Default One more Day!

One more day until weigh-in, challenge buddies...make it a good one. I'm a little worried this week because I haven't had all of my water (my ono-going "I hate water" problem), and I've eaten more cheese this week than I have in the past two weeks.

We'll just do our best and hope for lots of losses. I'll take a pound, please.

Sandy, I'm nervous about this week too. I haven't been getting nearly enough veggies or water. I hope the scale moves a little bit for both of us!

Good for you, Glamazon! I wish I'd made myself drink the water and stayed out of the cheese. Otherwise, I've been 100%, but cheese has been a stall for me. I haven't eaten more than the allotted ounces any day, or even all of it every day, but I know it's a stall.

I use the ketostix every day, and they will show ketosis every day...and then I won't lose a pound, depending on what I've eaten. The week I was super-strict and ate NO cheese (except 1/2 cup in a recipe I spread over five days), my ketostix was glowing super-purple every time I checked it, and I lost 4 pounds. So they're an indicator for me, but don't necessarily reflect a weight loss.

Linsy, we'll just congratulate ourselves on sticking with it, and suck it up if we don't lose...and vow to have a super-strict week. I have to drink my blankety-blank water!

The sticks for me only show trace or a small amount but I was losing quickly so I guess they don't work exactly right for everyone

It's nice to see something though, I feel like I'm reaffirming I'm doing something right. I do drink a lot of water and I know that can flush it a bit.

Sandy, it's so funny that you said that because right before I clicked on this thread and read your reply I decided that I'm going to have a super strict week. Minimal cheese, lots more veggies and all of my water every day. I'm also going to cut down on artificial sweeteners. I've been drinking diet drinks a little bit too much lately.

Oh, and I'm so proud of myself right now! A little while ago I decided that I was done being lazy and not exercising so I got up and did the Walk Away the Pounds video. I'm happy to say that I did the whole video except the cooldown up to one mile without resting. I'm going to vow to do it every day. I need to remember that I'll get much better results if I exercise.

On another note, one thing that I'm worried about is my boyfriend visiting in a week and a half. He's 120 pounds and about 6'0 and can eat McDonald's all day without gaining a pound. I'd love to steal his metabolism . I'm afraid that I'm going to be distracted and not eat properly. He's supportive of my diet because he wants me to get out of the unhealthy weight range so I doubt he would let me cheat even if I wanted to--but I need to remember to drink my water and eat my veggies. We also might be staying in LA for the weekend which means nonstop restaurants! It's going to be hard to make good choices.

Linsy, he sounds like my fiance! Mine is 6"4 and 147 lbs. He's trying to gain weight, I tried fattening him up and it hasn't worked. His metabolism is just too high to gain weight right now. We had a goal to meet each other half way with my weight loss and his gain, and he has gained nothing and now I'm almost his weight! Hehe

He is great for stopping me from cheating, it took me a long time to get him trained to do that though. He felt weird chastising me for making bad decisions before but it's what I needed so now he's better at it

LOL, my boyfriend and I joke about how he needs to gain weight and I need to lose weight too! I think a big part is he doesn't seem to have that food addiction that a lot of overweight people have. He just eats when he's hungry.

I thought today was weigh in day and I weighed and was excited to come post my results! It's hard to keep track of the days when you don't have a job or go to school haha.

Default Down a little...

Okay, Challenge Buddies, I weighed in at my doctor's office this morning...one pound down. I'm just glad I didn't gain. This week was rough. Lots of stress, little time to focus.

This week, it's super-strict induction - which, for me, means eliminating cheese and drinking the water. I hate giving up cheese, but I love the weight loss when I do. So, my goal for this week is to lose three pounds.

I also need to add a block to my afternoon walk. Puddin' and I have to go a little further every day. My head's not in a great place; maybe walking more will help.

Great job, Sandy! 1 pound is fantastic! It sounds like you did better than you thought. There will always be those weeks that are tough, you just have to do the best you can do. Keep it up, you are doing fantastic!

Holy Moly! I lost 6 pounds this week!!!

I had to step on the scale like 5 times to make sure, LOL. I am so happy right now! Last night I said no to a bunch of junk (we went out to eat) and the scale has certainly rewarded me! I have to say, I love weighing in once a week.

I hope everyone else has a great weigh-in!!

Off to make the bacon and eggs for breakfast...

Hi ladies!

172 today. Which is 100% acceptable, considering last week I was on vacation, and I had a major (albeit low carb) binge last night.

Let's have another amazing week!

Way to ride, Dandydiva! You are losing inches, don't doubt it for a moment and gaining muscle. Have a great 100% week.
