Ah! Again, I'm not here enough! I need to admit a couple of things that have pulled my attention away from here: my boyfriend and I broke up and I'm looking for a new place to live- looking for something bigger (this is not related to the break up, thankfully). The break up has really put me in a rut. I spent this past weekend with my family and overate the entire time. Monday's weigh in reflected that at 191lbs, +1lb... sure, it could have been worse but it still felt awful seeing a gain. On a positive note, I completed W7D3 of C25K yesterday. I was worried I wasn't going to be able to complete it because of the poor eating I did over the weekend plus not working out since Thursday of last week. But... I got through it. I'm going to start W8 tomorrow.

jigglefree Maggiano's is freakin' delicious! You made some awesome choices and conquered the pasta bowl! WTG!

KDM I'm actually pretty upset WVU beat Kentucky! I had Kentucky winning my bracket so their loss really screwed me! But... yay for your alma mater!

jdonato Yayyyyy for the loss! As for running out of coffee, I couldn't imagine a day without coffee. I'm sorry you had to go through such a thing!!

didi 1.5lb loss towards your challenge goal is so awesome! Keep it up. You're going to make it!!!

********* Congratulations on completing W1D1 of C25K! Getting through each and every day of C25K gave me a sense of major accomplishment. I look forward to hearing about your progress with it!!

I'm back OP after a few days of silence from here. I got knocked down and kept myself there, only 1 lb of damage so far, we'll see. As of yesterday, I'm on track again and I don't see that changing today or tomorrow.

So glad to hear that most of us are doing well this challenge. Those like me, that had a few bumps, we can do it !

I will also try to keep up better myself. I tend to do better and stay on plan when I'm here more often.

katy05- I'm sorry about the break up, those are so hard...so you know what? if you get up and do anything at all, you should be proud of yourself! Kudos for coming in here....:hug:

ShylahEQ- no worries, that's the right attitude, get back on and ride! ;)

farn- ah, the dreaded down slope, no worries climb back up here, we'll be waiting for you! You recognized it! That's the first step.

thundah- yeah.... sometimes small meals are just easier...I've considered them, but with my binging habit I can't seem to make it work in the evenings...I get like I'm starving by then if I just munch a bit here and there.

angels- yeah rain sucks...I don't want to walk in the rain or I'd have been out there much more!! Argh... and here it says it will rain through tomorrow night and then sun on Thursday. :sunny:

jigglefree- omg a 200 cal dinner, wtg....I could never do it, I'd find all the crap in the house before midnight! :cookie:

KDM322- ah, well hopefully this new challenge and new plan will work out for you....you know, it helps me to make a list of things, I make a lot of lists and don't get them all done anymore but they still help.... writing foods eaten, planning foods, planning exercise, etc....good luck! :D

I guess, I'm wondering, why you're a fan? LoL Alot of ppl don't even know it's a STATE, let alone, that we have some good sports teams! haha

Katy--sorry to hear we ruined your bracket...I think that happened to alot of pp...no one, AND I MEAN NO ONE, thought we would win! (except for those of us WV fans) thats the thing I've noticed the past couple years, we can surprise the heck out of ppl...I think KY just got a little rattled and w/their inexperience, couldn't regain it (well, atleast until it was too late--3min to go) ----SORRY to hear about your breakup...a 1lb gain is nuttin, atleast you've realized you need to get back on track and not let a stupid guy ruin all your progress!!! Congrats on completing Wk.7...I'm still running 30min 2-3x per week, but can't do much more yet...

Night---I like lists too!! LoL I do keep track of food eaten on my iPod in the LoseIt! app...as for planning, I usually plan my dinners, but allow co-workers to talk me into changing it! I DO need to change this!!!

After chugging 4.5 LITERS of H2O yesterday, I'm down almost an entire pound...178.6...we had a meeting at work yesterday where they had Baja Burrito catered for dinner...I fixed 2small burritos and only ate 1! I usually eat both! Then, only put a handful of chips on a plate and 2-3tbsp of queso...so I think I did pretty good...at least for me! Normally, I'd eat until the chips were gone! haha They also had GiGi's cupcakes (AWESOME!!!) and brought one home and made DH eat the majority of it...and I had a couple "tastes"...usually, I'd eat an entire one! AND, I told several ppl at work about my "new plan" to help w/accountability...speaking of my plan, I'm adding another on to #3...No chocolate AND NO DONUTS!!! hehe this will only be a test on Fridays, but it's still a big test!!!

Well, I better go exercise...maybe gonna do some kind of kickboxing...

Hello everyone, Glad to read most of you are doing well, your such an inspiration! And for those that are struggling, I'm right there with ya! I have been struggling today. I was doing so good for the past 2 days and losing weight, today I was cleaning the house all day so of course i got extra hungry from all the activity. I went 750 cal. over my limit. A whopping 1800 cal.! That's way too much for me, I'm a small person. I had 3 lbs to lose for the challenge, now I'll have more to lose for sure. So depressing.

Quick post because I'm still working - tomorrow is the deadline for a couple of my clients so I need to just get thru that and I'll be fine. Well, not fine - but I can then give in to the strep throat I have just come down with. Happens every year - I go for 12 weeks, 60+ hours a week, no worries, then busy season ends and I get sick as a dog. Usually the flu or strep throat, both of which I am certain are "encouraged" by stress and lack of sleep! But in good news, I did get my swim in this morning before I starting feeling rough, and the husband came with me and really enjoyed himself. Hopefully the strep throat will only hinder me for a day or two at the most - I'm working from home tomorrow so I don't infect anyone else, because the doctor warned me that strep throat is super contagious. Nice - I am germy!

:dance::dance::dance::dance:Skip, skip, skip to the loo my darling!! I'm from Mississippi and we said loo no telling what it should be.

I've been doing so well with my eating today. I had a eggbeater omlet this morning: 1 cup of eggbeater, low fat cheese and two slices of turkey breast - 225 calories, A fruit cup consisting of a small nectarine, 1/2 cup of grapes and one med banana - 205 calories, and a salad made with romaine lettuce, three slices of tomato and a veggie burger with balsamic vinegrette dressing - 210 calories. I have a yogurt for my afternoon snack - 100 calories. YEP YEP!! I think this is my menu for the next 7 days to see how my body likes it! Today we are feeling real good about!!

What have you all had to eat today that you really enjoyed?

jigglefree~Not yet~Also getting a new roof~they may not get to the door til 2morrow~DARN IT!~but It is suppose to be warm for the next week!!!! SO YIPPIE!!! & My roof is looking fabulous! So I will forgive em!

hey guys! I am enjoying this beautiful weather, well what I can considering I'm stuck in an office right now between classes. But I parked my car on the street so I have to put more quaters in the meter and that gives me an oppertunity to walk more outside. I've been trying to take the stairs as many times as possible for more exercise.

Jigglefree: amazing job with your menu, and something absolutely deeeelish I had today is Pineapple! It was on sale at the store and I cut it up the other day mmmmmmmm.

Lori: I'm glad your door and roof is being fixed....the bf and I did our roof when we first moved in and thank god they did it really fast! Hope you're feeling better and enjoying the weather.


So the bf wants to start working out in the mornings...starting the first..tomorrow...well that means we get up at 5:30am to go work out becuase he has work......geeehhh...Well I really don't have a choice becuase I want him to work out with me and he won't workout at night, i get home so late and i'm already wired, so the only way is the mornings. I'm going to have to change my schedule a lil, finals are coming up so I will be up later studying but I can try and study more during the days. I am excited to go to the gym again. I stoped going for a while now and I want to increase some muscle.

So again I can't stress enough how great not eating out has been because I'm not hungry as much and i'm struggling to take in calories which is good, so I'm not overeating. I'm at a consistant weight and size and I'm happy with that.

Katy: I'm very sorry to hear about you and your bf...but things always happen for a reason and we are all here for you if you need anything. :hug:

Just checking in quick before spring cleaning some more. Walked down the BIG hills and then back up this morning. My calves will be screaming tomorrow. It's too windy to ride the bicycle, so having to do my best to walk as I can. Hard to lose my 2 lbs when the weather won't cooperate. Hoping for less wind this weekend.

Oh, jigglefree-I had a pita bread with a bit of spicy mustard, 4 slices of ham, and some spinach. Fills me up quite nicely for 216 calories!

Hi chicks! Hope everyone is doing well today, the weather finally got nice here in Pa. around 2pm. I took a walk for the first time in 4 days. It felt great to get out and walk again. Yes, we had cold rainy weather for 4 days! I gained 8 ounces from going over my calories yesterday. I am doing good today, I'm at 1080 cal. I should lose that 8 ounces soon. So, I still have 3.8 lbs to lose for the challenge. My own little personal goal is to lose as much as possible by Easter, so no more going over my calorie limit til i hit 105!
