Sally-the piercing looks great! Congrats on the 5lbs.
Thanks i was so excited when i got on the scale this morning... and considering i just got my TOM (which i'm not supposed to have since i have endometriosis) and was feeling all crappy and crabby and crampy...
Here's the NSV Scale-free challenge I started, for those who are interested in celebrating all the changes we are making that aren't related to numbers on a scale! There's no reason we can't participate in many types of challenges, and so many people expressed they wanted a way to not focus just on the numbers on a scale as a measure of worth and progress.
Sally - I hope you feel better soon!! With cute hair, you should!!
I've been re-evaluating my goals. My new goal is to burn 500 calories a day. 3500 a week. I'm also, as always, trying to cut back on wine consumption. Empty calories that just slow my metabolism . . . tsk, tsk.
I REALLY want to end this challenge at 175.0 or LOWER.
I don't know how I flaked on this, but I forgot to enter my weight yesterday! I was down a quarter pound too!
ggmugsy - husband?! husbands aren't allowed at the beach party! unless he's hot and your sharing
Nike+ ... crap, who asked about this???? I have it and love it! Right now I am pretty much logging only TM miles (bc I am a wuss and only like to run outside when it is 65 or above) but it is still cool to use there too. It tracks all of your runs, and if you log into the Nike website, you can view a graph of your runs, set up goals, and enter into virtual challenges. I just got into the challenge part of it, and it is soooooo cool! There are hundreds of thousands to choose from, for people of every level.
I bought 2 pairs of SIZE 8 pants this morning from Old Navy! I put on the 10's, and I was like, what's wrong, why do these look funny? And the girl, bless her, said "I think they are too big. Let me get you an 8." Holy shizzit!!!!!!! I might leave the tags on them......
Happy April 1st everyone!!
After an disappointing week, and an over-indulgent weekend, I am ready to start the month off on a good note. I was up working-out at 5:30am, and got a good hour done, drinking lots of water today, and making better food choices. I'm tired of making excuses for myself...no more emotional/bored/cheat eating. Sally...great job on the 5 lbs!! ceegee...size 8!! can't wait until I get there...it must feel wonderful! Soul...thanks for the link...I am going to check it out ggmugsy...good luck with your new goal! 3500 calories a week...according to TBL that is a pound a week!
Have a great day everyone!
Did I read in the TV guide that TBL is heading to Australia for a visit tonight??

dea- good for you for getting up and getting moving!!
I just got back from the gym, did C25K (week 3) one more day and I am onto week 4 where I have to run 5 minutes TWICE- I hope i can pull it off!
Hi Everyone....Congrats to all who are still hanging in here....
Size 8? Wow, I wasn't even born a size 8....that is fantastic.
Well, we are weaning ourselves off of WW points and heading into calorie counting. Wish me luck...but it's all my fault...I have created a monster....I put all of Jillian's radio shows onto my weight loss buddies iPod. Now it's, "Jillian says this...", and "Jillian says that...". It's kind of funny, before this all I could get out of her was "Jillian is too scary." I even caught her with the "Winning by Losing" book the other day. But, I have all the math down now and I know how many calories I need to eat and how many calories I need to burn to lose the weight. Hopefully, I will catch on to this quick and get into the higher math of %'s protein/fiber/carbs/etc soon.
And in other news (this is kind of pathetic, but I am proud of myself)...I actually took a bite of something, didn't think it tasted good, and stopped eating it because I didn't want to waste the calories on something I didn't like.
Ok, well I am looking forward to the gym tonight...I still have alot of post reading to do to catch up. ROCK ON team.
Where is Roni, Where is Roni...LOL! How are things going mama? Last week was rough for me, but I'm getting myself back on track this week slowly but surely How are things going for you? Hope all is well hun...how is your hip feeling? TTYL
Tina & Dea - Great to see you guys here!! Dea - great job for starting out a new month on a positive note!
Ceegee - DH is handsome. Picture the perfect mix of a young Steve McQueen and Matt Damon with a chest bigger than mine. Yummy!! He also LOVES waiting on me and my friends. Annette and I lay on her trampoline in the middle of the bay at her home and he brings us cocktails on a tray just like a waiter. He's a good guy to have around. I'm dying to know if you love your F11. AWESOME job on the size 8!!! WHOO-HOOO!!!
Vanetta - I nearly spit iced coffee all over my screen. You're FUNNY. I hope you'll keep us posted on your transition from points to calories. I'm none too happy with WW lately. Are you doing the next challenge??
I'm a little worried about Roni . . . I hope her hip injury isn't what's keeping her from posting!
SB - I'm in awe of you! 17 pounds past your goal - WOW!!
