Yep, you're right Kim. No need to get stressed.

Francie -

Amy - Thanks for the note. I've been going to the same meeting Thursday nights for a year now. While I know afternoon weight is higher and is influenced by the specific day that one is having what they're eating etc, it's been fairly accurate for me so far. It's really not that big of a deal in & of itself. Coupled with everything it just felt... blargh.

---

Gah, today I got up late but made it to work on time. Got little sleep last night, but it's Friday! (woohoo) I look forward to my work outs on Fridays because hardly anyone is in the gym, and I usually feel relaxed enough to push for a couple extra minutes sometimes.

Have a great day everyone!

I had the testing done back in December, and I was at 29.2% (still obese, but getting close to 25% which is acceptable). 14-17% is considered fit.

I don't know about "neat". Number 1 someone (in my case a college girl) will see you in all your glory. You get fitted wit a very heavy belt. After you get hoisted on a chair above water, you are too curl into a fetal position (dunking part)...completely blow out your lungs. A weight is taken. Doing this 3 times will get the average weight

Fresno - Okay maybe not "neat" then But, well, it does sound like quite an experience. And it must be nice to have an accurate %!

good morning everyone!!

I just wanted to check in (i'm getting ready for work... really. i am.) and let everyone know that i DID IT!!!
I did week 3, day one of c25k with the 3 minute runs without stopping ONCE!
..and it's wet and kind of rainy and cold out this am and i almost didn't go but i made myself (if the cat doesn't want to go out why should i? lol) and i'm so glad i did. I always feel so much better and more up after exercising, and doing something i didn't think i could do makes it so much better..

Congratulations!!! Great job!! I love that feeling of accomplishment when you push yourself beyond what you thought you could (or wanted!) to do!

When I read this I figured a "Chi straightener" was some sort of Chinese tool meant to fix the chi energy in your body. LOL.

I hope the health concerns are nothing too major! Hang in there, stress can really throw you out of whack!

Vix - Im so sorry for your loss.

Good morning Blue's. Its yucky and rainy here today. My foot is still really swollen and sore from last night's standing (I have arthritis in it and its acting up). Im trying to stay off of it as much as I can today because I have to work tonight again. So, no going to the gym today. Im pretty bummed about the whole thing.

So its may, I dont really like may. My mom died in May - 8 years ago. It's a hard month.

So Im having a down day because of a couple things but I will NOT let that stop me from having an OP day.

Just wanted to check in for the morning. I havent read to catch up at all. I'm just not feeling right today. I got queezy while exercising this morning, and just couldn't go on, I thought maybe I was exceptionally hungry.. but honestly I wasn't hungry at all. I ate and still feel icky. Man I hope it's a fluke... I have a habbit of getting pregnant in April... I have 3 Christmas babies! I don't even know for sure when TOM is due, we quit trying last year and I quit keeping good tabs on those things.

I'm sorry, you are having a rough day and a rough month too. Good for you committing to being on plan, because extra junk food certainly won't help you to feel better. We're here for you, hang in there!

Francie -

Dora - You have a husband... that's an animal/child enough for me! I want to get starting making jewelry but when I go into walmart it always seems like theres soo much to buy to get started.

Vix -

Fae - No fear! I've seen it all... and lemme tell you a .2 gain in the first week is not the worst of it.

Cindy -

Fresno - I've never heard of readings being taken like that. When I was a member at Ballys they did a body fat % test but it was a little hand held machine and I had to stand completely still for a few mins. though! Hope you are close to your goal!

Karen - for running! I'm so not even close!

Kelly - I'll have to research what you're talking about. Maybe they are in a tizzy cause we talked bad about the red cheerleader. We just have to play nice so no one gets their feelers hurt

Sommer - My goodness woman! You trying to make an army with all those babies!

Dee - I'm just starting Volume 1 today now that invoicing is over!

Me Time!

So yesterday I ended up going to class for all of an hour, just to be informed that we are doing a potluck on Tuesday for my teacher who just lost his grandfather last week. So he comes back from Indiana next week and we have a card and a potluck planned for him. I got stuck with dessert... which before I was OP I made cupcakes for the last party and these 2 girls have been begging me for them ever since. But since its nice outside I wanted a cool spring dessert so I said I'd bring something that I could make with Splenda and could control the calories of. I'm going to make a chocolate chip cookie bottom, with a sugar and fat free pudding center and light cool whip on the top. Easy, and I can control the calories. I probably won't eat any of their food, just because I'm not going to bust my diet I've worked so hard for to save face with my school friends.

I went to BJ's last night to get some groceries with my hubby who has a card. I thought I could use my bank card there to pay for groceries, but it turns out I can't because I'm not a member, only Daniel is. So we put some stuff back. We ended up with a huge package of 93% lean hamburger, 12 chicken breasts, a huge package of reduced fat Italian sausage, and a 36 pack of 100 calorie packs for $46. Out of all that meat I can make 17 main meals and I still have $74 to spend on whatever else we need.

I was really proud of myself last night because when we left BJ's Daniel was all like, "Do you want to go home and cook or just go to Arbys?" And I said "I'm not making you pay $5 for a sandwich and I can only eat the chicken and tomato and lettuce. You can stop at Arby's if thats what you want... but I'm going home to cook." and thats what I did

Anna - I told my hubby about the life insurance thing. While I thought it would knock some sense into him, he simply said "I'm glad. God forbid something happen to me I'd want you to be able to pay off the house."

That really backfired didn't it?
