I've always wanted to go to DragonCon (from the photos I've seen online, it seems to have a ton of awesome Firefly cosplays...I love me some Firefly) but it's a bit far from me. A girl that I worked with last summer went. I was super jealous. Conventions are always a good place to go if you want people to recognize your nerdy costumes. I had one guy sprint up an escalator to get away from this one:
My former roommates went as #11 and Amy Pond (in the TARDIS). I was the Weeping Angel with the creepy-*** mask facing vaguely in the direction of the camera. Between the fact that our TARDIS was 6 feet tall and the fact that people wanted a staring contest with a Weeping Angel, we got stopped approximately every 5 feet.
...and I've been stuck lately too. I ate badly one day this weekend and haven't seemed to manage to make the scale go back to where it was since :/

Having the hardest time of getting back on track. But having a soup day today. Just soup, soup and soup. Then my body will be clean enough so I can get some exercise in again tomorrow too. Been almost OD'ing on winegums and my body does not like all that sugar. LOL. Did not weigh in. Wil do next week and so on.
I changed my goal weight as well. I think 1lb per week is MUCH more realistic. It'll bring me down to 154.4 which I'll be happy to be at that weight too! I think I messed up a formula when I added and removed a number in one of the three last columns because it didn't calculate my weight when I added my weigh in for this morning. I'm sorry..
Well, not the first weigh in that I was hoping for, but completely expected. I took my husband to a father's day brunch buffet, and decided I'd let myself indulge for the day. So obviously the following day isn't the best day to weigh in, but because I always weigh in on Mondays, I might as well, and I'll just vow to have a better week next week.
Thanks for doing such an awesome spreadsheet Riestrella!
Hotaruchan- That picture made me smile, love the guys facial expression
I'm excited for this challenge! and for Halloween, no idea what I'm going to be BUT I did already get the time off work to go to the 'fetish and fantasy' ball here in vegas. (huge event, really weird and interesting.)
I want to be in the one hundreds by then. that's 1.5ish pounds a week.. that doesn't sound so hard, right?
yay just signed up i'm really excited since this is my first challenge! i feel like a back-to-school one would've been good for me to participate in but i feel like that's not enough time to get to the weight i wanna be by halloween. I've already been making up sexy costumes for halloween in my head, this is OUR year girls . xoxo
p.s. i don't see the 5lb weight-loss as any big feat this week as i only started dieting a week and a half ago - just drinking TONS of water and eating more fruits & veg...assuming it's water-weight so not keeping hopes up for a 5lb weight loss every week hehe.
I have had a sexy outfit for halloween put together for years as one of my rewards to losing all the weight and I am really hoping this year I will get to wear it! I was so excited to see this!!!
osobxo - I'm right there with you! I started by diet a week ago and was initially excitied about dropping a few pounds, but then I realized it's probably just water weight. *Wa wa waaa*
Maybe we'll surprise ourselves and get another big weight loss this week!
Yeah, I actually knew the guy dressed as 10's Master (Saxon) from high school, but hadn't talked to him in years. Forgetting about the fact that I was wearing a mask, I called his name and waved. When he waved awkwardly back, I went "Man, musical was ages ago. Remember me?" To which he responded "Ah yes, who could forget a face like that." Embarrassing interaction was embarrassing.
132 again today (starting weight was the same) but I guess since it's only been one day I can't really complain!
I need to start thinking about my sexy costume! Catholic school girl is my go-to when I can't think of anything else (since I still have my skirt from high school) but it would be fun to do something different!
So exciting!! Just entered my first challenge on 3FC, and a big "thank you" to Riestrella for getting it kicked off! Halloween is so much fun and this challenge is a great reminder to stick to getting healthy so I can enjoy it like I want to.
