Daki - I can't imagine your stress right now. Hopefully this will be a one door closing and another door opening situation.

ChickieBoom - you look like a movie star!

I'm terrible at spreadsheets, can anyone tell me why it says I've lost 2.7lbs when I've actually lost 9.8?

It's not been updated. That's all.

Ohh, okay. I was under the assumption that it updated automatically because of a formula or something. Thanks!

How is everyone doing this Monday morning?

ChickieBoom 04-01-2013 10:28 AM

Lol...thanks bunnabear!

I would just like to say that I'm only 10 pounds heavier than the weight on my driver's license! It was 109 pounds off at one point (ridiculous I know) but when I get to goal, I'm having a new picture taken and updating the info!

epicskyline 04-01-2013 10:44 AM

ChickieBoom - Isn't that the greatest feeling? The weight on my license was about 80 lbs too low and now it's 35 lbs too high! I'm going to retake the picture and change the stats in July before I go on vacation. I don't want to get stopped by TSA because my picture looks NOTHING like me. I can't wait!

March was kind of a wash for me. I really hope that it was a fluke and April is better. I guess I've been so used to do the weight falling off with a bit of effort and willpower that I don't know what to do if it's stalled! I just want to be a normal weight!

arrrghhh Easter screwed me over, I'm up 3 pounds this week. Ah well, just means a big loss for last week, right? That's the plan at least. I'm done with my Sunday "cheat day" now that lent is over, so Monday weights should be more reflective of my actual weight rather than a binge the day before.

I have a new boy in the picture, which is helpful in that I feel more motivated to look good for him, but not helpful in that it means more eating out, etc. Hopefully the former will overpower the latter!

I'm alive!!

This weekend was super busy. I had friends over on Saturday and a wedding on Sunday. Not to mention a stressful busy work week.

I started my exercise chart today (a combination of all the workouts I love to do at my own pace) and I kicked it off with yoga. It was so nice to relax and just stretch.

Still trying to keep a healthy attitude to eating, but it can be difficult at times! But kick starting my exercise will probably make me want to fuel my exercise better.

Hope you're all well!

Congrats everyone in the top 20! (thanks, Rie for updating!)

I also congratulate to those who have lost/maintained/gained because you are still sticking around, not giving up and keep trying!

Fatness!!! Please tell me your secrets :)

bunnabear 04-05-2013 06:56 AM

I'm up slightly this week (from 148.9 to 149.1), but not surprising since I have eaten out more than I normally would. I've made healthy choices but the sodium content is still much higher than when I cook so a little gain is to be expected.

MusicalAstronaut 04-05-2013 08:19 AM

I managed to stay under 180 (something I kind of never believed I'd see!) despite being sick this week. Yay!

summerkate83 04-05-2013 08:25 AM

chickieboom-i saw your post somewhere else about being 100 pounds down (but I'm terrible about looking at a thread and then forgetting where it was)-congratulations!!! that's so exciting!!

epicskyline-March was pretty much a wash for me too!! I've been doing those daily weigh in threads the past couple of months. It's been really helpful to see my trends, but I also noticed that my starting weight for March and my starting weight for April are within a pound of each other-not very good!! some days when I'm feeling confident I tell myself that I'm not really losing because this is a good weight for me, but I know I want to try to lose some more if I can!!

TinyTiger-congrats on the new boy:) I can definitely understand the difficulty of trying to eat well while dating. I eat out more now that I'm married, and it's so tempting to just make easy foods that I know he likes-mostly meat, carbs, and peanut butter haha.

Riestrella-good luck with that exercise!! I'm like you, if I can get the exercise going it makes me want to eat healthier (especially when I'm doing long runs or Insanity-I think about how miserable I am while working out and think, this would be easier if I ate better!!).

Amandie and Dcapulet-that was encouraging! I definitely feel like I'm more of a maintainer than a loser (I've lost maybe three pounds since the year started), but I really do feel better doing this than if I wasn't! And who knows, I may lose this other 12 pounds yet!!
