My old scale has been showing losses the whole time!

Anyways, my new scale is now weighing me at a loss!!! And on top of that at my dr. appointment their scale weighed my at 245!! that's a 27 lb loss from my highest weight!!

good luck ladies, soo you tomorrow for the weigh in!
Congrats! I'm glad things ended up working out.

Shan - I'm right there with you! I've been doing so well this week and this morning I was actually UP a pound... Hopefully it's just water. Keep up the good work, everyone says it will pay off.

tricia: idk what plan you're on, but usually for me a day with more fresh fruit helps out a lot. and our family doc says to try anything that starts with P, pineapple, peaches, pears, prunes, plums all can make you poop.

i finally put DS's train table together tonight...took me about 2.5 hours (with the kids help, which we all know usually isnt much help at all) LOL so might consider that i did a work out today at least strength training part - since i was using a manual screwdriver to do all the screws, etc to get it together....i'll probbaly feel that in my arms tomorrow morning. lol course i feel my back pain already. but seeing him so happy and playing with it makes it all worth it. if i wasnt so busy putting it together, i would have taken pics of him and emailed them to my daddy (who bought him the table and train set for christmas) lol
i'm hurting...i see my flexeril (sp?) in my near future, after the kids go to bed.

I know tomorrow its gonna hurt.. I don't think I will do the entire program 6 days a week.. we shall see how i am feeling tomorrow if i can handle it..

Does anyone use that dvd and wear those calorie/heart rate monitor thingy's on the arm. I track my exercise in sparkpeople and i have no idea what the possible calorie count is for that but i assume its alot...

I think a trip to walmart is needed tomorrow.. LOL

Thats hilarious.. i should use that one with my patients... I can only have 3 fruit servings on my plan... but that might need to be switched up.. its funny because before starting HM the doctor thought I had celiac or crohn's cuz i couldn't get out of the bathroom..

I bought the LCW dvd last week. i did it on Monday. and am still a bit sore. lol she kicked my butt (and abs) LOL I do wear a HRM, the kind with the chest strap. and i love it - i workout more with it cuz i hate not knowing how many cal i burn when i'm not wearing it.
the cal burn varies based on how hard you pushed yourself and how much you weigh. I weigh about 147, but my HRM is set up for 148 lbs....so when i did it on monday for 40 minutes and burned about 450 calories (I did W1D1 - Monday).

hey everyone, sorry i havent had chance to catch up last couple of days, I was made redundant yesterday and because of this ****ing government we have, they only have to give me 2 weeks notice instead of a month. Plus this was the job I was going to work full time for starting in March, which is not going to happen now. So i've been running around like a bit of a headless chicken trying to get things lined up again. Then this morning my cat threw up her breakfast for me to find (or someone elses cat snook in and ate her food then it disagreed with her, they do tend to come through the catflap and steal her food sometimes) and I found a flea on her, despite being deflea-ed on the 4th of Jan! God freaking dammit. But I have been on track eating wise, I think I am doing well. Hope everyone else is doing ok!

girls!

So my WI was Thursday and I gained like 5 lbs (sorry guys!). No sleep, no vitamins, no water, and crap food will do that. I'm SO happy I got this job, for other reason besides the obvious money part. Not only will I be forced to regulate my sleep habits, my eating will have to be in check too. I mean, if I'm asleep, I can't be eating right? I need to find something to help me on the nights I can't sleep. And I've already decided to ban myself from the vending machines at work. All snacks/food will be brought from home! Along with my water bottle.

I woke up yesterday with a massive headache and I just knew it was from lack of water and nutrients. So I put a full glass of water in the fridge along with a gallon of water. That way, everytime I open the fridge, I see a glass of water waiting for me.

This weekend is grocery shopping and hopefully movie night with Susie.

I found out that my friend Cat not only got the job too but she's also in my training class! It'll be nice to have someone to help pass the time with.

I got a invite to tour the local Y and I went today. Have I told you guys how much I hate Bally's? Cause I do. Alot. So I went and it was really nice there! And so relaxing. The only downside: no steam room. But they have a rock climbing wall! I've never been rock climbing before. And the staff is SUPER nice! I'm going to join as soon as I get my first paycheck. I get 20% off with their scholarship and I might get more off when I start school. Oooooo, they have ZUMBA! I'm so psyched!

hmmm, I guess that's it for today.

Medina...you had me laugh out loud (LOL) hahaha about the "P" fruits to help you poop! I LOVE that! I do believe it about the peaches cause I ate too many ripe peaches once as a kid and it wasnt pretty! LOL!

Well, I've lost a few more pounds since the first three this week.....will do the official weigh in tomorrow! Let's go RED TEAM and stay on plan!

We wanna look better and feel better for 2010 right? Take a multivitamin daily and drink your water...watch those foods and get some exercise...even walking is good! It's time for a new life!

Well WI was today as well and I lost 1.6 pounds but hey I will take it - I have not been eating totally OP and haven't been able to exercise one bit since middle of last week when I was taken off my foot- it still hurts so DR said yesterday to stay off as much as I possibly can again
To top it off have been sick this week so when I seen DR yesterday it is bronchitis and it is kicking my butt

LOL on the P's for fruit as well

Shari that is great that you are impressed with your local Y it seems they have alot to offer as well - oh and that you have a friend to go through training with at your new job

Tricia all BL workouts kick my butt and I am always sore after doing them for at least a day or 2 but you sure can tell you are getting a workout

Mandey great job on getting the table and train put together I bet your DS is so excited about it

Well I think I am going to go back to bed for a bit like I said this crap is kicking my butt and need it to be gone in like less than 10 days

Posted my morning weight this morning, thank goodness I took off the 3 lbs I put on after posting my starting weight on Dec 29. Whew! Petrified I will go off plan for the week-end...another reason I posted it today instead of tomorrow.
Plan on finally moving my TBL ticker next week!

I'll get my blood, sweat and tears in today, some house cleaning and grocery shopping. Maybe a movie tonight.

Have a great weekend team!

Jasonslea- I hated Balleys too. They ripped me off! I'm at the Y now and love it (REALLY love the scholarship). The one I'm at has a steam room but no rock climbing wall (that sounds way cooler). Good luck with the new job. I feel ya about it being easier to eat right when you have a schedule.

chopperchick- hope you feel better soon!

I'm suuuuuper excited today because weigh-in went awesome!!!! I lost back my (huge) Christmas gain and then some for a loss of 9.8 this week and 12.2 total for the challenge so far! Great week!
