Way to go Ceegee on size 8! Its a wonderful feeling to actually see the benefits from all this hard work you've been doing.

ggmugsy-your husband sounds like a wonderful man.

Vanetta-I think you'll like calorie counting. I've been counting since August of last year and wouldn't do it any other way. Are you gonna use a free website to track your calories?

Cait-You're doing great on your running, keep up the hard work.

Dea-Way to go on reevaluating your plan and setting goals for yourself. I need to do the same.

Well, we definitely had a rough week in the weigh in department, myself included I took my last freebie I was up 3 lbs but so far I'm doing good this week. I've almost lost that gain and hope to squeeze out a few more for this weeks weigh in. I'm a lil bummed with myself. I was hoping to be outta the 180's this challenge and before I went on vacation. It doesn't look like thats gonna happen. I know its nobodys fault but my own. I'm gonna have to get aggressive this next challenge and focus on my goals a little more.

Everyone have a wonderful day!

April Exercise Goal:40/1500 minutes
0/35 miles

Good for you Ceegee, I would definitely forget to take the tags off.

I think when I get to goal, I'd like to walk buck nekked thru the frozen food section at the grocery yelling "LOOK at me"!

WooooHoooo Ceegee! That's awesome! I can't wait to be a size 8 again!!!

Thanks for worrying about me girls, but I am ok. The hip situation has made me moody. I LOVE to exercise and I seriously get emotional when I can't do it... TOM showed up a week EARLY today, so I guess I had me some pms and wasn't aware of it, lol! Anywho, I still have a bump on the hip but after a few days rest, it doesn't hurt "as bad". I think I'm gonna go do my Yoga class this morning and if it doesn't hurt, hop in the TM. After ward's I am going to have it looked at. Every since Bob had the guys do Yoga last night on TBL, I've missed it. That was a good show last night, but I was sad to see Jay go. I do think that his bro Mark is a better man because of his experience, but my goodness, he's turned into a bit of a cry baby...geeeez. I used to not be able to handle it when men cry...I'd cry too, but I think Mark has desensitized me, lol! How about that dude from the Austrailia show? OMG! He was HOT!!!!

The power of acceptance

"It is permissible to take life's blessings with both hands provided thou dost know thyself prepared in the opposite event to take them just as gladly. This applies to food and friends and kindred, to anything God gives and takes away... As long as God is satisfied do thou rest content. If he is pleased to want something else of thee, still rest content."

-- Meister Eckhart

Our life begins to change in magical ways when we open to the experience of life AS IT IS. With acceptance, we stop fighting what is happening. And this creates space, an opening for new relationships to unfold.

Explore unconditionally saying yes to the facts of life. Accept your past and where you are now. Unconditional acceptance is unconditional love and this is healing.

"Sometimes what seems like surrender isn't surrender at all. It's about what's going on in our hearts. About seeing clearly the way life is and accepting it and being true to it, whatever the pain, because the pain of not being true to it is far, far greater."

-- Nicholas Evans

awww....thanks guys!! I can't even tell you how psyched I am. I haven't been excited about buying clothes in years. Before when I would go shopping I would have to force myself to go, and then I would not be happy about my purchases. I believe for the past 2 years I have had 3 pairs of black dress pants that fit me, bc I didn't want to "waste" money on any more big pants.

Lately I have become a shopping vixen, lol! It really helps to see the results. First I was down to a 12, then 10 for a long time, and now I can fit into some 8's. DH wondered why I was buying so many clothes before I was at goal, and I told him I really think that buying the outfits was HELPING me get there. I feel great getting up and have a selection of clothes I like to wear. I don't ever want to lose that feeling again!

Dea 5:30am!!!!! Holy crap, I have tried and tried to be a morning person and can't do it. What is the secret?????

Cait great job on the c25k!

ggmugsy okay, we will let your DH on the beach....but he has to promise to bring drinks to everyone and not just you!

Sally way to go on the loss! Love the new hair!

Diva I missed that your hip hurts....awwww! I have to agree with you about all the man crying....at first I thought it was sweet. Now it makes me laugh, lol. I don't know why I find it amusing, but I do.

Dream Just keep at it....that right there is success!

motherMavis Is there a reason it is going to be in the frozen food section?? I think I would pick produce, lol!!!

Morning Vanetta, Reda, bojooki, and everyone!!!

on the size 8's! The only time I was ever in size 8's was on my way up to size 26's...lol. I am now in size 16's. The last time I was in size 16's was more than 6 years ago. I just hope to keep going downward.

I was an aboslute...... well...... moron on weigh-in day. After I posted the reminder on here - I forgot to go and update my weight - so I had to take my last freebie. Here's hoping I don't forget to weigh in this week. That would suck to be out of the challenge because I forgot to weigh-in on the last week.

Well... I'm off to do accounting again.....

lol ceegee.... yes, I am a photog. However, I am in school for Business (so I can learn how to actually run a business). So, accounting is part of that. I don't think I could just study accounting for the purpose of being an accountant. Althought it's interesting to me and I'm managing to keep an A in the class (so far) - it's been spanking me hard lately...lol

Afternoon All....
It sounds like everyone is well...at least I hope so.

I always found accounting class interesting as it appeared that there is a way to change whatever number you come up depending on how you really wanted it to look. Too grey for me....so naturally (she says sarcastically), I have made a career for myself in Info Technology.
Have you ever had such a bad attitude about your job that your one goal each day is to still be employed when you get home from work? That is exactly where I am now. Too much drama...I am going to move my desk next to the wall so I have a constant place to bang my head.

OK...shaking that off...the good news is that I am not diving into the snacks because of all the frustration.

Oh yeah...why is it that your parents think that you want to here the obituaries when you call? Being the bad daughter that lives 3,000 miles away, I started calling my mom everyday after my dad died (I figure it's the least I can do, my sister only lives two miles away and is called on to do many tasks that I can't possibly do from here). Anyway, lately all I get is the death notices....HURRY UP SPRING....all the gloominess is bringing my mom down. God love her.

OK...shaking that off.

About that frozen food section thing.....brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I too am surprisingly ok with clothes shopping again. Mind you, I am only willing to go to the outlet mall (Vanity Fair/VF), but until I hit goal I'm not going to spend more than $15 for a pair of jeans.

I don't think I am going to do an online calorie counter thing...I can't figure out how to keep up with something like that. Do you keep a list of the foods you eat and the activities you do and then enter them at the end of the day or something? I guess I really don't know which ones are out there...any suggestions?

Yep, I'm coming back for the next round of TBL Challenge...and I am going to be more involved and I am going to work more seriously on my goals. Someone suggested opening two screens, one to read posts and one to respond to posts. That sounds like a good idea.

OK, I'm rambling.....Is anyone else excited that baseball season is here?
GO REDS ! !

Yes, I have felt that way about more than just work before, it can happen anytime you get a group of 2 or more people going!!! It can be a drag, so frustrating.
