Took myself to the gym this morning. I am wanting to do the treadmill more, since it's a better workout for me than my bike at home, and my knee seems to be doing better.
I was hoping to do 60 minutes...but I overestimated the health of my knee and, more than anything else, my cardio endurance at the higher intensity of the treadmill. So, I listened to my body and did my 5 minutes of warm up, and a 30-minute Hills program at 2.8 mph. I am happy to report my knee did very well, even at the 1.5% incline! All in all, the machine tells me, I climbed 21 feet. Not bad, really. I think my goal for this week is to do another 2 sessions of 30 minutes each on the treadmill and do the rest of my workouts at home on my bike.

And Nancy, I'm glad your vacation went so well. I am going to have to follow your example and get my butt in motion while watching TV. Seems like the optimal way of multi-tasking! :-)
Went for a nice brisk (4 mph) walk today with mom for 30 mins. Then, we went bike riding for 30 minutes this afternoon.
60 mins for the day, and brings me to 835 mins for the month, which is PAST my goal!
xena -- I know what you mean about wanting to get in more of something but just being grateful for anything... I feel like I'm teetering on the edge here, but I'll keep going.
I only got a walk in with my dogs yesterday -- wanted to do more but it didn't happen... 17 minutes!
Yesterday I managed to pop my nose out of my book just long enough to get in my required 10 minutes, which brings my total to 1007. I am excited to get back to the gym tonight, but I need to make sure and get there early so I can get home for the Idol finale!
