I totally hear you! We went out to eat for the first time in a long time last night, and I got pasta and had wine--calorie bombs! I worked out twice yesterday, and am headed to the gym in the morning, but still. However, I really had a nice time with my husband, and it was well worth it to have a treat!

I think this may be the thread for me. After losing between 5-7lbs I seems to be hovering around the 160-162 mark. This has been going on since mid October and I can't seem to get out of the 160s! My goal is to make it to the gym everyday for the rest of the week (I missed today due to a severe headache).

I am also trying to avoid those sweet treats I love so much! I am trying so hard to reach my goal wait by the end of July and if I keep stalling it isn't going to happen. I need to find my focus so perhaps this thread can help get me past that 160 hurdle!

Good luck dizzysoi! Only half a pound til halfway done--nice!

Welcome Veela! Is there anything you can do to shake things up? I recommend lots of water, and fiber and protein to keep you full!

I think I need to add more protein to my breakfast and lunch I got really hungry at work today and ended up buying a snack which was not that healthy. I think I need some healthy high protein breakfast ideas perhaps there is some type of meat I can eat in the morning which is also lean and healthy.

I managed to make it to the gym which was great and I am challenging myself to eat lentils or beans at least once a day to up my fiber intake. Lets hope those pounds start melting away!

166lbs this morning!!!!

Veela- one of my favorites is scrambled eggs with turkey bacon, onions and mushrooms. Unfortunately, I can't find turkey bacon in Brazil so I have to do without but it really is delicious.

Also, I always have a planned snack between breakfast and lunch. Sometimes just fruit but the best one is cottage cheese+apples+cinnamon.

*snuffle*
A very sad 173.0 starting point this morning. Having gained back basically AAAAALL of my weight is pretty tragic, but. Here I am, it's time to change!!! (again!)

I joined a Toronto (my city) weight loss challenge yesterday and will be competing with a few other ladies, and kicking butt, as well as posting here once a day.

Dizzy:
Ugh, the 5 day plateau. I know some people talk about 3 week long plateaus and how frustrating they are, but... if you're like me, 5 days without even a .1 lb loss is AGONY. Keep with it, though! You know you're doing things right and it'll drop!

Veela:
I second the turkey bacon. Insanely fewer calories with a FRACTION of the amount of fat... and very yummy when I cook it to a crisp like I like it. Also, turkey jerky is a really great snack-- 50 calories for 1/4 of the package I get with something like... 0.3 grams of fat. Top it off with a tonne of water to counteract any excess sodium, and you're golden.

Running:
166!! Good job! ....I will be at 166 in no time. Keep running, I'm chasing you... muwahha.

Buu:
AHHH!!! Okay, like a day. Maybe two or three, depending upon whether your body feels like cooperating. You'll be in the 150s in NO time at all!

Alicia:
Woot! 172.5, we're so close to each other! 'Cept you're way taller than me, damnit. I'll be trying to catch up in my next weight-ins!!!

See you all sooooon....
