k I am frusterated with my scale!!!!!! It says I am 175.8, yesterday I was 174.9....the weird thing is the first time i stepped on it it said 174.9 but the 4 other times after it sadi 175.8 and what happened to my 173??? argggg. Tonight I have to go to my sisters dads viewing. I bought makeup last night which is the only good thing thats happened these last couple of days. also there is a HUGE spider at the end of my basement stairs but I need to do laundry for tonight....I get anxiety half way down the stairs stop breathing and have to come back up I am going to look up how to kill big spiders from a distance lol. My fear of spiders completely runs my life. I can't sit in grass under trees without worrying, I have trouble doin gmy laundry (I am WEEKS behind) because its in the basement. I have to check my shower and bathroom 50 thousand times before I will sit down to go or have a shower, I can't clean under the bed without pulling stuff out with a broom (I can't reach my hand under to get stuff) I wake up 3-4x a night and swear there is a spider in the bed, I won't go in my front door if there are spiders around...its really bad and I have no control over it. I am almost willing to go to a hypnotist to get rid of the fear,...but its like 150 bucks a shot and frankly I don't have that kind of money anywyas I am done venting talk to you all later

Good morning, everyone.

Did well, yesterday. Calories were: 1245.

Tinky, Just two days to go! I'll be thinking of you, at the time you are getting married.

Dgrami, we all have easier days or weeks and harder ones. I know I sure do. Hang tough, sister.

irish- I hate spiders but im ok unless i see one. I am worse with snakes..we live in town and im still scared to walk in the garden where you cant see the ground for fear of a snake. Hang in there. We actually get our house sprayed twice a year for spiders...I hardly see any.
rain- good job on the oP day. I am back op today and feel better knowing im not going to give in again anytime soon!!

Irish, my scale automatically first shows the last reading and after a second shows the current reading. I reread the instructions that came with it and it is supposed to do this.

Good Morning my lovely friends! How goes it? Well I am a bit sore from doing my 3.0 mile walk/run. More running than walking...woohoo! Wow, the day after tomorrow everyone! Ahhhhh!

Irish- Girl I feel your pain this week, I am stuck weight wise, but lost some inches. That made me feel better, but the scale was driving me nuts! LOL! Do you ever measure yourself? I am just goint to think that it is my body catching up to my weight loss. My brother is like you, he has a horrible fear of spiders. He also checks things before he does things. I'm sorry sweetie!

Rain- Thank you! Thank You! I will post pictures on here of the big day.

Still- I was contemplating perm. cosmetics for my eyebrows, I have no idea why I was not blessed with them like everyone else in my family, it seemed like it went to my brother. So I draw them on everyday! People love it, but sometimes it's a pain. LOL! DF jokes to me that he hopes our kids get brows, or that it should even out since he has enough for the both of us. LOL!

Dgramie- Ugh snakes......no comment. Ewwww, just shivering at the thought.

GrammyL- WHERE ARE YOU?????????????????????

I just wanted to do a quick post then I will do a post to each of you. Work has been crazy this week. I had $86,000 just disappear from an account here at work. We could tell someone did transfers but the accountant I was working with didn't have answers. Then a few hours later her supervisor revealed what they did. They took and created new account numbers and the only person that knew about the project was out sick that day. I would be to. So that created a trickle down effect of problems and I had to work with our Colleges accountant on how the new rules and regulations for the accounts. Lets say it was a learning experience for both of us because they kept lots of secrets on how things worked before that we didn't know about.

I have to admit I have also been looking at miniature horses, carts, tack and sending thank you's to the people we met at the miniature horse show this last weekend. We learned a lot by asking breeders and people showing questions. We had a good time and unfortunately all those willing to give us lessons live a few hours away. OH WELL! We don't even have a horse trailer anyway. I can't see us body clipping our mini's either. LOL! They shave their fur off to long stubbles in order to show them. Its required, not an option. Didn't God give then fur for a reason? LOL!

I also started TOM. So embarrassed to say, yup, no weight loss for me. I am actually at 176 but I am not changing the 175 because it will go away. I did better than normal this weekend with no reward, just a gain.

Irish ~ What a horrible fear, I can’t imagine fearing something that bad. Well I guess I can something dead, maggots and wounds. Yuppy, can’t touch dead things and even have a hard time walking up to a casket. Maggots just freak me out but there are times I am forced near them like taking the trash to the road, they get on the lid but I freak. Wounds, can’t handle seeing cuts or anything like that. Yup, someone else can deal with it. I instantly get sick to my stomach and come close to passing out. Wish I had the answer for you but I don’t.

Sorry about the scale, isn’t being nice to me either. I want you to move forward because I always stall when I have someone about the same weight as me. LOL! I don’t know what it is about it but I have noticed this happens to me. So get moving girl, stop feeling sorry for me. LOL!

The good news is you got to buy new makeup. I don’t know why but I love buying makeup. LOL! Makes me feel like a new woman and I usually have to put it in right away.

Tinky ~ Tomorrow is the big day. I am so excited for you in so many ways. New body, getting married, new life. WOW! I wish I lived closer so I could sneak in and see it but I am sure you will share photos. XOXOXOXOX!

Just think, at leas you don’t have to pluck your eyebrows. I would rather draw them on then have them taken out. LOL! DD has a uni and has to have them taken off about once a month. OUCH!

Still ~ At least it is a step forward with the work boots. I think the lower cut work boots look great with shorts as long as you let your sock show a little over the top. I know, old school but I still like that style.

Shy ~ Have fun.

Debi ~ It happens to me also and I feel like I am going to go crazy if I don’t eat so I eat. Hunger is usually a good sign your reducing your calories but at the same time your body will do what it takes to feel satisfied. What I do is eat every couple of hours a couple hundred calories and do my best to make sure that something is always going in. There are still days that doesn’t even work .

LOL! Still. We are still young. Young at heart if nothing else. I know your younger than I am, I am 40 but I still don't feel it. I liked that look from the first time I saw it. Rustic and tough.

Hey all,
Well last night was insane. I went to my sisters dads viewing. I am not sure if anyone knows what I traditional italian viewing is but the immediate family (my sister, her 2 sisters (his first children), her grandma, grandpa, and 2 aunts) sit in the first row infron to fthe casket. everybody that attends must go up to the casket kneel on thi slil plateform and either pray or say goodbye. Then you must walk along the front row and give your condolences to each of the immediate family members. Well there are 2 huges things wrong with this... noboyd but ralphs immediate family and very few close friends apparently knew my sister even existed, so here is my sister standing in the front row infront of her dead father finding out she was the familys biggest secret. People were arguing with her saying she wasn't his daughter that he would have told them. Her sisters had to keep arguing with people insisting krystal was there sister. Next my sister is not good at handling death sitting her infront of an open casket for 4 2 hour viewings with a family she doesn't know and we couldn't be up there with her. She is a complete mess and is very hurt and confused. I knew my sisters dad alot better then she does only because he stopped coming around as much when she was about 10 or 11 so I was 16 so I had been around him all the time from for 11 years before he stopped being around. The sad thing about the entire situation was I was jealous I felt so guilty for being jealous but his family was so welcoming of her now. Alot of them are inviting my mom and her over and wanting to keep in touch. My dads family knows I exist yet has no interest in me. Well on aunt I found on facebook wants to meet me. But the rest show no interest in seeing me or my son. Infact its been almost 8 months since I seen my dad. I felt so guilty for being jealous but I couldn't help it. on the other hand I feel terrible for her because she had all this family that her father hid her from and she has no idea why...my mom didn't even know they didn't know about krystal. anyways I am done my vent :P thanks for letting me get it out. Oh and I fixed my spider dilemma I sprayed air freshner on it until I couldn't see it anymore. I think it may have run under the stairs but I don't have to go there so I don't care.

Dgramie: I would love to have my house sprayed for spiders only problem is my inlaws who are also landlords have a rule no insecticides on the grass or in the house. I mean raids ok but they don't want large amounts of commercial bug killer sprayed in the house. My problem is I have an unfinished basement and thats where my laundry is. They love it down there

Bargoo: I will check my intructions and see what I am doing wrong :P

Tinky: I don't have measuring tape or a printer to print one off the computer so no I have never measured myself

Grammy: Omigod I am scared of everything lol. I am scared of the dark but thats all to do with my fear of spiders, I am scared of most bugs (bees, wasps, earwigs, magotts, biting flies, JUNEBUGS!!, etc), I am scared of suffocating so I can't be in a really small space like under a bed or my face being covered with blankets etc and the list goes on. I am not in anyway scared of any animal.. I love snakes etc. I mean if it was a huge wild anima, agressive domestic or poisonous I wouldn't approach it lol but I am not scared of animals. well one of us has to get moving on the scale I seem to keep bouncing back to you so keep moving and maybe I will start again.

Hi, I maintain my weight my Counting Calories too. Mind if I join you?

I've been reading some of the posts, getting aquainted.

We're all afraid of something, it seems. I can squash a spider with my bare (not quite bare, but you get the idea) hands, I'm a nurse, and i can dress a wound and go have lunch, no problem. I'm irish and we still have wakes. Means we bring the dead home and sit with them for a day and night. But, i'm afraid of birds. Terrified is more like it. I think I would actually have an MI if one landed on me. Irrantional sure, but aren't most fears?

Looking forward to talking, and larning from all of you

Freda

Grammy, I am a little younger than you but not much. I am 36! So I am old enough to appreciate a lot!

I have been doing terribly on my diet. I plan to get back on track here quick or I will really lose it.

I think a lot of it is the stress associated with my DD and her lack of final decision on where she will live. I am sure that is taking its tole on me.

Irish-I am sorry you are going through this. My 2 sisters and I barely know our fathers. They have 1 and my father is someone else. So I can feel your pain. ((HUGS))

Hey everyone. Well I basically jumped ship with my diet. It all started with DF's friends throwing us a surprise party at Red Robin (burger joint). I had a wonderful Jamaican Jerk Chicken Burger. It was soooo good, but what i love are their fries. Yum! I also didn't sleep as well, I kept getting up and going....OMG I am getting married tomorrow. LOL! SO I just need to get through the work day, and all will be good. I hope. My good friend here at work is making my bouquet and DF's pin, so I am excited to see what that looks like later.

GrammyL- The day is actually tomorrow. I still need to pluck eyebrows, I have some, but they grow unevenly. I bascially draw in what is missing. LOL!
Of course I will share pictures. We plan on going to the park tomorrow to get our pics taken.

Irish- I am sorry that you guys had a rough time at the wake. Especially your sister. Poor thing. A measuring tape is pretty handy. I didn't have a huge loss this week, but I managed to lose 1/2 inch off my waist. That makes a difference. So, since I started this new plan I lost a good 6 inches off my waist line. That's why I don't always rely on my scale too much.

Slim- I love all the blood and stuff too, but can't stand mucous. Ugh...LOL I can watch surgeries, stitches, transplants, but when I see mucous I'm out the door. LOL Welcome on board BTW....LOL

Still- We were talking about emotional eating on my other board, and man I guess everyone is being affected by it now. I hope all gets better soon!

Irish &Grammy- Looks like I am going to give you guys a chance to catch with me this weeekend. I am offically eating for fun. LOL We have another celebration tonight, plus tomorrow then our mini honey moon over the weekend. LOL So take advantage if you can. I love ya both!
