I started Atkins at an all-time high of 250. It helped me get down to where I am, then I started experimenting with other plans and have hovered around this weight for almost 2 years
Atkins is the best eating plan out there, really... I think I have learned my lesson! I told myself I wanted to lose 30 by Christmas to be at goal this year. Then I saw this challenge!
It looks like everyone here is doing so well. Congrats on all your losses and victories! It really helps to have a support group.
Welcome, Glamazon! Don't know how much of the thread you've read, but this was our Week 5 weigh-in. Congratulations on maintaining your weight loss...impressive.
Thanks, sandyfanny!
Does everyone weigh in on the same day, if so - what day?
there Glamazon chick!
...to answer your question, Saturday is the scheduled weigh-in day, however some have changed their day to be in line with doctor's weigh-in (or a previously scheduled weigh-in day)
The weather is cooling off and I'm starting to think about all of those yummy holiday comfort foods...and I came across this! http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/recipe...kin-Cheesecake!
Not induction friendly but it would be fantastic for a Thanksgiving/Christmas treat! The comments say that the texture is great. I'm definitely thinking about making this for the holidays.

2 things,
1, that looks awesome!
2, I love you for posting that because I can't have gluten or wheat and the recipe uses almond flour and pecans for the crust so it's something *I* can have!
I'm done induction in a week and two days, I'm going to have to make this bad boy! I loveeee pumpkin pie but can't really have it anymore because of the sugar and crust. I know this isn't really a "phase 2" recipe but I could make it fit
I hope you all had an awesome weekend! Thanks for the support ladies.. I'm so happy to have found you all, I've been a bit of a scatter brain past few days and haven't reached out individually and to give you all pat on the back for your weight loss success so I'm giving you all group hug now and a huge congrats!!
I didn't realize it was a weekly weigh in.. I might hold off and weigh myself Saturday and hopefully be blown away some! Yesterday was a horrible day for me, I didn't cheat at all but OI I had the worst headache ever!!! I had no energy, just lay in bed all day feeling so blah! Today however, I'm all bouncy and excited! I'm guessing it was part of the induction flu? My husband gave me a cup of coffee yesterday, I was so reluctant to have it but he used splenda, I'm hoping that hasn't affected my induction any, I cut down my carbs to accommodate the coffee but still, I worry.. I really want to reach my christmas goal this year and start the new year off in a good way.
I am planning on doing the Induction longer than two weeks, Are you all still on the induction? Have a wonderful day Ladies xoxo
AngeBelle.. When we get to feeling that way, we drink a cup of chicken boullion... It works like a charm.. I do it in a coffee cup, one wylers to cup of hot water nuke for 1 min... 5 calories.. My headache is gone with in 30 minutes... The book says it is your body adjusting to less sodium...
Have a great week girls.. I gotta get back on track this week... Last week was my birthday week and my nephew's so, I did two b parties... I still lost weight, but I am up today I can feel it in my joints... Water weight.. I will be slamming water this week!!!!
Here is some for all of US!!!
