Just weighed in at 173.8 this morning! Just barely squeaking inside a "normal" BMI! Woohoo
Also - MusicalAstronaut - right there with you. I'm so excited to be in the low 70's, but also kind of nervous because this is right where I usually screw it up. I can feel myself mentally trying not to get 'too excited' about it till I hit the 160's, which would be a huge first for me in the past decade...
Edited to add - speaking of driver's licenses, you guys inspired me to look at mine... it's said 180 for the past decade I think. WOOHOO. Also it's due to get renewed in April, so if I'm holding at 160 by then I'll be pretty psyched.
160 is pretty nice at my height, even though I always thought it sounded horribly fat as a teen and in college.
I really feel like there should have been some kind of education done in school about different heights and weights - I always thought I was horrifyingly obese even when I was at a healthy weight, mid-range BMI. But when all your friends are 5 feet tall and barely over 100 pounds, you just feel massive. Something like that chart of heights and weights with different pictures would have been amazing for my self-esteem in high school. The model in the 150 pounds x 5'10" square? Damn! I doubt I'll ever look like her (she's awesomely fit, and beautiful on top of it), but knowing 150 pounds could look like that... yeah that needs to be more visible for younger girls.
