WTG Susie!
Haven't kept up with this thread for a few days, but just thought I'd check in. Down only about 2 lbs this week. I know that's not bad (better than going up!), but after losing 3 lbs/week pretty consistently since January, it's a little disappointing :( But if my phone app is correct (and it seems to be), I could only eat about 1100 cals/day to keep up that kind of rate at my current weight/calorie needs. Too low for me. Tomorrow's our 10 year anniversary. Going on a little weekend vaca and out to dinner (seafood). I'm going in with a plan calorie-wise, but I'm a little nervous after this week's slowdown. But your 10 year anny only comes once, right? :) My next goal is to lose 2 more lbs by next Thursday (April 1). That A. puts me to my next mini goal (1/4 of the weight I want to lose, gone!), B. puts me in the 230's, and C. keeps me on a good pace for my challenge goal of 230 (kinda hoping for 229.9, but we'll see!) Have a great weekend everyone! |
Oh and WTG ncuneo! 100 lbs, can't wait to join you!
|
Hello everyone, today was a good day, on plan with my eating and i have been really kicking butt with my workouts this week:carrot:. I got a walking partner and we walked for thirty minutes, three days this week which is extra cardio for me,yay! Hopefully it will help with my weight loss!

Jigglefree-Great workouts and high fives on staying on plan!! aluxa-Welcome and good luck! Lori-How are you feeling today girl? Hang in there! Hello to everyone i missed..I will bb tomorrow(hopefully a little lighter;)) |
Thanks to all for your support!! I get no support at home, my husband eats crappy food and doesn't understand what it is like to be fat all your life and my daughter(15yrs. old) barely even speaks to me even though she lost about 35 lbs from eating healthy( she was 11 yrs. old when she started). The doctor told her she had to because she already had high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Dieting and eating healthy foods is something we have in common, but she doesn't want to hear a peep out of me. So thanks again chicks. I gained 3 lbs from that stupid peanut butter yesterday( ate 1 whole jar!), I am not buying it anymore, I don't care who else might want it here. I'm not doin it. I don't feel to good on it, I think I might be getting an intolerance to it along w/ the f.f Reddi Whip (cause I have been eating way too much of it for the past 6mo.) I did good today even though there is one more jar of p.b in the house yet. Honestly, I don't even want it, turns my stomach to think about p.b right now. Had 1030 cal. today, which is the norm for me, I better not gain even more from that evil p.b I had yesterday. Now I have 4 lbs to lose for the challenge.

So, I will be auto loan free come Monday!!! Since I was 18, I've always had car debt!..WELL NOT ANYMORE!! We've worked really hard this last year and a half to pay it off and even with some bumps in the road, we paid it off 2.5 years early! Only one month from when I originally planned it after we started getting serious about becoming debt-free...now we have the hubby's car to deal with...but planning to have it done w/in the next 11-12months...then on to that monsterous student loan! OH MY GOSH!! I had to sign back on before I went to bed...I did the TM after my last post and I upped my speed from 4.6 to 5mph!!! Probably 5min into it, I thought I was getting the dreaded side stitch and told myself I was going to run 3songs, then walk a song....that's when I upped the speed but after I started going faster I felt better (crazy, I KNOW) so I kept running to see if I could go the entire 30min AND I DID!!! THEN, when it was over and I was stretching, I noticed a "1" in the bottom corner of the display and was like "what the heck is that!?!?!" this is also where the Carbs burned flashes (not sure how it calculates that, but anywho) and when I looked closer the 1 stood for Incline (the last coworker must have not reset everything when they were finished)...sooooo, not only did I run at 5mph but also at a 1% INCLINE!!! not much, I know, but it's not zero either which is where I thought I'd always run while on the TM!.....
THEEEEN, I went into the break room to refill my water bottle & I noticed the Dunkin Donuts sittin there and realized I didn't give-in today! They bring donuts EVERY Friday and I usually allow myself 1 and just count the calories in my daily limit....BUT NOT TODAY!! This has maybe happened 3x in the 3.5yrs I've been there!! I started to get one earlier in the shift, but decided against it..then, after I ate dinner, I thought "A glazed donut would be nice for desert" but realized I was full and left the room immediately! haha SOOO, it's been an awesome NSV-filled evening!!!! haha Just had to share.... |
Misspriss78: thank you for the welcome and :goodluck: to you too!
KDM322: Thanks for the welcome. I do not hate my capstone research but I’m worried about it specially because English is my second language. |
Way to go KDM~ & welcome aluxa!!!
I am so hoping the weather reaches 60's here in OHIO today ~I wanna go outside again so badly!(Dang breathing issues are driving me nuts!) Any suggestions for a type of doctor to check my breathing issues for a second opinion? ~I think it may be mold related from the place i lived in 7 years ago when this breathing nightmare problems began! ~let me know suggestions~thanks all in advance ~HUGS TO ALL~HAVE A GREAT DAY ALL! |
Didn't do too good with my calories today. 2200 cal is horrible! I'm going to gain again, I know it. I was down 4 ounces this morning and I'll probably gain it right back, plus more. So I gave the peanut butter and my other leftover binge food to my mom. That way I can't touch it. I am not buying any more of it til I lose this weight. I have to stop, I don't want to go back to being fat again!
|
Lori: thanks for the welcome :) I also have breathing issues, and because of them I have problems enjoying spring.

The detox wasn't what I expected. I had gas and had to pee a lot. Well I'm gonna have to find a different one. My toddler has been working out with me when I do the resistance bands and floor workout. It is so funny. She gets upset if she doesn't get a turn.
Lori - Hopefully you get outside soon. I don't know of a different dr. you can use. Aluxa - Welcome to the challenge. We've been having fun. Fruitlady - Hopefully the peanut butter will not get you again since it's at your mom's house. If your family wants some tell them where to get it. Just don't let it back in the house. KDM - That sounds like a great workout. Usually I feel better when I push myself past my imagined limits. Good Job. Nice Save on the doughnut resistance!! |
I haven't posted in a while so I figured I'd better do it. I am down 2.4lbs. this week. I can't seem to get motivated to start excercising again, but I have been staying on plan with my calories. I have also cut my intake of diet soda waaaay down. I was drinking close to 12 cans a day. Now I am not having more than one a day; I didn't have any today. I have really upped the amount of water I am drinking which is good except that now I have to get up in the middle of the night at least once, sometimes twice!
I hope everyone is doing well. I wasn't on the computer for a couple of days, and I haven't caught up on all of the posts. Hopefully I will have time to do that tomorrow morning. |
The bf and I did great all week with not eating out. We budget us having $15 each for food (aside from groceries) for the week, but we didn't use it until Friday. Friday night we were running around getting an X-Box 360 and instead of fast food or a huge pizza with all the crap, we went to the store picked up a frozen pizza for $3 and got some pringles and beer.....$16 total. I had only 2 peices of pizza, 2 beers, and some pringles.....I allowed myself 200 more calories because I worked that day and I burn alot of calories, you figure retail wouldn't give you exercise....oh it does! The beer was more for him considering last night when I came home from work, there were 6 beers left and I had one(long day at work) and that's it. So out of a 12 pack I had 3 total in 2 days and I didn't want a sip more. And normally saturdays I really blow it, but I didn't, I stayed in my calorie range, which the scaled rewarded me this morning. We didn't eat out we just used what we had in the house which eneded but being amazing, we bbqed a chuck roast, asparagus, and garlic mashpotatoes. mmmmm. So after work today I'm heading to the store for our weekly grocery shopping and have to great meals planned out for the week that are cheap and easy. I'm actually excited about not eating out next week. I was watchin the movie "The pursuit of Happiness" last night and seeing Will Smith's character in that movie feeling like $5 was his entire life...that just made me look at the bf and we both wanted to work harder to keep what we have, and I wanted to bust my buns in school so I can graduate and achieve my goals. If he can do it(the movie's based on a true story) than so can I.
Also it's so weird that I don't have caffein during the day or night anymore. I have my coffee in the morning and that's it...no pops, sugar stuff to keep me away nothing, but I'm not that tired at night still and it's hard to fall asleep...maybe it's just having alot on my mind, but I can't remember the last time I had pop....I guess that's a good thing, but i normally drink diet so it's not the calories im saving. ok enough rambling....sorry.... mkyice: I was right there with you for the diet soda...I would have atleast 6 a day before....nice job cutting back! and congrats on the 2.4lbs! jigglefree: sorry the detox didn't work, I've done many detoxes over the years and have tried so many. I hope you find one that works for you :) That's so cute with your girl working out with you. Thanks for be so supportive on here:hug: aluxa: lol I'm so sorry about capstone....When I heard you say you had a capstone project and you hope to have part of it written.....I thought you were talking about writing code for programming lol....which is why I talked about all the crap I did. I didn't know capstone was a class most colleges have and it can be for different majors. But still after hearing what you have to do...Good Luck! that's alot of work! Lori: I saw the 158.8 on your ticker....look at you miss skinny mini! You are doing great...keep it up! KDM: As my friend would say...you are a "BAMF"!:carrot: Congrats on your workouts and car debt gone. Thanks for your support :) misspriss: I know what you mean and thanks for the congrats. The bf and I agreed to have one date night a week, either Friday or Saturday where we can eat out, but not fast food and we will keep it to a limit $ wise. and that's going to be my higher calorie day too. It will really help. Awesome job on your workouts too! I love your pic that place looks beautiful. Everyone else sorry if I missed you, but I just looked at the time and I have to leave for work in 15min...I hope you guys have a great Sunday and I will post more later :) |
Just checking in. I weighed today and I am now at 222 lbs., 3lbs. losted this week. Which means I need to lose at least 8 more by April 30. I will keep working hard and eating veggies.
