Oooh, I want the code too please.

And not to be petty, but who keeps giving our thread 3 stars, when the blue team's thread is a five star???? I don't see anything wrong w/ our thread.

Anyone get to the point where you have had so many temptations in one day that you just end up giving in? I was doing great until 8:30 last night... and then got really frustrated with a table I had and annoyed with someone I work with... so... I ordered fried cheese raviolis... which surprised me when I discovered that as bad for you as they are (a little over 1 WW pt. per ravioli)... they aren't as bad as I thought they would be... if that makes any sense...

wtg Shari on getting food in the house that matches - i know that feeling....until i got to the store yesterday - i had PB and NO bread...lol so couldnt make quick lunches, i hate cooking lunch for just myself (DS is picky about stuff like that)...lol and good luck today on the school/job front. You'll do great

I'm down .2 lbs after yesterday.....maybe it's all the water i drank?!?!

Kim - yes i do understand the feeling...i thought i was having a great day yesterday - had a good healthy, hearty breakfast - then we had mcD's for an early dinner at walmart while we were there getting groceries....and i got some healthy snacks for me (tried that Activia smoothie - yummy, and got some FiberOne yogurt).....but i bought chocolate (king size) at the shoppette (convienence store on post) - and was already over my calories for the day, then BL came on....and i started snacking (i know-should be the opposite effect, right??). had 2 servings of almonds, an Activia smoothie, plus the king size kit kat. but i only have one can of pibb zero and over 100 oz of water....so maybe the water helped to flush some out for the .2 loss today. plus i didnt have the chance to workout. but walking walmart for over 2 hours wth the kids (one in the buggy)....did some exercise i guess?

today, i plan to do better. have to go do an errand before DS has his speech appt. then we'll come home for lunch (and hopefully his nap). and i plan to workout. i have food in the house now, so will plan my lunch. and i got a big can of almonds - since they're healthy (that mono something or other) lol and plan to put a serving into snack ziplock bags - so i can grab n go instead of sitting down with the whole can.
i did like the activia smoothies (i never bought the smoothie yogurts before, so was pleasantly surprised at how yummy it was). So i intend to stop by the commissary on the way home to buy more to give me enough till the next payday

well i need to go eat breakfast before we head out for our morning activities....didnt mean to ramble so long. lol

Hey ladies. I feel ya on things getting hard at the end of a long day. I can't tell you how close I was to ordering pizza last night! I just didn't feel like thawing and making chicken, AGAIN. I ended up settling for an in-between. Spinache pasta with a garlic-tomatoe sauce. I wan't as healthy as the chicken would have been but a **** of a lot better for me than pizza. I just gained SO much over the holiday, I really can't afford to allow myself the little splurges that I normally do. Once I get back down to 241, maybe I can do the occassional slice of pizza again.

Shari- Congrats! It sounds like things are really coming together for you.

Monte- I'd love the code, please.

Aclai-Me too! I was SO ready to give in to pizza last night. I had an afternoon of unpleasantness (locked my keys in my van, etc.) and did NOT feel like cooking my healthy planned supper. Pizza sounded SOOOOOO good, but I resisted the urge and went home and made the planned meal and felt VERY glad that I finally resisted temptation. I had gotten into the bad habit over Christmas week of giving in to it!

KimL-Been there! It's tough when you're sort of bombarded. That's how some of the holidays were for me. I'd behave for part of a day then splurge at the end. At least it wasn't totally horrible for you. Just carry some emergency food with you if you can (like healthy granola bars or fresh fruit) so you can turn to that when you want to eat junk. It works (sometimes)!

Today I saw a nice bump down on the scale, though I still have exactly 2 pounds to get back to sign-up weight. I definitely should have revised that baby right after Christmas. I wasn't thinking about it. Anyway, I'll get there with more good food choices and less "splurging". The stupid cookies my MIL bought are gone or frozen which helps tremendously.

I see we're up to 4 starts...I'm off to bump it up!

Hi everyone! I watched the premiere of TBL last night. So I'm glad to have this challenge. My goal weight is about 40 pounds from my CW. I really hope to shed the pounds for good this year!

Oh thank you! Ahhh, it's not so bad~ I don't have a very good relationship with my mother, so what she says to me doesn't mean much~ It hurt once, but now...well being able to prove her wrong will just be an added extra Thank you very much for your concern though~!

Tamara-You could do some of the nautilus equipment. They usually have some guide on them as to which muscle groups you're working and you could shoot to hit each major muscle group 2x per week (at least one full rest day in between). I use free weights and a book called 101 ways to Work Out with Weights. The abs could just be doing crunches and planks or some other move you prefer. Mine is included in my weights workout and in the 30DayShred dvd I do twice a week. You can always find dvd's that focus on strength or abs also. There are MANY options.

I know everyone wants the Red Team marker to use as their own but it will drive me crazy every time I see if I dont say something now. It is NOT legible! If I didnt already know what it was SUPPOSED to say, I wouldnt be able to read it. Yes it is pretty...but it isn't functional. It was nice of the Blue Team leader to create it for us. Is there anyway it can be edited before alot of people start using it?

Sorry to be so picky but I had to say something.

What is it with these pizza cravings? I have had one for a few days that just will not go away! I think I may have to see if a Lean Cuisine or Smart Ones pizza will hit the spot.
