Mkyice- sounds like a bad burn! Last summer I got a second degree burn right on my lower back- was so painful to even sit down for a week! Not to mention I still have a lasting "tan" from it. Heh, I'll be out in the sun all day...spf 100!!!
Shylah- Good choice to keep going! Glad to hear that your shoulder wasn't bothering you. And about the belly flab- just think what'll look like after you push through! Sugarrox- I LOVE the skinny cow ice cream sandwiches. Got a box in my freezer right now. Is that what you got? I have a sweet tooth, so they're not too sweet for me, haha! Jiggle- Glad to hear your daughter is doing okay! And it's great you're sticking on plan and feeling so positive with the added stress. KDM- THANKS! And I did say no to the treats! Completely ignored them, and didn't have a desire for them. It helped that I had had a bowl of cereal beforehand, haha. Congrats on the 160's! And wow on the packing- I couldn't ever do that well, haha. Farn- Thanks for the encouragement! Looks like we're all kicking butt. As for me...as I said, yesterday I did beat the treats. Ignored them completely. I stuck very well with my calories and even went for a long walk in the 90 degree weather despite being exhausted from my am workout. Just got done with my workout for today and am about to lather up the sunscreen and head outdoors for the rest of the day. I'm feeling very good about reaching my goal! |
Good day everyone. Well, still home with the baby. When I took her to the daycare they asked if the dr said she was no longer contagious. I said I don't have it so I guess not. They told me I needed to take her to the dr and get his release. Since I have good health insurance I did it. He said nope. Keep her home til Monday because as long as she is still runny it's contagious. So we're home again. But the cool thing is I don't go back to work til nest Tuesday. I have plenty of sick time so it's all good. I'm still on plan and working out. Waiting on her to take her nap so I can shred.
Shylah - I understand the flapping. It gets better because it starts to disappear. I keep looking at my stomach and am amazed that the rolls are really leaving. So keep going!! In a while you won't need the extra support...REALLY!! The collar bones are there trust me. I am starting to see neck muscles...NEVER was I expecting that. It's surreal. Corinne - That's how I got past the cookies that were at work everyday for two weeks. Good Job on saying no and eating cereal beforehand!! Do what you gotta do to get where you are going!!! KDM - You are inspiring me to keep going. You are doing the dog gone thang!! Lori - Facebook is very addictive. I love it because I found a lot of people I knew in High School. Seeing how old people are looking is wild. Sugar - A month of uninterrupted honey time!!! YAY!!!! I will say I was a little disappointed about having to stay home today because I was so cute. But Tuesday will be another cute day!! |
Good afternoon ladies!
So i've gained a few lbs 3.4 to be exact in the past few days, mainly because TOM is 2 1/2 weeks early! That's from the stresss of everything, and i've been relaxin and pigging out a lil so now i'm back on track today. I had a talk with the bf last night about taking the rest of the left over cookies and brownies and just throwing them out! I"m getting rid of the wine in the fridge too. I hate to waste food but we don't know anyone who will take it and I'm not going to sabbatage everything i've worked for. Oh and i'm getting back to CC in my journal...i got away from that too during graduation and the party. I may have puffed in in lbs but in inches i'm still the same so that's good and tells me it's water weight. jiggle: It's nice you have great health insurance and hope your little one gets better so she can go back to daycare. Oh and I hear about this shred...what workout is it? I've been meaning to find something new to get those last few places. Corinne: awesome job on not giving in and the walk too in 90 degrees! Way to stay OP! ShylahEQ: I love it so much with your last comment about your stomach jiggling but no flapping...i know what you mean. I'm at the jiggling phase. You wouldn't tell from pictures but being apple shaped I can hide my stomach very well and I can't tell if it's excess skin or fat hanging down. Keep up the good work and sweating!;) KDM: you look amazing! Love the pic, I saw the befores and looking at you now your so tiny! I bet everyone noticed when they saw you. I'm not working in my field just yet...i'm trying to apply for jobs in engineering. I want to pass that clep so my diploma comes in sooner, which helps for employers to see proof right away. I'll get all my resume and coverletter ready so I can send out right away. I'm currently working in retail, which is what I've been doing putting me through school. Lori: Hope everything is well with the doc. appts. And facebook will get more addicting once you start the quizes! lol... Sorry to everyone else, I have to get to clearing out my kitchen and studying for my CLEP...and thanks guys for you comments and support. It means alot! Have a great day and lets keep OP! |
I’m here to say hi!!
Susieyarb: :congrat: for your swimsuit!!! Jdonato: I’m still one pound away, this weekend was a disaster one for me. Jiggle: I hope your baby get well soon!! KDM: :balloons: you look great!!! Shan: :congrat: for the new job!!! |
Hey gang!
Well, my baby boy is still sick, so I've not been online much. He's been really clingy. I took him to the doctor again yesterday and I stopped by Cato on the way home and got a new dress! It's size MEDIUM!! It's the black/white/turquoise one. I'll wear it on our cruise next month. Did I mention it is a size Medium!!! I am pleasantly surprised with Level Two of 30DS! I kind of like it! The oblique twists are the hardest thing for me. I think I'll stick to my plan of doing Level 2 for 5 days, then I'm going to do Level 3 for 5 days then repeat for the last 10 days. I have a theory, though, about 30DS. I think it's impossible to lose weight doing it! I'm still at 189.2 as of yesterday morning. I did start TOM today, though. So maybe I can weigh in Monday and PRAY for a loss! I hate that I made my goal and then lost it! If I were to advise people beginning 30DS, I'd say "weigh right before you begin and then don't weigh again for the entire 30 days!" I've stayed OP with my calories all the while doing 30DS, so there is no reason I shouldn't be losing other than TOM. I'm sorry I haven't had much time to do personals lately. Nicole, you and I are at the exact same place height and weight wise! |
Shylah--Good Job starting 30DS again! I sweat a TON also...when I do 30DS, I sweat in places I didn't know sweated! haha Like my shins! haha
Corinne--CONGRATS on saying NO and walkin in the severe heat! You Go Girl! Jiggle--Sorry to hear the little one is still sick!! But atleast you getta stay home from work :) Hope she feels better soon. Jdon--Thanks!! And I'm sure you gain was ALL water weight!! It'll come right back off!! GOOD JOB gettin back OP! BTW, Shredding is Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred...It's an awesome WO! You should check it out! There's quite a few of us doin it these days :D Aluxa--THANKS!! And we all have disaster days...don't fret it too much...You'll get right back on track and lose it no time! Susie--Sorry your baby is still sick!! Hope he gets better soon! Glad you like L2...I HATED IT!! haha I like your idea of mixing up the levels and not stayin on one for 10 days...I'm not quite sure how I'll do it once I finish my 30 days...I've been thinking about doing each level 3 consecutive days and then a day of rest and repeat, with cardio each of those days also?!?!? I dunno for sure tho...As for losing weight during, I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU! But I read some reviews of the WO on Amazon and many people said they didn't lose alot of weight, but they lost more in inches...so I'm really anxious to see my measurements when I'm done! 6more WO's and I'll measure...I may end with a total WL of 2-3lbs...but I'm gaining muscle...I can feel it in my legs & arms! :D Even tho there's a little bit of cardio in the WO, IMHO I feel this is more of a strength training WO... AS FOR ME.....IT'S OFFICIAL!! I'M IN A NEW DECADE!!! Weighed today at 169.4 and I had just over 1100 calories yesterday...I did 30DS L3D4 yesterday afternoon plus 5miles on the recumbent last night...I was doing so good until DH decided to take me out to lunch today! haha But hopefully I'll just have a very light dinner and see how close I come to my daily cal. limit... HAPPY HUMP DAY! |
Feeling a little discouraged today ladies. I weigh in daily, but only officially keep track of it once a week. Yesterday my calories were between 1700-1900 and I worked out for one hour with my personal trainer. Stepped on the scale today and I am up 2lbs. What the heck? So tired of the scale going up! It's supposed to be going down. Grrr.
|
Krista: Yay! The 160's!!! Oh, I can't wait till that day comes for me!! I'll be about done then!
Shan: I'm sorry you had an upward move on the scale. Could you be working out so hard you need a tiny bit more calories? It's the pits when that happens. |
This challenge has been a bummer for me so I've been avoiding this thread. I was really hoping to intensify my workouts and introduce more strength training since most of what I do is cardio, but I got a bad respiratory infection and had to rest for a several weeks. I tried exercising a few times, but my symptoms would just get worse so I really had to cut it out.
Anyway, I inadvertently adjusted my plan to account for the lack of exercise by being miserable and not wanting to eat much so I still lost and it's staying off. I think I was averaging 1300 a day. I do have to thank my brother though. He kept making me healthy meals when all I wanted to do was take a bunch of pills and sleep. Every time I got on the scale I expected to be disappointed and I'm pretty relieved, tbh--even though getting sick isn't an ideal way to lose. I might end up only 1.5 pounds short of goal. I hope everyone else is having an excellent time and I'm cheering you all on. |
KDM - 160's woohoo! I can't even imagine being there :p
Shan - sorry for the gain, have you been gaining steadily over the week? is TOM coming? I've gained 4 lbs over night just from sodium, it kills me even though I know it's just water. Rice - I hope you are feeling better soon. Keep up on the healthy eating, it will stick!! Day 3 - 30DS done. Loving it so much. I love the sweat! I have to keep a towel around because it is running down my face and into my eyes. Weird thing to like, I know. lol I am thinking I'll do this for 30 days or when it's too easy, whatever comes first. Then I'll move on to lvl 2 for 30 days etc. I'm amazed I'm not sore. My knees take a beating, but I feel great otherwise. |
Shylah- I get it about loving the sweat- makes you really feel what you're doing! I have hyperhydrosis so I tend to sweat a lot anyways, haha, but it's satisfying when it's coming from hard work. Good luck with 30ds!
Ricepapr- Sorry to hear you've been sick. Hopefully you'll stay healthy! That's awesome about your brother- wish mine would do that for me! Shan- Maybe it's muscle? Or TOM? Either way, it's just a little bump in the road. Be proud of the work you did. KDM- Congrats on the new decade! Seriously, it always feel so good. Great accomplishment. And thanks! Susie- Congrats on the mediums! I've just bought a bunch of new clothes and made myself buy them all in mediums- hopefully I'll fit in them this summer. Hope your son is doing well! Jdonato- I hear you on the TOM. Mother nature can be so cruel. And thank you! Good luck with studying! Jiggle- Aw, poor girl- good thing she's getting better though! Congrats on staying on plan!! And thank you! Woo! I'm down to 141.4! Only .4 to my Memorial Day goal! It's that TOM for me and yesterday was tough, but I made it through. I had to lay in bed for an hour after I woke up to deal with my cramping (and had frequently woken up during the night because of it) so I was worried that I would have a bad day. But, I forced myself to work out and got up and active. I push mowed for about an hour and a half- it was killer. Normally I can get all the push mowing down in 3 hours, but I could only stand to do half of it. The high was 94 yesterday and I was pouring sweat while doing it! Then I went to a local nursery to pick up some hanging baskets and a few more flowers for my garden. I resisted going for ice cream with my mother but did accompany her up on her property to do some "archaeology" in a very old house foundation that we've been clearing out. Then, came back and planted two rows of spinach, 8 tomatoes (in addition to the four I have) and watered all of the other crops. I still have a LOT more to get in the ground, veggie and flower wise! That'll be the goal for today, haha. I woke up and immediately did my exercising and am now enjoying breakfast and coffee. Then, out to water plants. Whew, I always write too much! |
Hello again ladies ... :) After joining your thread a week ago, I've been waylaid by migraines and not able to read all your posts as I would like ... but just glancing over them, I want to congratulate those of you who are reaching new goals, and encourage anyone having difficulty to "keep on keeping on." That scale WILL drop ... sometimes it's just a bit stubborn.
For myself, after one week with you girls, I have dropped three pounds which I know is mostly water, but that's okay! I'm going in the right direction now. I stayed with my program all but one day ... I confess that I did go more like 2100 that day, rather than my planned 1800 but I forgave myself 'cause I didn't feel well. Thanks for all your encouragement ... I appreciate it! :flow2: I hope you will all have a great holiday weekend ... I'm afraid the outdoor pool water at our YMCA is going to be too chilly to get in but I can always go sit in the sun for a bit! Have fun, girls, whatever you do! :) |
jdonato: Sounds like you have a good plan to get back on track, good luck!
susieyarb: Congrats on the Medium dress, awesome!!!! DOn't give up on 30DS, I'm sure you'll see some results soon. KDM322: Congrats on the 160's!!! Such a big milestone, keep it up!!!! shan84: Try not to stress, if you worked out with a PT yesterday it is verylikely your muscles are swollen and having fluid retention. Give it a day or two, up your water and I'm sure it will fall right off! ricepapr: Hope you feel better soon, but good for you for not getting derailed. CorinneIrene: .4 away, you cna do it! :carrot: babenwaiting: Keep it up you are doing great! I'm holding steady at 169 this week. I would have liked a loss, but I'll take not moving up after the horrible weekend I had. I'm finally able to eat solid foods again, so I'm hoping to loose a pound or so by the end of the challenge. I've already met my challenge goal, so now its just about getting further away from 170 :p Hope you all have a fantastic day! |
Good Morning Ladies!!!!
Im in an awful mood this morning. I HATE my cell phone. DH is in route to coming home. I have no idea where he is though, and I havent spoken to him since Tuesday morning. He said he would call as soon as he got the opportuniy. Well, the opportunity was at 4:00am this morning, my time. BUT, my stupid phone never rang. At 4:00am the phone beeped showing a voicemail, within the next 15mins I got 2 more voicemails from DH. All he said though was "Im trying to call, but I keep getting your voicemail, I will keep trying". So, I got up and sat in the kitchen holding the phone ( I get better reception there) and I never got another call or voice mail. :( Hopefully he will get a chance to call again soon. I still need to get flight info from him so I can meet him at the gate at the airport instead of waiting in baggage claim. I'll be SO glad when this is over. Ok, sorry about that rant. Im doing good calorie wise and Im thinking I will come in at 156 instead of 154 at the end of the challenge. Ive streadily lost a lb a week and Im pretty excited about that. I started counting calories 4/28 and since then Ive lost 13lbs. :) I love calorie counting, I had been trying several different things for months and I wasnt losing anything. The scale didnt start moving till I started counting :) |
aluxa: I know what you mean about weekends...they are my biggest weakness. 1lbs you can so do it and you have come so far, you should be very proud!
susieyarb: Sorry to hear about your baby boy, hope he feels better. And congrats and othe size Medium!:carrot:Now that diserves a celebration! And your going on a cruise....ohhhh how fun! KDM: I'm so happy and proud of you for the 160's that's huge!:congrat: You've worked so hard and the pics show it and so does the scale! You were right about the water weight...1.8lbs went away yesterday just by drinking a crap load of water. I'm so going to looked at 30DS...if the price is right I will get it...but have to be careful about the bf lol...he does the bills in the house and I'm trying to get him on board with eating right again and working out. Men and money...if it's a toy they want oh sure we have the money but for us...it's another girl thing apparently we don't need hehe. Shan: the 2lbs could be water weight, did you eat alot of sodium? and you said you had a good workout, sometimes the muscles swell and hold water while they repair and rebuild from working out. Good Luck! Rice: sorry you've been sick, that's such a bummer. On the positive side you did lose weight and that's something to celebrate! ShylahEQ: nice job on the workout! Many I can't wait to try what you guys are doing...keep up the sweating! :) CorinneIrene: Great job on the workout and way to resist the ice cream. That's my weakness for the summer. Oh and you are planting a garden!?....the bf wants to do one this weekend. any tips? Baben: way to stick with it and 3lbs is huge! Keep up the good work! Fitin10: Way to meet your goal! Thanks, I have gotten back on the wagon and I'm going to try and stay on track. Sugar: Sorry about the DH not being able to talk to him. Hope you get to soon! I know when the bf is on trips, especially when he has to go to Germany....his time to call me is like 2am and i'm already passed out and I missed his calls. He'll be home soon! Good Luck! So great OP day yesterday. I took in 1525cal and my range is 1400-1600 so that's good. from all the water and just staying on track I lost 1.8lbs lol..I hate out our bodies change so quickly. Getting some good progress on the studying, I read all the material, did a practice test, and now I'm going to go over the subjects I got wrong, and this weekend keep taking practice tests. Things are a lil heavy in the house right now...they bf and I have been fighting. Mainly I've been so stressed and to my breaking points and he feels my reactions are treating him like crap. Well part of it I agree with and trying to work through the stress, and the other parts...he keeps wanting more projects more more more and puts more stress and hasn't tried to work with me on what's gonig on in my life, not once! The party he was so consumed with how the house looked(caulked, painted, mulch in the yard) that I had to do all the food, shopping, cooking everything, and he said he wanted to throw me the party? And the other part I feel he's being a bit sensitive lately...on everything! I guess men can have their TOMs too. Oh and did I mention that when we argue as a leverage for him he says comments like..."well i'm not going to put the ring on your finger if you..."....Im not going to marry you if you..." threatening it like it's nothing, and to me it's a huge symbol that he's brought down to just a peice of jewerly to throw in my face! It's to the point where I"m not even excited because he threatens it so much it's just ruins it. I don't know I think maybe we've been cooped up together these past few weeks day and night maybe we need a break...like me going to my parents for the weekend to visit. Or him going for a guys night...which I hope happens soon! So with that rant, I'm going to get ready to go to my Aunts today and then study study study. I hope you all have a great day the weather is beautiful! |
Morning chicas!!! I just cannot keep up with you guys anymore!! :)
Well, I'm down another pound, so a bit closer to my goal! i have a feeling I'm going to come within a pound or two of making it. I also won my 3rd 5 Pound Challenge today!!! woot woot!!!!! That gets me pumped as well! I didn't do 30DS last night, but I made up for it with straight cardio while I was watching the season finale of Criminal Minds! LOVE THAT SHOW! Dr. Spencer Reid is such as dream boat!!!! :) I'm going to start 30DS today and that will take me up to the day before I go to Chicago, so it should work out perfectly if all goes according to plan. KDM: haha i dont think i'm going to make my goal but going to come as close as I can to it! I'm going to start 30DS over today and really focus on doing that everyday. congrats on the new decade!!!! that is awesome!! it's always exciting! You are kicking butt!!! and that NSV is huge!!!! it definitely would have helped me when i went to mexico and my suitcase broke if I could fit all of my clothes in my carry on!! haha congrats, being heavy I know what that feels like! even if you pack for only three days its seems like you have enough clothes for a week!! jiggle: how's your daughter doing? hopefully well! i'm sure you're still enjoying the time at home! I hope! when did you finally start noticing differences with the 30DS? i'm assuming once you have done it close to a month, right? sugarrox: so are those skinny cow ice creams good? i always crave carbs carbs carbs but every once in a while have a sweet tooth. 150 cal isn't bad! sorry about your phone. i'm sure everything will be alright, it's just gotta be that anticipation that is killing ya!! 13 lbs is a lot since the 28th! congrats!!! CC does really help doesn't it? that's what i discovered shortly after I started doing it. at first it seems like a hassle, but totally worth it. shylah: hahaha I laughed sooo hard with that belly flat comment, omg i relate!!!! it sucks!!! that's the first thing I thought of when I did the 30DS the first time. I was like you. have. got. to. be. kidding. me. A whole 30 days of this?! Here's to hoping it gets better for the both of us!! lori: haha yeah facebook is so addicting, I'm a junkie definitely. and it's so easy to be sooo snoopy on there too!! it's bad!! but i love it! corinne: long walk in 90 degree weather? oh my god no thanks!! you've got motivation!!! i have a pool and I can't wait until that is up so I can exercise outside when it's hot like that. I give ya props for getting out there and doing that when most people are vegged up inside! jdon: no not the wine!!!! haha jk jk that would be the hardest part, i love my wine!! I haven't had it for a while however. It would be bad if it was in the house! but that is very smart of you just to throw it out, i agree wasting is bad, but it's worth it in this case. you have come too far to destroy what you've done now! :) definitely water weight. you've already lost 1.8! sweet!!! that's great!! how's the job search coming? would you ever move out of state for a job? im sorry to hear about you and the bf fighting. that's terrible that he says the things he does to you. i'm sure it's just sarcasm, a sharp tongue. my ex bf used to be like that, but it got so bad that i didn't want to put up with it anymore. this just seems like he feels you are hurting him for some reason and that's his way of hurting you back i guess. immature, yes! hopefully you get everything figured out and sometimes a little wknd away can do wonders! susie: sorry to hear about your son! hope he feels well soon! everybody's getting sick!! haha. congrats on that medium! that's amazing! i cannot wait until i am able to put on a Medium! that must feel so great! so you think that it's impossible to lose weight doing 30DS? i was thinking the same thing. I really enjoy 30DS but since I still have sooo much weight to lose should I just stick with cardio until I get lower in my weight and then start toning? I don't want to get slim and end up looking like the Hulk! haha. i'm totally jealous about your cruise!! i'm just going to chicago and i'm excited about that! a cruise, now that's going to be amazing!! and you'll be rocking your new dress!!! shan: don't worry about your little ups and downs. I have been having that for the past two weeks it seems!! Just a fluke I'm thinking. As long as you stick with it you will lose!! well i'm pretty sure i wrote a novel, but i'm just trying to keep up with you ladies!! i'm at work now and we just got a bunch of boxes in so I better get started. home at 5:30 and then 1 hour cardio and then 30DS all over again later tonight! have a good day! |

Hey Ladies I'm sure everyone is excited about this challenge or at least it sounds like it. I will be looking forward to the next one.
I've been doing pretty good today. Still home with my daughter but she is doing well today. She could go to daycare tomorrow but I will wait until Tuesday like I planned. Anywho I was out shopping and found this dress. I really like it, what do you all think? As you can see one side has a lump still and the other one is smoothing out. I love progress!!! |
Looking good Jiggle!
|
jiggle: look at you, ya hottie!!!!!
|
Jiggle- your looking great!
As for me, I have been behaving for the past 7 days. But, can't seem to get to 105lbs. I have 2 lbs to go! |
JIGGLE~LOVE THE DRESS! It is so cool! tottally would wear it! Looks fab On u!
|
Ashley--I LOVE CRIMINAL MINDS ALSO!! Still have the last 3 episodes on the DVR...just waiting for a time when DH & I are both home to watch them!
Lori--4th July challenge sounds good to me :D LOVE THE NEW AVATAR!! Look at those legs...oh how I want legs like that!!! Yes, Jiggle....LOVE THE DRESS!!! And are you sure that's a body lump or just a lump in the fabric???? Either way, it still looks really good!! Super CUTE!!! Sorry, no time to respond to everyone...busy at work...but looks like everyone is doing great! I was bad again today...Mexican for dinner! BLAH! I just can't seem to say NO!! I even had my grilled chicken I made the other night to eat for tonight's dinner & I still gave in!! AAAAH!! Self-Sabotage I tell ya!!! OH well, I'll see the 160s again sooner or later! haha |
Hey guys...
Been offline for a few days...super busy at work and just tired in general. Looking forward to the 3 day weekend with the girls! Haven't kept up with all your posts, but it sounds like everyone is making a strong push to the end and looking forward to the next challenge! I've had a pretty good week so far. Staying OP with my calories, but eating too much junky stuff in the evenings instead of healthier choices. Missed my workout yesterday, but will do another one Saturday morning before I head out for the weekend to make up for it. WI day tomorrow, hoping it's decent! |
.2 to go, woo hoo! Let's all make these last days count.
Can't wait for the 4th challenge! I'll really push myself for that. Jiggle- you look fantastic! Beautiful dress. I've got to be up and off to work, but I just wanted to stop by and say good morning. Hopefully everyone will be on plan and kicking butt! Good luck! |
:exercise::exercise::exercise: Just finished shredding and feeling real good. I was trying to get it done before my daughter woke up but didn't happen and of course she wanted to participate. I didn't get all my water or shred in yesterday. So today I'm on a mission!! Well a couple more days ladies and I'm giving it all I have til the end. I'm going to get some cardio in this afternoon.
Farn - I started seeing results the first week I started. I was a size 24 so the inches were falling off. I think that's where my loyalty to 30DS comes from. I was loosing an inch a week in my hips, waist and stomach. Now it down to about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch in those same areas. I have to work harder to loose inches. Sugar - Hopefully hubby has arrived and you are enjoying him!! KDM - For sure it's a body lump!! I wish it was just the dress. But Thankfully it's smaller than it used to be!! Shylah - I love the skinny cow too but I had to stop eating it because I was eating it everyday and it would slow me down on my workouts. Fruit - I'm so proud of you for behaving. Keep going you will get those two pounds off in no time. EVERYONE - Thanks for the compliments on the dress. I'm going to go get it today. I was excited because it's a size 16 and it looked that good without a girdle!!! :dancer::dancer: Speaking of girdles...i had bought a vest type girdle about a year after I had my daughter. I was a size 22 by then but I kept gaining weight and it got too little.:( I tried it on yesterday and it's too big now!!!:D:D One question for those of you that had back fat to loose...What size did you get to before they become humps and then went flat?? It seems like these things are moving slower than my stomach. I know they are coming down because my shirts from last summer fit that were too small or the ones that fit are too big. I have to stay focused on the progress I'm making...no matter how big or small. |
I hate my back fat ugh!
Ladies! I have on a pair of size 18 pants, NO MUFFIN TOP. they buttoned NO PROBLEM. I am SO excited. They are a pair of Sonoma brand that run smaller than my normal Avenue pants. I'm just so darn excited haha |
Morning
I shamelessly poke my head in and say "Howdy". Lots of things going on lately and i have managed to GAIN weight. But i will be back on track by the time the next challenge rolls around. Jiggle-I ADORE that dress, makes me want to go out and find me a cutesy summer dress! Lori-LOVE your new avatar...you keep me inspired girl! KDM-Your doing better than me with the self sabatoge..i just gave up completely for about 5days straight, ACK!Im sure you will come back strong. No more excuses for me. I felt like crap the entire time i was off my plan so i know what to do to feel better. I loved your dress by the way..so cute, the sandals didn't look bad at all with it! Hello to EVERYONE i missed. Looking forward to chatting with you all in the next challenge! (and doing happy dances while we keep getting skinny :)) |
MissPriss - good plan, get back on that wagon :)
Oh I forgot to mention, all my talk of not being sore... yeah i woke up sore today haha! put off my morning workout until this evening. I will not miss a day!! |
Hi girls ... is everyone ready for their holiday weekend? Good but healthy food on hand, and all that good stuff? We are going to grill everything ... pork chops, steak, burgers ... so hopefully that will help me stay on program! I bought a bag of red, yellow and orange peppers at Costco to do a batch of onions & peppers, marinated with lemon juice/evoo/herbs, and done on the grill in a fine mesh basket. Tastes wonderful, and very low in calories.
Jiggle, your new dress is so different and cute and summery. It suits you ... enjoy it! My wardrobe is mostly black and white (like with my silver hair), but with lots of shades of blue thrown in .... KDM & Ashley, we are huge CRIMINAL MINDS fans, too ... that whole cast is great, and OMG, can those writers do creepy stories! :o We just watched the season finale last night ... Sugar, I hope your hubby has arrived home in time for the holiday weekend. Well, girls, I joined you so late for this Challenge. I did drop another pound so that's four in all. If you do a July 4th Challenge, that would be GREAT! That's my anniversary so that's also an incentive to really buckle down! Keep up the good work, ladies! You're all such an inspiration ... :^: Have a good one ... Babe |
jiggle: love the dress! It looks amazing on you ;)
Farn: The job hunting is going slow mainly because I just got my laptop in and trying to my resume off my old one, and I'm focusing on my CLEP test next Tuesday. That test determins my diploma. Yes I'm sorry I had to waste the wine....it was a shame but needed to be done. And the bf, I have no idea what is going on. He won't talk to me he just ignores me as if I'm not there and that's it. So I have no idea what he feels like so how can I fix it or even try to understand. We will see. Ok so weight is good, but now I'm trying to find a good workout program to help get rid of the fat around the stomach and my love handles as well as tone my arms....I can grab them and really get alot, it's as if my whole side is just fat. Went over in calories yesterday and it's not that I ate alot it's higher calorie dense foods. There is 2 kinds of fat I have around my midsection. the love handles are solid fat, and the fat on my belly is jiggle fat, if ya know what I mean. I work today until 5:45 and I have no frozen meals or lunch meat in the fridge so no idea what i'm doing for lunch. Trying to make better decisions. I have no idea what to do with the bf, some how I get the feeling he's gong to break up with me, it's like he's trying to find problems...know what I mean? Well thats my bit for the morning. Hope everyone has a great day! :) |
Ok girls I totally screwed up. The pants I am in are Sonoma's but size 20 :( I am still calling a victory because last saturday I went to wear them and they wouldn't button unless I held in my gut. Today, np at all and no muffin top. I've been wearing 20's from LB and Avenue all along, so i'll still take this as a small victory lol
|
Shylah, if you can button pants today that you couldn't button a week ago, that's a definite victory, no matter the pants size! :) Good for you ... You said you were so sore ... do you ever take Motrin or some such thing to ease that? It helps ...

I'm doing good today. I went back to the store to get my dress in a size 16 and it was GONE!:( I didn't give up trying to find another one and found a 14. My niece was shopping with me and encouraged me to try it on to see how it fit. It looked pretty good but I may need a girdle to keep my stomach from jiggling but then again I may not. I will see when I wear it to work this week. We have been out all day. So I walked a lot and will add that as more exercise.
Shylah - You know what, that is a great victory. You couldn't button them without sucking in your stomach and now you can without a muffin top. That would have me running around the house and dancing no matter what size they are. I still have a pair of size 18s that I can wear but the are too tight. They fit like a small 16. So :carrot::carrot:Dance girl!! Jdonato - I have to say those sound like my troubled areas. I've been doing the 30DS level 3 for almost a week and have been getting good results in those very areas. But I have to work on hips and thighs as well. I think each level is good for toning. I like it as opposed to lifting in my legs because I don't want big muscle bound legs...which is what happens to my legs when I lift. Babe - The grilled peppers sound tasty. We are going to be grilling on Sunday and resting Monday. Tomorrow is errand day so nothing big for that. Congrats on that extra pound!! Well I'll holla back later. |
I'll never make it, i overate yesterday and today. Had way too many calories, I know I'm gonna gain again. I'll never make it to 105 lbs for the challenge. I'm just ready to give up.

Missed my WI yesterday, but am kind of glad I waited until this morning, because it was close! First WI was .2 lbs shy, so I tried again and bam! 224 on the button :) 50 pounds lost...I will take it! Went swimsuit shopping yesterday for the girls weekend (which I am leaving for in a little bit...so sorry about not doing shout outs today), and I actually found something I don't hate!! Granted I'm nowhere near bikini territory, but at least I'm done with the 1930's style swimdresses, lol. I hope you ladies have a wonderful memorial day weekend...can't wait to check in Monday and see how everyone did. Gosh, I feel good today!! :) |
Good morning all!
I made the 3 pounds for the challenge, hopefully it will stay that way as tomorrow is my exercise "break" day. *Crosses fingers* Many congrats Northernexposure! Enjoy your ladies weekend! I'm off to work in a little bit (11 hours today and a 14 hour day tomorrow, ugh) but I just thought I'd drop by and wish everyone good luck! I probably won't post again until Monday- so keep pushing ladies! I'll officially WI for the challenge Monday morning. See you all then! And any loss is EXCELLENT! |
