - Yay for good news about your mom and the whoosh! what a morning.
Sugar - I'm so glad you heard from your DH. He better get home soon! |
Misspriss: I will love to be at 150s by next month. My dream is to be at 155 by middle June, but I do not think that it will be possible, but I need to try! I’m sure that you will join us at the 160s thread sooner that what you think :goodluck:
Sixsarah81: :welcome: Lori: I will post a picture of my patio for you. I go to a flower farm near my home and I ask them. :congrat: for your weight SugarRox: It is nice to know that you was able to heard from your husband  About my plan: I eat between 1200- 1600 calories a day. I’m lazy so I walk 3 miles per day on the treadmill (with a maximum incline of 7), but I started walking only 1.5 miles. I do not exercise on Sunday. I have months trying to add some strength training but like a said before I’m lazy. Anyway, last week I learned that to look the kind of food that we eat is more important that calories because last week I was eating on plan but I did not lose because I have reduced my veggies and I have eaten empty calories. ShylahEQ: I hate my treadmill but I have had good result using it so I keep going. Zoochick: :congrat: Farn:  I know how difficult your situation was. :goodluck with your class and :congrat: for that 4 pounds!!! http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...8_843394_n.jpg |
