I thought of you all and his thread a few days ago. I was feeling particularly excited about my loss so far and I decided that just for fun I would go shopping and maybe see if I could find a cute swimsuit for the summer. MISTAKE. I've made progress, but not enough to warrant a bikini....at all.... boo. That's ok though, the challenge is still in progress! And seeing as how we just got three days of big, poofy, white SNOW here, it seems I still have some time yet. I would love to be in the 130s this summer.... come on.... come on.... :D Good luck, all!

summerkate - Yaaay for running! Naaay for key losings! I used to hide my key in my back garden and go out the gate. But that was my parents house, if I was running around here I too would probably shove it in the boobage holding. 10K is definitely do-able. I completely skipped the 5K stage and entered a 10K when I first started running and I did it! I used Hal Higdon's 10K programme (you can google it) and it worked REALLY well for me. Please enter my song contest because you're awesome and I want to know what you rock out to! Song of - Welcome back! Hope you enjoy your trip, definitely try and take a similar picture, you won't regret it! I did it (not the same place but similar outfit) and I was so surprised by the difference. omshiv - I bet you were just seeing things!! I bet you looked awesome in the bikini. |
Thank y’all so much for the feedback on running and the key situation! I told my DH about it, and he was like, we need to get you some shorts with pockets! I do have some running shorts with pockets in them, I guess I just need to use those shorts when I’m not wearing one of my tighter bras. I might try the shoelace thing too :) I would love to put my key under the tire or in the yard somewhere or something, but I’m so OCD sometimes, it would probably distract me on my run (sometimes it takes me 10 minutes to leave the house in the morning because I keep checking to make sure I turned things off and closed things!) And I officially signed up for the 10k! I’m excited!
Bunnabear-I hope you have a great time wherever you’re going to be in a week and a half and enjoy sporting whichever swimsuit you decide to wear!! Song of Surly-sounds like you’re doing great! I hope you have a fun trip! Riestrella-I entered the song contest today!! I saw the contest the other day and my first thought was, "Yay! I want to see what everyone else is listening to-I need new workout songs!" I'm going to youtube everyone's choices and add some to my list. I have been away for all the time ever, so it seems.
But I'm back now, having had a horrible gain to weigh in this morning at the heaviest I've ever been. Something needs to change, so I'm back and begging for help! Could I be re-added from the stand-bys pretty please? Hope you're all doing really well xx |

Hey look at that! I'm finally on a chart!
This week moved in the wrong direction though. The boy made brisket last night, and I made blue cheese and bacon potato salad... so yeah, weight's up this week. 133.5 today. Next week in the 120's, that's my goal! I'm going home this weekend and I wanna look good. Obviously I'm not going to lose much weight before then, but if I can eat healthy the next few days at least I wont have a bloat going on. |

I signed up :) - I wanted to sign up for the last one and got really busy with midterms and such but now that school is winding down I will have more time to dedicate to the gym. Hopefully this challenge will help me get past this wall I've been hitting for the past 4 weeks :(
