Morning,

I'm proud of myself today, I stayed on plan yesterday. Today will be another good day i can feel it. I lost 3lbs of water weight too, so today's weight is 177.8:D

My 2nd interview is in 3hrs, ARG. I really, really hope i get this job. Im so excited.. Wish me luck!!!

bbl i also plan on getting in some kind of workout today.

Lori- You are still such an inspiration, In the middle of all that crap you are having to deal with, you are still doing a WONDERFUL job! I'm hoping things will get better and keeping you and the family in my prayers.:hug:

I weighed in this morning, since I wont be around this weekend. only .5 lost. which puts me at 201.5 I'm thinking since I'm sore I am retaining a little water. Didn't do the 30DS last night I did the no more trouble zones one. Or should I say attempted! :D That thing kicked my butt. I need to get lighter weights as I only have 10lbs ones right now. Plus I cheated and looked yesterday morning and it said 200, so hopefully this will keep me motivated over the weekend. I KNOW there will be drinking involved but i will make the best choices I can!

On a NSV...First I should say Ive gained most of the weight in the last 2 years or so, for the past year almost none of my clothes fit, and even before they were much to tight. SO ANYWAY last night I was trying to get my stuff together. And I decided to be brave and try on some stuff that hasn't fit in years. Almost all of it fit! except for 1 skirt, and the last time i remember wearing that was over 4 years ago, and I still got it on and buttoned but too much muffin top! I couldn't believe it! I have my wardrob back! I went out to ask my sis boyfriend if an outfit was cute, and he was like "where'd those come from? did you go shopping?" I was like no these are all really old just haven't fit! HAHA he was like I've never seen any of those! and went on to tell me how good I look and how proud he is! It was really nice!

Sorry so long ladies. I had to tell someone! and you guys are all the best! Hope everyone has a FANTABULOUS weekend!!!!

Those of you snacking at night: I was fighting that same urge earlier this week. Been fully OP the rest of the week though. Not exercising quite as much ad I'd like, but been getting a good 30 mins in everyday at least. Overall, not too bad of a week after essentially taking a week "off" last week.

DH and I have the day off today. Preparing for our 5.5 hour drive this afternoon to attend his grandma's funeral tomorrow :(. I will be so glad when thing get back to "normal" and am not traveling every week to go to a funeral!

Anyway...sorry to be such a downer! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

Hi how is everybody dong today? I have not been posting because I was in a similar situation to KDM. However, I was reading your post. TOM did not show until yesterday (10 days late) but the delay was caused by the stress that my future trip to Argentina is causing. I do not want to go but I have to. I have not seen my family for 9 years. They have traveled around the world but they never in 9years visited me. Now, I’m going there and I know that they are going to complain about everything (specially my weight). I will try to enjoy what I can and block what I cannot enjoy. I do not know how I will to survive 10 hours in a plane.

Miss Priss, I've been wondering how your interview went! One thing I've been snacking on at night is strawberries. They're so beautiful right now and inexpensive and they fill you up w/very little calories. I dip them in the FF Redi-Whip and feel like I'm splurging. So maybe if you just have to have a night time snack pre-plan something that fits into your calorie budget and enjoy it. You can eat like 7 big ol' strawberries for less than 50 calories.

Beach: I can't imagine using 10 pound weights! I'm a big wimp with my little 3 pounders LOL! You are SO going to be in Onederland!!

Fruit: I'm glad you lost your buffet weight LOL. You need to pre-plan a non-food related celebration for reaching your 105!

Ok, here's the scoop on me. Guess what I did today?? I got the 30 Day Shred and did the first day of it! It was hard, but not as hard as I was expecting. I made it through and I thought I'd be dying too hard to make it through. Don't get me wrong, I was near dying! I followed the easier lady on a few things (push-ups and butt kicks) I can't do push ups well at all.

I've been having a hard time staying OP the last couple day. I HAVE stayed OP, but I didn't want to! I have been ready to give up.

Am I the only one who after the initial joy of a big loss or big milestone is ready to just stop? When I hit that 188 it's like something clicked in me to make me want to give up? Isn't that nuts! But that's why in the past I HAVE given up and then put it all back on! I've NEVER lost this much before. 6 years ago I lost from 236 to 209 and then I just quit and regained it all plus 5 more pounds.

I know I'm in a funk and need to work through it. That's one reason I got my bootie to WalMart and bought the 30DS. Ok, y'all who are doing 30ds who still have some tummy on them - do your tummy and boobs jiggling bug you?! I can't stand the jiggling during the jumping jacks, jump ropes and butt kicks. Am I alone in this?

Omg best news ever, I totally KICKED BUTT ON MY FINAL!!!!! Whoo!!!!! I studied sooooo much yesterday and it paid off im so happy!! Now I can really enjoy my summer and that trip to Chicago coming up soon!!
Oh and I'm down another pound too! :) that's 5 pounds, 10 more for goal! I'm gonna do it!!!!!!!

susieyarb: thank you lady!! :) you are too sweet!! congrats on the 30day shread!! i seriously want to get that so bad, i've just never made time to go out and get it. congrats on your 50 too!!! i know what you mean about making a goal and then going into a slump. that happened to me after mexico. i worked my butt off the few months before mexico and then when i got back i just didn't have the motivation to keep going. i wanted too but just kind of kept cheating every day until i put on another ten pounds! it's like you want to celebrate your victory and then end up doing it by treating yourself and that turns out bad...haha for me anyways

well i'm off to work until 9:30 and then home to exercise! School's out for the summer!!!!!!!

For my mom nothing is worse than an overweight person, but the worse part is that I will be there for the first time in almost 9 years and I will really feel the empty space of loved ones that are not anymore with us. Hey guys...just a quick check in

So, The Interview(s) lasted 2 & 1/2 hours, then i took a typing test, then i took a assessment test then I was told they had to talk to the medical director(who was one of the interviews i had) and i would know something by Monday...OMG:dizzy: I'm going to beat my head up against the wall if they don't tell me something here soon.:( I have NEVER had so many interviews/test in my life!!!! Im not interviewing for president here? WTH?

Sigh, another weekend of uncertainly. Now I'm going over everything i said in my mind. Good grief...i don't like all this pressure:mad:

But on a happy note, Im baking some brownies for my kids and i could care less about eating any...i feel like im in control again:)

:carrot::carrot: It's time to go home!!! I got my workout in for today and I plan to relax tonight. Probably won't be on much this weekend because we will be celebrating my daughter's 2nd birthday. She takes pictures tomorrow morning. We are going to see my friend whose daughter got her degree last week. Then we are going to have her party on Sunday and in the mix of all of that will be my workout, shopping for the party and sleep. I will try to sneak some online time in this weekend to check in.

Susie - Welcome to the 30DS club. Have a good time with level 1 because level 2 ain't no joke.
Aluxa - I understand where you are because my family is like that. If I don't go see them I won't see them. They are all slim so I usually catch it when I do see them. :hug::hug: Here's to preparing for the visit. Sometimes people we meet along the way and they become close friends that turn out to be better to you than family. So know that you are doing a great job with your weight loss and keep your head up!!

Hi chicks! The good news is I am down to 105.6, the bad news is I ate 5300 calories today, I ate everything in sight. My husband can't believe how much I can actually fit in my stomach. I can eat more than him, and I have a 25in waist, that's pretty bad. So, I'll be back to trying to lose water weight again from today's disaster. I'll post tomorrow to let you all know how much I can gain in one day! lol (it's not funny, is it?)

Morning all!!!! Today is a good day so far, I can just tell!! Some coffe, warm sun, and a little bit of Michael Jackson to start my day today!!! I am down another pound, so that's a total of 6 lost towards my goal! Only 9 more!!

aluxa: i'm so sorry to hear about that dear! That's terrible!! But you have lost weight, so maybe it will be better? I hope so! But never lose weight for anyone else, only do it to make yourself happy!!
I agree with what jiggle said, sometimes friend are better than family, you choose friends, you can't choose your family. Trust me not all of my family is great either, I honestly can't stand 3/4 of my mom's side (boy that sounds terrible, but it's true!). They are very selfish and only care about themselves, so I just realized I need to not care anymore. Hope all goes well!

fruitlady: woah haha I am shocked you can fit that much in too!!!! i'm sure it'll be waterweight you will be gaining, cuz i don't think you can gain actual fat in a day.

Hugs to all~Off to hang dry clothes to save money to help save for my hubby a riding mower so he doesn't have to push mow over 3 acres anymore someday.Since he has RA(rheumatoid arthritis)
Having lots of issues with my back & lungs today~Ughhhh That medicine keeps me calmer though still.Thanks for everyones support~I have been hang dryinging clothes for a few days now so I may weigh lower getting ready to go weight in ~WISH ME LUCK!

As for me, yes of course I gained almost 3 lbs. so far. I'm sure there's going to be more when I step on the scale tomorrow. I didn't do too good today either, i had 2350 cal.( better than yesterday) I had this huge cupcake and a 4x2 in. brownie, both w/ peanut butter icing. Easily 1000 cal. right there! It's gonna take me much longer to lose this weight for sure.

Just a quick check in..i love reading how everyone's doing! Everything is going well, still on plan...its TOM for me right now so the scale is holding steady at 177.8. But to be honest, its usually in the 180's when its TOM time so im taking that as a loss;)

Oh my goodness Jiggle and Krista (and anyone else doing it) ! I am sooooo sore from 30DS yesterday!! Were y'all a mess the second day? I haven't done it yet, my mind is saying, "you can't!" But my body is saying, "I must try." I feel like especially my quads have been through a meat grinder!

ETA: I did 30DSL1D2. I made it through, but it was tough! I'm glad I did it, I'll survive. But man am I sore!

Hello Ladies!!!!

I had a decent week. I wasnt OP Thursday and Friday though. I had dinner at my parents house. Im sure I went over on my calories but I didnt sit down and figure everything out, I figured it would discourage me. I was doing good and OP all day Thursday and Friday except for dinner. I stop by my parents house every night to feed my horses and both nights they asked me to stay for dinner. I already had OP dinners planned but I feel so bad telling them no so I stayed. Im definetly back on track and actually came in under my calorie allowance today.

Farn Congrats on the finals. Enjoy your summer, you deserve it after all the hard work youve done.

Aluxa Im sorry your so stressed out about your trip. Maybe it wont be as bad as your anticipating.

Hello all, I haven't been on in a few days and I don't have much time right now, but I wanted to pop real quick and say hi. I hope everyone is doing well. I am fantastic! My husband came home from a deployment on Fri. (he left back in Feb.). This weekend has been wonderful. The weather has been nice. We grilled out all weekend, sat outside playing cards and dominoes with the kids. I have been eating OP, but I haven't done any regular exercise, just some walking around shopping Sat afternoon. Tomorrow is WI day; I hope it is good. My husband leaves again in a few days (a just short trip this time), so I don't want to spend much time on the computer while he is here.

Whew, 30 DS L1 D3 - done. My quads still feel like they've been made into ground meat! The weird thing is that since it only lasts 20 minutes, I don't feel like I've "paid my dues" time wise. So today I did another 40 minutes on the TM in addition. That got in my one hour of exercise.

I'm totally OP calorie wise today. No little splurges today. That's big for me on a Sunday!

Mkyice: Have fun whith your hubby while he's home! What did he say about your amazing weight loss while he was gone?

Farn: You go girl on getting the 30DS and staying home on Sat night looking forward to exercise! You're building a new you! I hope your younger, stronger legs aren't as sore as mine LOL. It's going to be worth it though!

Jiggle: Happy Birthday to your baby girl! I can't wait to see pix of you in those TSP's!!

Sugar: I'll bet you'll do just fine if you were OP all during the day and then the supper at your parents. Just plan ahead that while you're there, take less onto your plate than you normally would, then eat only about 2/3 of that. Do they know you're trying to lose weight?

Ok, more personals later. My baby boy is screaming through the monitor - he's done playing and is ready to get up! Gotta get back into Mommy mode.

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!! I have to admit I would be having a better one if I wasn't so dang sore from my first day of 30DS. OH MY GOD. I am in soooo much pain!!!! I went to church this morning with my mom and the whole up down up down kneel thing was killing me! haha but i'm going to do it tonight too. I want to do it every single day, just to see if I can do it. so who else is doing the 30DS on here? Susieyarb, jiggle, KDM? Are you guys doing it every single day or just fitting it into your other exercise?

sugarrox: thanks! good job on getting back on track right away after those dinners! that's always a difficult task!!!


susieyarb: haha the first day was so rough i'm terrified about doing the second day when i get home!!!! hahaha and i dont think my age helped me out at all on this one! I basically crawled up the steps after doing it. hahha

well i'm at work for another hour and then home to eat dinner and then do L1D2 of 30DS. excited and scared at the same time! I might just lay there and pass out on the mat for the night after I'm done! haha

Had a crazy weekend of food. My mom fixxed dinner last night which included one of my fave (noodle salad) and went to my friends house where they were making smores with marshmallows the size of your fist! It was fun thou.:D

Susie~ hubby was impressed and very complimentary. He has seen me at a healthy weight, and fit and active and at my highest. He has always been very loving and supportive, but I can tell he is liking my lower weight and higher energy levels :~)

Well, today is Monday, so I stepped on the scale -0.8lbs. I new I wasn't going to be happy with it before I stepped on. I am retaining water (my hands and feet are puffy). I am not sure why. TOM should be next week. I guess I need to start tracking when I am retaining water and see if it is related to my cycle or something. I am getting plenty of water and I try and watch my sodium intake. We'll see!
I hope everyone has had a good weekend and is recharged and ready for this week.

Good evening everyone. I missed you all. It was a very busy weekend but I got my workout in and ate on plan. Even today...not a single piece of cake or icing. Took lots of pics of me but can't load them because the file is too big. So I changed my avatar to show me in the TSPs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY I DID IT :carrot::carrot: I'm really proud of myself. I was trying to attach a before picture and after picture but maybe someone can tell me how to do that. My daughter had a great birthday. She didn't like everyone singing the birthday song together. It was ok for me to sing it to her but to include eveyone else did not get a hand clap.

Susie - Thank you so much for sending the jeans. I wish you had written your name and the date you sent them and we could see how far they travel. Anywho, keep doing 30Ds and it will get easier...at least level 1!!!
Farn - HAHAHAHAHAHAHA :rofl:30DS will get easier. I have yet to master level 2 but someday!!
Mkyice - Enjoy your husband. We understand. I can't imagine being away from my husband.

Cause heart trouble is not what I needed to hear when I'm doing so well on my weight. I'll be praying for you and that you get a good report.

Hello everyone. Well, I'm only down 4lbs right now of the 10 I wanted to lose for this challenge. But considering I have been out of the gym for two weeks, I know thats why I have such a slow loss. Plus being sick with pneamonia didn't help either. Anyways, feeling better now. Have another check up with the doctor tomorrow. Hoping to get back into the gym Wednesday night this week!!!

Just a small fyi for anyone looking for extra accountability. The Biggest Loser Summer Challenge is starting soon. Sign up deadline is in two days on May 18th by 11:59pm (AST). Its my first time leading a team after being apart of 3 challenges so I am really excited. Love all my calorie counting chicks!!

Morning all!!! So I was not able to work out this morning, do my regular cardio because L1D2 of 30DS kicked my butt yet again...it is definitely a love/hate relationship! but i'm going to do my cardio after work today and 30DS before bed tonight. I'm down 6.5 pounds so far towards my goal, so I have 8.5 left!! I really hope I can make it, pretty confident that I will be able to.

Today my daughter is 17 ~Happy Birthday to My Camila(Pronounced like pamela but with a "C"~We call her Cami)


Just got back to the Lung doctor~he ordered a bunch of tests~A cat scan of chest (lungs) For the 20th Of May~Echo ~something or the other(heart) For June 1st then an appointment back with him on June 25th o 28th I will have to recheck(the date of that one) anyways that one to discuss the results of everything~although if something Really bad shows up in either I will be called before the last appointment I was told.~So Not exactly the results I wanted today But I will figure it all out soon enough ~HOPEFULLY! Only thing he really said is after he heard me breathe well if ya have asthma u can always move to Florida~HAHAHA~Ughhhhhhhhh ~Please God Let this doctor figure me out~i know he was just trying to put me at ease but I was in no mood for jokes I wanted answers~Next month I should have answers>~FINGERS CROSSED!
Off to lay down a bit I am worn out~the cold air here today has done a number on me & I gotta go to the library soon.....UGHHHHH~Gotta be nice all day too cause my daughter stayed home for a free no day of school for her birthday~& Yes ~I called to tell my hubby everything they said & did before I got home ~DARN ME FOR LOVING HIM LIKE CRAZY~LOL
I hope we do not fight today ~it was minimal yesterday but I hate anything to do with fighting.HUGS!:hug:

JIGGLE! You look awesome in those TSP's!! I got tears in my eyes seeing you wearing them so well! You look great girl!! You've got such a tiny waist, I don't think I ever looked that good in them LOL.

Farn: I'm committing to myself to do the 30DS for 30 consecutive days. I'm going to do level one until I can do it absolutely continuously so I may do it more than 10 days before moving on to level 2. Today was day 4 for me and it was soooooo much better. I'm going to believe Jillian when she says day 5, 6, or 7 I'll be amazed at my endurance. When I woke up this morning, my quads weren't nearly as sore - they were markedly better. It didn't kill me to sit on toilet LOL.

Krista: Did you ever take the pg test?? Wondering about you!


Lori: I'm glad to hear you did well at the doctor, but sorry to hear it's going to take so long to get answers. Isn't that the way it always goes? Hooray for you making your goal of 155.2!! Happy birthday Cami!

Shan: That's great about your hubby, mine is like that too. He loves me no matter what which is one reason I think I let myself go for so long. But like your's I think he's liking this new me a lot too ;o)

I'm dying to know if JDonato has gotten engaged yet! Has anyone heard from her?

So, for me, like I said above, I did my 30DS L1D4 this morning and it was alot better. Not easy by any means and I'm still way sore. But it's getting better. I see a big difference in my ability to do the push ups and I'm doing better on the butt kicks too. Nearly kickiing my own butt, but still pretty much with Anita on those.

Calorie wise, I'm keeping it w/in my 1400-1600 this week and being able to stick with it pretty well. I'm not weighing again until Friday.

For our Mem. Day goal - since I already met my goal, I'll most likely weigh in on the 25th or 26th because I'm going to be on about day 2 of TOM on Mem. Day and who wants to weigh in on TOM!?!

Ok, gotta run get my makeup on and dry my hair before picking up DD from school and heading to the grocery store! Y'all have a great afternoon!
