Default In the 170's

Ok ladies... I need NEED women who are in my weight range to form a support group all right?!

The problem is, I had my baby a year ago and all though I lost my baby weight really fast, about 15+ pounds have crept back on and I want to lose that and then some. I have been trying for a little under a year to do this, but I keep losing and regaining the same 8 or so pounds. I have not seen below 170 in over 8 months. I am, right now, at 172.6 and I have been here for almost 2 weeks now. Not 172.4, not 172... but 172.6 exactly. The only fluctuation is upwards now and then. I envy the women who lose 2 or more pounds a week, I seriously thrill to see a fraction of a pound down.

I hope that I'm not the only one who's having issues getting below 170 but I'd sure love to see those of us that are struggling with that number encouraging one another to lose these oh-so-stubborn pounds!

I'm doing 30 day shred and I'm eating MUCH better than I was even a month ago. Still, there are changes to be made. So please, for my sake- and yours! - ( ) let's get down to business.

Yay Petunia!! Funny story- my moms name is Glenda. She hated the name the whole time she was growing up - she still hates it. She begged her parents to change her name to Petunia. She'd have rather been named after a pretty flower than some dumb name like Glenda. Isn't that cute? haha

Anyway, welcome and let's do this! I'm eating an orange right now rather than the pringles I was thinking of. Healthy choices, woo hoo

I'm 173.. TOM and my ticker is lying. I'm super excited to be in the 160's because the smallest in my adult life I can remember being was 155 ish. So that means I"m DANGEROUSLY close to virgin territory I've been super OP all week and by golly when TOM is over I better dip under 170 or I"m gonna strangle my scale.

We can do it ladies, numbers aren't everything but they sure act like it sometimes

I keep trying to tell myself, the number on the scale doesn't matter...but to me it does. the 160's are a place I havn't seen since high school, and the 150's since jr high, so if I make it to to the 150's I'll be in "virgin territory" for me as an adult. I'll weigh in tomorrow and see where I'm at since the last time I weighed in was monday morning and I'm over the TOM stuff. Hopefully I'll be back down to a manageable 172 or sooo....

Thanks Ghost!!!!! Yes, I did. I'm now 276 after a long time of slowly losing!

Fleming- the 30 day shred is amazing! I lost 14 inches in one month.

HWGA- of COURSE you can join, but only if you don't make it into the 60's before me. LOL I'm kidding you totally deserve it. Here I am mad that the scale hasn't moved in a week and you've been going to strong for quite some time.

I am apparently on a marathon of OP days. I really want to get back to my ticker weight and I told myself I'd have to move it up if I didn't get back there by the end of the week. This is the most I've been motivated since I started this whole healthy person idea.

Me too, me too!

I think I'm between 170-175 (my scale has been out of commission for a bit, haven't gotten around to fixing it).

The lowest I've been (2 summers ago) was 158...I'm dying to see that number again. Getting back on the wagon after 1+ year off, so to speak.

I'm also doing the 30 day shred! The first five days were a lot harder than I expected. (Took today off because my knee joints started hurting...any tips??)

Let's DO THIS, girls!
