Default Congratulations, everyone...

Sounds as if we had a pretty good week...I'll take any loss at all. Two pounds is just fine. Sherri Lynn, don't be disappointed. Not everyone gets a big weight loss on induction. I've never lost more than three or four pounds no matter what I do.

Here's a sprinkle to see us through the week...

Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I just don't think I'm going to make the Christmas challenge I am so aggrevated with the scale.Weird thing is I AM losing inches...go figure. I know muscle weighs more than fat but it makes me in a funky mood when the scale goes back and forth so much.

Good for you, Islandchick, losing inches is great. You can wear smaller sizes and get back into clothes you may have missed wearing. My wardrobe's growing; it's very fun to go "shopping" in the back of the closet. So, congratulations!

Remember that, as aggravating as it can be to be stuck on a number, the scales is only ONE measure of your success. We can also chose to define our successes in different ways. For me, I'm successful any day I just don't give up. Maybe you won't make 30 pounds, but you might consider redefining success for yourself. I'm wishing you the very best.

I held my weight all weekend so 141 still! Now, time to loose. I'm aiming for 2 lbs this week!

Ugh--I just gulped down 2tbsp of theraflu syrup and then did a quick google for the nutrition facts--Someone said Nyquil is like 13 grams of sugar and 19 carbs for 2tbsp so Theraflu is probably similar. I hope this doesn't stall me. I wish I had just sucked it up and not taken it.

Don't worry Lindsy! I hope you feel better!

I am down to 139.5 this am! I am SO excited. Its been about a year since I've seen this weight although I got close one or two times.

I am doing great at staying on plan and am eating more veggies.

How is your all weeks?

That's fantastic readyfreddy! Congrats! You're so close to goal.

My week started out great and is slowly crashing and burning, LOL. I was exercising every day and now my throat is sore so I can hardly drink my water. I can't wait to get over this so I can get back to my goals! A lot of people are getting sick right now, it might be the weather change. I also have a 5 year old little brother who probably brings everything from school back home with him.

I hope everyone has a great week!

Linsy, I'm so sorry you're sick. I'm into my third week with head and chest congestion. No fun, but at least my throat hasn't hurt. Best advice: follow dr.'s orders and drink lots of water - good for your WOE and will help thin the congestion - how gross is that! Today's been rough. All I want to do is eat...and I'm sick of eating what I'm supposed to be eating. YIKES!

Tomorrow will be a better day, my friend.

Lindsy - hope you feel better

Sandy - me too. Probably from my carb/booze over indulgence last night. All I want is that greasy, carby, hangover food.

But, I like seeing the numbers on the scale go down so I am going to be good! I had a whopper for bfast (no ketchup, no bun) so that partially satisfied the greasy crap urge.

I am also feeling sick (lack of sleep past two nights). I am going to go to sleep really early tonight and see if that helps. Also have been drinking water with 1 tbs lemon juice in it (my lemonaide). I'm hoping the vitamin C helps.

Stay strong my friends! The goal is health, happiness and fitness. Food may be a temporary comfort but our knees, waistlines, blood sugars, and grandkids (??) will thank us for our efforts today. Plus, food is rarely as good or as satisfying as I hope it will be.

My goal for the rest of the week is to be 138.5 by mon. I will be out of town fri-sun so my weigh in will be mon.
I feel like I have found my weightloss groove.
