That is actually a really good idea! I might try that. I don't wanna gain another 4 lbs from binging. I finally reached my first mini goal and I don't wanna screw it up :/

Also I just started this thing today I bought a calendar from the 99 cent store and hanged it in my room so I can see it. I mark X in red each day I have a successful day and it challenges me to try and complete a full month of red X's :D and you also stay on track with your progress because sometimes oh wait who am I kidding all the time I forget what days were great and what days weren't so great at all.

The other thing that I do is before I go to bed I send myself an email for the next morning so I can read my daily commitment for that day. Just trying to find new ways to be committed 100% ;) Plus I want to be in the top 10 at the end of this challenge and I tend to be a competitive person in general.

159.2! Its been a LONG time since I was under 160. That I've found something I can stick to long enough to get that low. What a perfect way to start off my Tuesday!

That's a great idea! I think I'll do it and put it in my kitchen so when I'm trolling for a snack I can look at it and walk right back out :D

Went to Nike Training Club again last night. It wasn't as intense as last week but it was still a great workout. I'm going to go for a run tonight when I get home and then head to the grocery store for my weekly shop. I've been seriously slacking with my food prep and organization.

Dang woman, you got some great ideas! :) I have a daily journal and every time I eat something "bad" I write it down on the side including calories and everything. I also write down "GYM" at the top right corner when I went and worked out that day. So every morning when I open up a new page I see how I did the day(s) before. You can only imagine what my pages look like during PMDD lol! well at least from last month. It's not so bad this month (yet, *fingers crossed*).

Had a horrible day yesterday. I barely ate, felt super slouchy, lazy and on edge. BUT - Today is a new day! I'm going to the gym later and I also have my weigh-in.

ChickieBoom - Nike Training Club sounds like fun! What exactly do you do there?

ChickieBoom 04-30-2013 01:22 PM

hoopty33 - So Nike has these Training Clubs at their stores all over the country and they're FREE! It's usually interval training where you do some form of push ups, planks, ab work, running in place. They have instructors that show you what to do. The one I went to last night had 133 people.

That's how I felt the other day when I FINALLY weighed in at 139 flat. I literally started tearing up and my boyfriend was like "its ok, its ok!" - The lowest I ever was the last time I was working out was 135 (lowest weight ever was 105), and I'm so close to almost surpassing that hopefully. Now that the numbers are finally moving again I have my motivation back!

ChickieBoom - Wow that sounds like fun! And it's for free? I wish there was a Nike store where I live, I'd definitely check it out.

I'm back up to 140.2 lbs. Stupid PMS and TOM. But hey - I should be back down next Tuesday.

Can you believe it's May already? Holy moly.

Daki - Glad you had a good vacation! I've put you back on the list.

Cinnamonfox - Great ideas on keeping accountable! What kind of things do you write in your emails?

hoopty - We all have those "meh" days! I know today is mine! But love your positive outlook, keep it up :).

Oh! I'm on the chart. That's so cool!

ChickieBoom 05-02-2013 09:45 AM

I did Bikram Yoga for the first time last night and I think I hated it. The heat was a little too intense for me and several times throughout the 90 MINUTE class I thought I might pass out. When it was all over, all I kept thinking was that I'd bought a Groupon and still had 4 more classes to go. Will it get better for me?
