RED TEAM "BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS" BOOST CHALLENGE - Week 1 (1/8-1/10)

  • Ok ladies, it is getting down to the wire, and we want to sqeeze in some extra fat burning before our weigh in....can't have the Blue Team beating us right out of the gate! So here is an extra challenge to push us just a bit further!

    This challenge runs through Friday-Sunday, so you have 3 days to complete these exercises (feel free to start early if you like!).

    1. 50 squats
    2. 50 jumping jacks
    3. 5 planks (let see how long we can hold these!)
    4. 50 walking lunges (I dare you to do these in public )
    5. 100 crunches
    6. 50 kicks

    If you're not sure how to do any of these exercise, let me know and I'll try and find some explanations.

    Winter Blues Bonus - I know with it being freezing cold and everything people are going to staying indoors and snuggling by the fire ( ) but we can't be lazy just because it is cold. So I'm challenging you to get up and move every hour. You don't have to do any specific exercise, just move, even if it is just to walk to the kitchen to refill your water bottle.

  • Down. Okay for the kicks are we doing the high kicks straight out in front of you (keeping the torso upright) or are we doing a more martial arts style kick to the side (torso diagonal)?

    You can do any kind of kicks you like; donkey, frog, side kicks, front, back, lunge with kick, butt kicks, whatever.....mix and match! Just have fun with it!!
  • Okay, I was wondering if it'd be cheating to do some of it today. Today is my strength day and it would work out best to get certain parts done today since I try to get the muscles a good rest btw strength days. Hope I'm not being a pain!

  • I def need some extra intentional moving....i like that these I can do while watching tv....which i could Wii and watch tv at the same time. LOL
