Hey Ladies ,
I had a great weekend. Saturday we ran around all day and I went to sleep when I first got home for about four hours. Then I got up and did Tae Bo and abs. After two day of 30 Day Shred and a day of Tae Bo, rest day was mandatory. We cleaned house yesterday and I ate on plan both day. I fee great. Do you ladies remember I was working real hard to get in a dress during the last challenge. Well I tried it on this morning and it has gotten loose and hangs better. I was so excited, I started screaming. I actually thought about wearing it today but it's too chilly this morning. I tried on another dress and it looks great. I was so excited. KDM - You look really good. In one of the picture comparisons you look shorter. I love your collar bone pic too. That seems like it's a monumental nsv for women. I look forward to seeing mine, since I don't remember ever seeing it. :carrot::carrot: Lori - Cute Dress!!! Hope your day is going well!! :D Susie - Good Morning. I'm keeping a close eye on your progress because it gives me hope!! :jig: Misspriss - You have a serious workout schedule. GO GIRL!!! Okay lets go we are going to meet these goals this challenge. I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's report of success!!:high: |
I did wk 1, day 2 of the C25K today. I've been eating on plan. I don't plan on stepping on the scale until Thurs. I hope it has something nice to say. :~)
Keep up the good work everybody; the 30th is right around the corner. |
hello chicas!
I know I have been extremely MIA this entire challenge, I don't know what is wrong with me!! It's like ever since I got back from Mexico, I lost all motivation to get into shape. I have no idea why. I don't have any motivation to exercise, I'm having random leg aches and back pains, I think it may be some sort of vitamin deficiency, because I felt great when I was taking my daily vitamins. I just started a different kind today, i haven't been able to make it to the place where I got my multi-packs, I have no energy and I have been bruising a lot ( I normally bruise easily however), I'm thinking iron deficiency because my TOM is very very odd/heavy (TMI, i know :)). All this combined I just have put my diet on the back burner, until today when I checked the scale and I gained 10 pounds!!!!!!! TERRIBLE!!!! So I am back on it today, went to TArget got myself a daily mutivitamin with iron I will be taking and see if that helps. I cannot lose focus of my overall goal, I worked way too hard the last few months to give up now!! I need your help and encouragement ladies!!!! Hope all is well for everybody!! Keep up the good work!! :) I'M BACK!!!!! PS: KDM: You LOOK AMAZING!!!!!!! Congrats and awesome job!!!!!!!! Jigglefree: thank you for your words of encouragement! It really helps! yes I hope these vitamins work, it is encouraging that other people are going through the same thing and can conquer it and move forward! thank you! :) |
Farn - It's okay. My iron is usually low and my dr told me to take a prenatal multivitamin and an iron supplement. It helps a lot and keeps me from being tired all the time.:hug:
:cheer2::cheer2::cheer3::cheer3::cheer2::cheer2::c heer3::cheer3: You can do it!! You have assessed the damage and now you can move forward!! |
Hey y'all. Yesterday I got a fire lit under my behind and I'm bound and determined to see ONEDERLAND at my next weigh in!
My plan for this week is to work out at least one hour Sun-Weds by doing Denise Austin w/zone emphases and 30 minutes or more on the TM. I did it yesterday and today already. I'm targeting my calories for 1500-1600 since I'm working out harder. I ended at 1555 yesterday. NO DIET SODA. Plenty of water (already at 72 oz today). On Thursday I'll do a lighter workout, maybe a Walk Away the Pounds DVD. So my body can recover before weigh-in on Friday. Jiggle: I know you're right with me and we're going to make it to size 10!! This morning I tried on the size 10 dress I bought at TJ Maxx and it is fitting better and better. Of course it's still too tight, but in 10-15 pounds I could definitely wear it!! I was hoping to wear it to church on my birthday (Aug. 15) but it's going to fit wayyyy before then!!! My size 16 Old Navy jeans are just falling off me. When I get a replacement pair, I'm sending them to you! I've only worn them 6 weeks :O) Farn: I'm glad you're back, I've missed hearing from you. Jump right back in, and remember how great it felt to see that scale moving down, down, down. It won't take long to get back on track. The baby is waking from his nap so I've got to run but I just wanted to check in. I hope everyone else is doing well. We're going to have success on this challenge!! Keep up the good, hard work everyone!! p.s. I'm so tempted to weigh in tomorrow morning in hopes of getting another carrot and uppiing my avatar to 40 lbs lost - I was just 1 pound shy last weigh in! |
mispriss: the exam was hard! it was nothig like the prof said it was gong to be. So I hope he curves it and realizes my efforts and I still pass. I'm praying every day. Thanks for your encouragement :)
KDM: Wow you look amazing! seriously those pics really show how hard you've worked. I'm proud of you! Farn: I know what you mean, you can get back on track we are all here for you and yes take the multi-vitamin...they are very helpful. So this weekend we did the hardwood floors, we still aren't done aparently it take longer to dry between coats. I ate out a few times...had no choice due to me working, and the floors. But I had nachos and chineese food and I didn't overeat! I ate only my portions and then stopped and had no snacks. I did very well. I gained 2lbs but i think thats from TOM or sodium because I burned way more calories than I took in this weekend. I feel like i got some more muscle. So back on track with not eating out for the week. went to the grocery store this morning and the bf and I agreed to spend some more $ so we had more options...wow good deals this week! I could have spend more! I'm craving cheetos and pop right now but I"m going to try and work through it. It's been 26 days without pop and I'm going to see how long I can go. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and I will be back on later to get to you all...since the floors are being done...internet at home is a lil difficult. Have a great day! |
Well, I am at the lowest weight I've seen since I packed on 30lbs in the post-wedding marital bliss period. Yay me. :)
I made mini crustless quiches last night. They are so good but they were an absolute bugger to try and get out of the muffin pan! Someone on Wiki answers suggested getting a silicon pan so you can pop them out more easily - duh. Never thought of that! |
Thanks everyone!!!
mkyice--yeah, from the 1st to the last is def. a huge difference...i asked DH why in the world he never told me I looked that bad! lol he didn't have an answer! haha miss--hope you had a good WO! and good luck doin the carpets! Mine need done too... night--yes, alcohol definitely packs the water weight on!!! but you'll get it right back off!! jiggle--not sure why that one pic makes me look shorter...I was standing the same spot with the DH & Camera in the same spot...and I cropped all the pics the same...hhmm?? Good job eating OP and getting your WO in...and CONGRATS on the dress! I LOOOOVE WHEN CLOTHES GET LOOSE!! farn--sorry to hear about TOM..that sucks!! hopefully the MV will help! as for loss of motivation, maybe go read some success stories on here...that always helps me! :) susie--GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR WEIGH IN!!! Sounds like you have a great plan for the week, I'm sure you'll see ONEderland!!! jdon--Good job NOT overeating...I totally wound have! lol and I'm glad to see someone else say Pop...haha down here in TN they make fun of me bc they call everything coke...YAY for 26days NO Pop! That's awesome! jules--Congrats on the new low!! I know how ya feel gainin all that weight after the wedding...but you're track now and doin better than ever! Thanks again everyone for the kind words about my pics...I was glad to finally see a change...even tho I can tell in my clothes (especially going down a size) but when I look in the mirror, I don't see the difference (well except for my collar bones! lol)...so this was nice....the pink tank is actually big and baggy around the mid section...kinda makes me look bigger, but I can totally see a difference with the "spare tire" now gone! lol I took pics in a different tank, one that is tighter and will compare that to pics of 165 or 155 and hopefully see it get looser too :D 12th day of my experiment and all is well :) Can't wait for WI on Friday...another 2.6lbs would be AWESOME!! But I'll be happy with my normal 1lb/week...I guess a loss is a loss... Hope everyone has a great week!!! |
Krista! Wow what a difference in those 20 pounds!! It is encouraging to me! You do look so different. You were pretty before, but you look beautiful! Aren't you just so pleased with your efforts?!
Thanks for posting them, that is so inspiring me!! |
susie--I am pleased, but still think about the last 20-25 more I still have to go (if I stop there)...and I know it's gonna get harder to keep losing...But, yes, I am happy!! My goal of being at 170 by beach time in June is SOOO close!!! AND LOOK AT YOU...almost ONEderland!! WOOHOO!! You WILL make it soon! I bet this week's WI!! YAAAY! it's such a great feeling gettin in those 1's...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

Thanks Krista.
I am having to take my daughter to school this week (hubby usually does) and I was soooo wanting to pull into the donut drive thru this morning. I would often stop by in the past when I take her. It's connected somehow, driving to school and getting a donut. The donut shop is right on the corner and there's no going around it! I'm so glad I'm determined to get to One-derland this week because it's been the strongest urge to "cheat" I've had this whole time I've been committed to losing. I've already been telling myself, "no donuts, no donuts!" in preparation for the morning! |
Hi everyone, Well I gained again, as I knew I would, from two days ago when I over ate. I've been right on track yesterday and today( 1060 cal.) I think I'll start losing tomorrow. I still have 3 lbs. to lose for the challenge. I started using fitday and sparkpeople to count calories 2 days ago, I wanted to see which one was better. I'm not sure yet, I like them both. What do you think???

thanks everybody for your kind words and thoughts!! well i am down a pound so that is good already!! :) just seeing that one pound drop, move closer to my goal, has helped me gain back some of my motivation, I forgot for a bit how exciting it was to see the scale drop!! I'm feeling much better, hoping those vitamins will work, and I can continue successfully on my journey!! no more slacking for me!! :)
jigglefree: how amazing that the dress you worked it to get into is falling off!!! that has to be the biggest motivator ever!!! congrats!!! you definitely have earned it susiearb: oh you totally got the 40 pounds!!! how exciting! i can't wait until you can actually change your avatar too, keep up the good work!! Almost to One-derland!! how exciting!!! I'm very jealous! :) jdonato: 26 days without popl?! good for you!!!!!!!! i've been trying to stay away from pop too but not quite as successful! :) so are you still drinking caffeine or is that completely out too? julessp: congrats!!! how exciting is that?!!! those quiches sound gooooood too!!! mini ones' so you really don't feel that bad then!!! haha great idea! KDM: yes keep up the good work, you are definitely looking amazing!!! and you can definitely see A LOT of change! when i lost my first 50 (before I gained ten back, oops) haha everybody was like oh my god you've lost so much weight, just seeing myself day to day I couldn't tell, I still looked huge. It's a smart idea to do the pictures, I actaully think I might do that too, just for myself to prove that this is really working!! well i am off to exercise before school starts! Wow, that sounds weird to say, I haven't exercised in almost a month, considering my ankle and then mexico...it feels great to be back!! :) Have a good day everybody!! |
:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
I'm doing good today. I tried on a skirt last night but it was not as loose as I would like it to be but by the end of challenge it will be a great fit. I started running and incline walking yesterday and added weight lifting. I feel pretty good about that workout. I may try to stick with it for a while because I was sweating like a pig. Only thing is today I've been extremely hungry. Probably from the intense workout. It usually happens when I run and lift. Farn - A pound is a good start. At that rate, I think you will be the leader of the bandwagon before long!!! Susie - You'll be in onderland this week. I'm so excited for you. I know you are doing this for you but it keeps me motivated and I'm coming up in your footsteps. Jules - I feel you on the post wedding bliss - I had post baby bliss. How bout I lost weight when I was pregnant and hunted it down like a mad dog afterwards so I could see how I liked it. HATE IT!!! JD - Congrats on the no pop. I think that's really good especially if you used to drink it all the time. You doing the dog on thang...hard wood floors, no pop, graduating and working...go on girl! I feel so motivated reading all your successes this week. I got a date with Jillian and 30 Day Shred after work...:woohoo: |
KDM3222: you look wonderful. Thanks for sharing your pictures. Your collage from 195 to 175 helps me to notice how much I have lost because I’m still unable to see a big difference on myself and it may be because I‘m short and I need to lost more weight in order to start to look different. My higher weight was 198.6 and now I’m at 173.6. :congrat: and thanks for sharing.
Farn: I hope your new vitamins will help you. :congrat: for your pound!!! I have not weight change to report today but I’m really happy without seeing a change on the scale because this weekend I traveled to Niagara falls and I have indulged myself and it is amazing to look at the scale and found the same weight than before the trip. It is funny now to remember how afraid I was of using the scale this morning. |
