Irish- Hey I am on spark too, look me up, it's the same name as here.
Tinky009 , you can see my progress pics there. LOL! Yeah I know this wedding will go by fast, because we're doing it Civil style, so I will cherish all the little moments, then next year when we re-new our vows in front of all our family we'll capture another moment. LOL! I sound like a freaking Hallmark card. LOL! Your upcoming trip sounds like a lot of fun. I have never been over that way. And Marineland sounds even better. I love Dolphins too.

Rain- I wish I had them make a copy of that application because compared to the one we did at home, they look like night and day. LOL! I was very shaky, and couldn't even remember to write in my birthdate.

GrammyL- I am ready, we've been together, 8 years this year, so it's about time. LOL! I had such a goofy grin walking out the building. I even tried on my wedding band, its a bit loose, but it's gorgeous. I hope you have a great weekend. I know I am trying to stay on plan, I sabotaged my last weekend.
Besides, I gotta give you and Irish a good chase. LOL!

Grammy- We are excited about the move! We learned that we are not small town people, so it's going to be nice to live in a city again. Thankfully we are all done with the packing. We moved everything down to CA and put it in storage until we are reading to move to NM. We're just visiting family and hanging out right now. I can't wait until I have my own kitchen again!

Tinky- I keep hearing about the green chilis. I'm not much for burgers, but I'm going to love the whole chili on everything.

Rain Dancer- Thanks! I hoping all is out in the open once we are back from the Bay.

well things are moving slower then I though I only lost 4lbs this week...and I think it may be only two because I weighed myself at night then in the morning so I think I started at 179 really. It sucks to be moving through weight I already lost so slowly. Oh well. I am gonna try cutting my carbs a bit maybe...anything to give me a bit of boost at least get me to the 172 I was before my "time off" anyways

stilltryin: wow you are sooo close to your goal!!!! and that lil 3lb weight gain didn't affect you at all!!!! your doing great

Tinky: no fair you get two weddings lol!!! I am excited about niagara I think we are going to have a blast. the awesome yet scary thing for me is after I get back we go to the exhibition which is a huge fair with tons of outlets for places like suzy shier and stitches. All the clothes in stitches are buy one get 2 free. Every year I have trouble finding things that fit I had hoped this year would be different but I am not sure! I need to work my but off I have less then a month!!!

Irish, have a great time!

Still, good for you, getting the vaca pounds off so well. I know how you feel about your computer. I hate sharing my laptop. I almost want to growl and hide it away when my husband or son want to use it. I don't know if it is coming off like water... I am wary of the scale. But I am liking how I am feeling and the changes I see in my body.

Yesterday I had a hongry (there is hungry... then there is hongry) day and fed myself sensibly through it. Calories ended up a little higher than I like, but still very nicely within plan at 1465. Rather than a feeding frenzy or a binge, I just ate plenty of healthy food and let my body lead where it needed to go. I was very happy to end the day having not allowed myself to spiral out of control and do something that could have really hurt me or at the very least, left me feeling like crap.

I hope that everyone has a terrific weekend.

I might try to brave the scale. Or I might not. Right now, the mere thought of it fills me with utter panic.

I think I need to get over myself.

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

Did a good job, yesterday. I am pleased with myself. I came in at 1267 calories. A few over my target number, but not enough to get all wrought up about. Drank my water and got a little exercise.

I still fear the scale. But, I look and feel smaller, today. I noticed, when I looked in the mirror (something I don't do, often) that I look a little more narrow than I did. My clothes are a little looser, as well. So, it's all good.

Irish ~ I always feel great after exercise. I think it gets the blood moving and we realize its going to take us the direction we want which is a healthier life. There is nothing wrong with setting your goals high, it makes you reach. My goal is 173 but hoping for 172.

Good morning, counting chicks.

I had a good day, yesterday. Came in at 1216 calories. Kind of had to snack my way down the home stretch... Just wasn't in the meal-eating mood, yesterday. But I still managed to get nutrition and plenty of protein, so I think it is okay.

Gah! It's early and my brain is still numb. Have a great Monday, everyone.

Rain ~ GOOD JOB! Very good job. Those days are so hard but who knows, maybe you needed a few extra cals.

Still ~ That is fantastic news about the weight. See, you can do it and you did a great job. You know, thank you, I do appreciate all that I have in life. Its not for everyone but I appreciate each and every wonderful thing in my life. Thanks!

Zenor ~ I always went crazy not having my "stuff" around me and privacy. There have been times in my life where all my things were in storage and I hated it. Oddly enough, I felt incomplete and displaced. I sure hope you find a place soon and enjoy CA. Hope your not in any of the fire zones. How horrible.

Irish ~ 4 lbs is nothing to sneeze at and you should pat yourself on the back. Look at the big picture, if you lose 4 lbs a week, when will you be at goal? I tell you I would be happy with 4 lbs a week because that means only 11 more weeks and I would be 1 lb away from my goal. I know its hard to see that weight you were at but it appears you are beating yourself up for gaining and that is counter productive. Be excited about how far you have come and look at where you are headed. You can do this!

Tinky ~ 8 years, WOW! I think I would be ready myself. We waited 3 years to get married because I was reluctant because of a bad first marriage. DH finally laid it on the line and said this is the last time I am asking you. LOL! I said OK. HAHAHAHA!

My GF funeral was beautiful and the plot her DH picked out perfect. I cried all the way through it and later that night went and got my nose pierced. I know strange but when I feel great pain I seem to do something odd like that.

My ear piercings all mean something to me. First ones were just because after years of begging my Dad let my Sis and I get them. The second set when I graduated from high school. The third set when I got married the second time. Then the upper year, the first when when second DH left me then the second one was when he came back. Nose when I lost by best friend that I considered a Sis. I have a tattoo to celebrate my first GS birth. Need to have the second GS name put on yet but haven't take the time to do it. The main tattoo is a baby dragon and then I want to put my grandchildrens names around it to form a circle. I think I want to wait until my youngest has hers and then do the rest all at once. Could be I am just a chicken. LOL!

Went to see "Step Brothers" and it was SOOOOO funny. It was nothing a child should see because it has lots of bad language and inappropriate behavior but it was good. There were times I had tears in my eyes. The good news is I was able to resist DH eating movie theater stuff. It took about 15 minutes before the smell wasn't calling me anymore but it finally went away.

well down to 176 which mean I only have to lose 4 lbs again this week to be at my weight I was before my minor set back I bought fresh raspberries yesterday and they are sooo good. I also bought dempsters bodywise bread and its low carb and low cal only 90 cal for two slices. I have been trying to eat vegetables with every meal as well. Yesterday I had a chicken salad sandwich for lunch, and my dinner was oven roasted chicken deli meat (low fat), tomato, lettuce, fat free cheese all on dempsters bodywise bread and dessert was raspberries in a bowl with 1% milk and a lil bit of sugar lol I think I am going to have cucumber and low fat cream cheese sandwich for lunch today. I am also making a collage today of al the clothes I like out of the sears catalogue so I have something to look forward too. I am aiming for goal weight by my birthday (december 31) of this year. I think its fitting considering I started this 2 days after my birthday this year and new years is all about new starts right. I am going to pick out a birthday dress that I want to wear that day as well.

Grammy: I think I have the same "problem" you do when I have something bad happen I always used to get a piercing or dye my hair or buy an animal. In the end I ended up with piercings in my nose, ears, navel, lip and tongue, 2 tattoos, 4 hampsters and hair that has ranged from black to pink. I have learned to deal with tings a lil different now because my hubby hates piercings (mine are all gone except 2 in each ear), tatoos (I am still getting more muahaha) and doesn't want an animal right now lol

Rain: I have an addiction to the scale every morning I go to the bathroom, then I strip naked in my front hall because its the only flat surface in the house (I pray no one has been looking in) and weigh myself 3x to be sure its the right weight lol. But weighing myself keeps me motivated and in check I guess

Hey peeps! I am glad it's Monday again. Today, my friends at work are throwing me a Bridal Shower. So I am eating quite light, so that way if all goes in my favor it will work out evenly later. LOL!
I had a pretty yucky weekend, I got sick, with a cold, but now it's gone, then I got hit with a stomach bug, I was not feeling too great! Let me tell ya~

GrammyL- I do some extreme things in the case of grief too. But, in a way that's good for you because all those things have a significant meaning. You know this morning my friend told me that I really need to go see Step Brothers too! She said she laughed so hard she cried. I think I need a bit of a pick me upper too. I have been feeling a bit down. I love the smell when I walk into the movies too. But then I go...hmmm....butter and popcorn all goes to my waist, so no thanks. LOL!

Irish- Yeah losing 4 lbs is nothing to just pass by. That is quite a lot. And look where you're at now. Keep up the awesome work! What an awesome idea, to make a collage..I online browse. So far it has helped me.
I am scale-a-holic. I weigh myself through out the day if I get a chance. I love to see the different fluctuations.

Well I gotta get going. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Tinky ~ Doesn't look like you did to bad yourself. WHOHOO! Sorry to hear you got a double whammy over the weekend. GEEZ. At least its all over with and you can enjoy your shower today. That movie is great and I thought I was going to pee my pants a few time because the things they were doing are right up my alley as funny and they did it so well. Was well worth the money and fighting the urge to eat popcorn.

Irish ~ Great job and I should aim for the same and I could really be close to the 65 lb marker again. HMMMM! I should aim high, 4 lbs would be 171 for me. The lowest I have ever been is 169 so I would be close to my lowest weight since before my first child was born. LOL! She is 21 now, 21 years to lose the baby fat. WOW!

I am raising my had, scale-a-holic hear. Drives my family insane but I tell them that is how I stay on track. What ever I weigh when I get home from work, I can take off 3 lbs from that number and that is what I weigh the next morning. That is how long I have been doing this. LOL!

Irish ~ My DH has been trying to get me to do this for a couple of years. It just felt like the time was right. I have always, since a child, thought woman from India were so beautiful with their noses pierced and wanted to do mine but my Dad is old school. Now its the rage and I followed suit. Wouldn't want to be left out.
