Hi everyone! I've been in the 170s for about 5 weeks now. I was down to 172.2 this morning. I think some of it is water weight because i went out to eat last night. I was down to 171.8 the other morning. i'm hoping to be down to 170 by next tuesday. My friend gets back from her semester abroad wednesday night and i made it a goal to be at or below 170 when she got back. At the time it seemed so easy! I even thought about making my goal 165! I'm so glad I didn't end up doing that! haha
So I've been doing well. down to 176 even with time of month. so I'm hoping to see 175 later this week. Don't have time for personals right now nut will check in later tonight and catch up. Hope u all are doing well.
I haven't posted here in awhile because of over a month long plateau but I'm finally down to 171lbs today (a 1lb loss). I'm really excited and hope to be in the 160's soon!!!!

So I have been doing well and am down to 175 finally. First mini goal hit! feels good. I do struggle mightily with my points and this damned feeling of needing "treats". I guess just one day at a time

Hey Unstoppable and all the new members! I know I have been MIA for a while (LOADS of personal stuff, work and school). I am actually too afraid to weigh myself :-P I think I need a couple weeks of being on track and then I'll take a peek. Looks like I will be in the forum for at least another month, which is slower than I wanted to move, but at least I have a great support group.
Unstoppable - how is your weight loss coming along?
Ok - so to my friends in the 160s 170s forum, I did EXACTLY what I said I would NOT do and immediately weighed myself. Yes, this is the story of my life, with weight, with guys, lol!
Anyway, the reason I sound somewhat positive is because the results were OK. I actually weight 161.4. I'm not sure how, but I think that the month and a half of hardcore dieting (eating around 1300 cals), just naturally decreased the amount I ate to feel full. So when I was "pigging out" it was actually not so bad - 1.5 lbs over a month isn't a great weight loss, but it isn't a gain, and I'll take what I can get.
So my new goal is revised. I am going to get below 160 within the next two weeks, and going to hit 155 by early Jan. Sorry for the long post, I'm just so flipping excited!!
Yay that's awesome goingforgold! Congrats on the loss! I'm hoping that once I make it to maintenance (or have an occassional crazy day) and think I'm pigging out it won't be too bad!

So I went down 2 lbs this week which was great because I didn't loose last week from tom. It was nice. Everything is such a struggle. Even though I am happy I am already dreading the next week. I guess I just need to try and take it one day at a time.
Thanks Reba and Sun. You gals are doing so well. You'll be down to the 160s in no time! Losing weight is a struggle, especially if you want to drop some lbs in a hurry. I think I was actually undereating before and when I get down to 150s I'll up my cals to around 1400. I leveled off at 165 for like 3 solid weeks and I wasn't eating that much and I was exercising. Soooo frustrating. Especially since I had cookie dough and cupcakes for dinner for like the last week and dropped weight. I have to break this cupcake habit!! There's only one teaspoon left of the cookie dough and I vowed not to make more :-)
FYI - anybody who can hold the scale during TOM is doing very well. As if TOM couldn't be any worse, the fact that I have never lost weight during it makes it that much more irritating.
Wow, so remember how I had that plateau last month? Well, today I stepped on the scale and I'm down another 2lbs from yesterday, so I'm at 169lbs!!!!
That means I've lost 3 lbs this month after that stupid plateau, I'm seriously on at the moment.
GoingforGold- that's awesome that you still lost weight after "pigging out"! I've also noticed that my pigging out is no where near to the levels as before. Plus then I normally try to workout if I do go overboard. Maybe we've finally instilled some good habits.
Down another lb!! Weighed in at 178 this morning... At the rate I am going, I will be 170 by spring... I need to change things up and get more exercise... but that 1lb made my day
I finally budged down from 178.8 to 178.6. I hate stalling! My calories are perfect, I am getting plenty of work outs in. I gotta do something to get things moving. Maybe change my foods up.
