@yhahmd: Don't think that! Sometimes our bodies just stop after a while. You've lost over 20lbs...that's usually about when a plateau kicks in. Maybe google weight loss plateaus & see if there is anything you can change up to get past it. I did a week off plan & blew past mine, but a lot of people say to just keep doing what you're doing, & eventually, your body will respond. CHIN UP, GIRL!
@Sammi: The traffic on the individual pages was super slow, so we combined

I see...makes sense, but it doesn't make me feel very optimistic about leaving this group anytime soon. Not that I will be leaving anytime soon anyway.
I feel like I'll never leave, lol! These last two pounds are firmly attached to my butt.
Had dental work done, so half the day I couldn't eat. I am, however, allowed to work out tonight. Hard time getting enough calories in though. Hopefully another drop tomorrow as I work out my soreness from Sundays bootcamp. (162.7 today, back to pre-bootcamp weight, but still pretty sore...162 and I get my eyebrows threaded...)
@Sammi- The 160's thread was super slow, so when the 170's was locked they combined. It's even harder to stay motivated when there is no one to motivate you! Welcome and congrats on making the 170's- I am sure it feels awesome!
I weighed in at 176.6 today. Have been back on the wagon for almost a week. It's sad that I let myself off the hook for this long. I am over half way to goal, and taking a 3 month break was a bad idea. The only positive thing to report is that I didn't gain back a ton of weight. Hoping to see the 160's by May 21 (my 7 year anniversary). 6.7 pounds to go. I would love to see the 150/140's thread by the time clinicals start in August! For now, I am looking forward to the reprieve of less work and less school. Super excited. Hope to get back to exercising soon now that the endless winter is making an exit.
I'm in this thread!!! YAY!!!!! I've been in the 180s for the last 2+ years (with a somewhat recent brief moment up to 193), and now FINALLY have a toe in the 170s!
After not weighing for the last 2 months so that I could stop obsessing about the non-moving scale, I weighed this morning at 179.6 *happy dance!*
I'm going to stick to my "plan" of not hopping on the scale every morning and will likely only have an updated number once every several weeks. So will instead revel in the differences that I'm noticing that are non-scale related.
Goal: I'll probably be in this thread forever to be honest. I've never been below 170 but know I can easily be in the 160s and still have all my curves in the right places. Otherwise, I don't really have a clue as to what my goal really is! Maybe it's 165? 160? 150? No matter what, I intend to look hot getting there.
So after breaking a few ligaments in my ankle 3 weeks ago, I was stuck at 169. I've been doing some at home workouts, walking everywhere, and sticking solidly to my diet, but I couldn't get any of it off. I tried drinking as much water as possible, too! But nothing helped. Oddly enough, I started drinking tea about 3 days ago. Instead of my one coke and a bunch of water I've just been drinking a ton of tea. And oddly enough, I'm at 166 again. It looks like this water weight is finally coming off! Now just for this ankle to finish healing so I can run again..
Ugh...had a final exam today, and I have another one Friday. The one Friday is 3x worse than the one today because the class only had ONE other test the entire semester, so this final exam is on an enormous amount of material, and it is worth a buttload of points. The other class had 3 exams total and I did really well on the first two so that one wasn't so bad.
So I have 13 lectures to listen to before Friday morning...Mountain Dew, anyone? ;__;
161.6 today. I'm going to give it a day or two, to make sure it sticks. If it does, I've met my first mini goal!
I went to a boot camp evaulation last night. Basically, they figure out your body type and what a good weight for you would be. Based on my body type, they say I should shoot for 137 rather than 125-120.......
This thread is a good'in! I just read through most of the posts! I am also stuck in the 170's and 160's.. my weight fluctuates like you wouldnt believe. One day I weighed in at the gym at 176, the next day I weigh in at 168?!? What the.. that is an EIGHT pound difference..
Anyway, I have been pretty steadily at 167-169ish for the last week. Which is good.. But obviously, I would like to see the number continue to drop. I started witha personal trainer last week, so we have 9 more weeks to make this happen! We meet twice a week and he kicks my butt! wheeeewww!!
I also calorie count.. 1200-1400 a day (depending on what my body asks for) and I watch sugars, sodium and carbs. I do eat complex carbs, I just try to limit them! I also drink 100oz+ a day of water! And lastley.. I take an all natural thermogenic that seems to be helping me stay energized for my two a days! I just substitute that for my coffee.
Also, as someone mentioned, I started drinking green tea instead of soda.. so I suppose in a week we will see where we are!
Sorry for the novel.. just really trying to find a place to fit in in the 3FC world!
