misspriss78 04-11-2010 08:18 AM

Good Morning :coffee2:

Sorry ive been missing in action! I'm pretty sure I have my focus back now. I started a 90 day challenge for myself...started yesterday:) Basically im challenging my self to stay OP for 90days( did it before with great success, lost 23lbs) I will have my usual cheat meal on mondays...but the rest of the time im counting 1600 and doing my workouts.

KD-Can't wait to see your progress pics & awesome job on holding up a stop sign to those donuts. WTG girlfriend:carrot:

Jules-sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday with your horses then a hair cut! Why not go back and get the skirt? I told my DH that when i get to my goal im getting some expensive jeans,LOL

susie-Thank you for you kind words...really means a lot:) I forgot to congratulate you on your inches lost! that is fantastic girl! WTG!

Hello to everyone i missed..time to get breakfast started for the kiddies. Nothing planned today except grocery shopping, blah!

susieyarb 04-11-2010 03:27 PM

Jules: I love hearing about your time with the horses, it sounds wonderful. Also, one of the things I daydream about doing when I get to goal is buying something at Ann Taylor Loft!

susieyarb 04-11-2010 03:29 PM

Krista: Way to go resisting those donuts! That is a weakness of mine as well. You're doing great on your exercise too - keep going. I think alot of us will make our Arbor Day goals!!

susieyarb 04-11-2010 03:31 PM

MissPriss Amelia: Great idea on the 90 day plan! So far I've been able to keep myself OP w/o slip ups. I've had planned splurges, but so far so good for me, but I WILL remember this tactic when I get to that point. You've been at this for a lot longer than I have! You're an inspiration to me when it comes to exercise and losing weight. In saying that, I need to get off my bootie and go sweat!

I Have Missed Y'all!!!

Still having a rough go with my breathing~Trying to hang in here,Sorry for my absence on here. I am doing well on calories as far as weight loss. I weighed 158.0 for the last 2 mornings.which is a new low for me. Also it places me with a 25.9 BMI & I have read it is a normal weightwhen your reach 25 For BMI~So even though its on the upper end of the 25 I am happy with that.

I got 2 new dresses~My hubby gave me the money & told me to get them.~I have added a pic of one of them.(the other is same but in 3 different colors)THEY ARE SOOO COMFY!~One of my sons ~age 12 is calling me hippie! LOL The dresses have speghetti straps but it was a bit chili today outside for me~(Since weight loss I am always cold) So I wore my jean jacket. I Took off my breathing mask(dust mask)~Indoors & my kids took the pic for me~the dresses are size small!I am thrilled about that. Got them from that store I love~for just 4.99 per dress ~I got the orange sandals which u can bearly see cause the dress is long for 2.99 ~They are super nice though. Got another pair of nice black sandals for 2.99 also.~I hope they never close that store cause I love shopping there.I can never get over that everything is new with tags & so cheaply priced!

My doc thinks the high pollen is getting me down & making my asthma act up worse which is causing me sever anxiety attacks & asthma attacks along with allergies all at once~UGHHHH~Anyways hopefully the lung doc will figure it out Or give me some more helpful meds next month when I go to see him.~Looks like y'all have been doing pretty good.I Know some of us have had our ups & downs~But we will get through it! I adore y'all! I missed everyone & If I go missing here in there I am just concentrating on my breathing issues.......there Giving me a heck of a time! I gotta stay as healthy As I can for my family.
OH do not forget
~L@@k At the pic~!just click it to make it big ~I smiled for my kidos! But was feeling kinda lousy...They always brighten my day though As do all of you:D! ~HUGS TO ALL!

Amelia - I'm still thinking about getting that skirt. It was nice... it's just hard to justify spending $40 on a skirt that's only good for casual wear. I can spend that on work clothes but for some reason for casual clothes, I'm much thriftier!

Susie - time with my horse is really my way to relax. That and bad TV! Even when he's a pistol, I relish the challenge and I relax. Ann Taylor is great for work clothes, and AT Loft is good for the more casual stuff - I try very hard not to pay full price for it, though - we have two great AT outlets here in Vegas, and I am a frequent visitor!

Lori - sorry to hear your breathing is still rough. You'd be miserable here today - we are having sustained winds of 30-40mph and gusts up to 70mph. It is HOWLING. Luckily it didn't start til about noon so I got my horse ride in before the weather went completely crazy.

Me - well, I just did the grocery shopping for the week and was wondering how on earth I can spend $65 on just me (as DH is in CA for school). But I realized - I bought almost all fresh food (the processed stuff is canned veggies and beans), I stocked up on canned stuff as it was on sale, I bought coffee which will last three months, and extra virgin olive oil, which will last a couple of months. So it's not like one week of food is $65... oh, and I eat out maybe one meal every two weeks. No Starbucks, no lunches out... so I figured it wasn't actually that bad. Under $10 a day for healthy, tasty food. And now I am watching X-Men Origins - Wolverine, and can I just say Hugh Jackman without clothing is a wonderful sight! :)

fruitlady 04-11-2010 08:19 PM

Lori- Hope your feeling better soon, love your dress! I wish we had a store like that where I live.

I had 1060 cal today. But yesterdays overeating caused me to gain 8 ounces. I don't think I'm done gaining from all that food either. Even though I did good today, the scale will be up again tomorrow!

misspriss78 04-11-2010 09:21 PM

Lori-Your dress looks so summery(is that a word?:?:) I love it..it looks very comfy too! Ive got a dress that is similar in length but is black with a white swirly flower effect going on. Ever since losing weight Im learning to like dresses! Im crossing my fingers that the lung doctor helps you...until then, hang in there and congrats on your new low weight! :getwell:

Jules-Olive oil is expensive isn't it? but it does last a long time! And yes.. Hugh Jackman is a wonderful sight without his shirt..another shirtless stud movie is 300 (about the spartans)

Fruitlady-Good job on your eating today:)

Susie-aww shucks, that is so sweet of you:hug:. Even though ive been doing this a long time i still feel like everything is so new when i start a new challenge for myself:dizzy: most of the time i have to go back and read my food log and see what i was eating when i was losing, Im kinda loopy like that

Hello to everyone:D late check in for me...i got my workout in earlier. I did about 35minutes of some kickbox then 30minutes of yoga. It was a good workout...

i will bb in the am

NorthernExposure 04-11-2010 10:24 PM

Lori-hope you feel better soon! Cute outfit :)

fruitlady-sounds like you're getting right back on track after your "oops" day, good for you!

misspriss-Good luck to you on your challenge! 90 days OP would be great :)

I've had my first OP weekend in several. The last month or so has been hard...St. Patty's Day party, 10 year anniversary, then Easter. Still lost, but weight loss slowed for a couple weeks in there. Last week was better, so I hope to keep that up! Didn't do any "formal" exercise this weekend, but have been busy de-winterizing the RV and doing some much needed closet cleaning. Next weekend it's the garage, shed and downstairs closets. Lots of stuff going to Goodwill or in the trash!

Hope everyone has a great week!
