Wellllllll today was Boot Camp evaluation! He took our BMI's, weight (mine was 175.8), height, body percentage of muscle AND fat and we also did a fitness evaluation. For instance I could do 30 sit ups without stopping in one minute. (He also told me he got a google link to this page cuz I mentioned the boot camp hahahaha, umm yeah so he saw everything i wrote...but he didn't read it all =)
Anyway, SO with that said, Monday is our first day of the 8 week challenge and I am PUMPEDDDDDDD!!! I am 175.8 right now so I plan on AT LEAST being 160 by the end of the 8 weeks. I'm actually going to aim for 155 but I won't be mad at myself if I hit 160. That's 2lbs a week average and I'm good with that.
I also hope to double whatever was in my fitness evaluation, or at least go halfsies. So like with sit ups, I hope I can do 45 in 60 seconds with no break instead of 30 in a minute.
It's also nice to have my BMI and body fat percentage etc. Here we go!
Hopefully I can get out of these 170's within two weeks! That's the plan anyways cuz I have a feeling the 160's are going to be extremely rough!
Let's go girls!
Mary - Yay for being on holiday and doing SO WELL!!! I really want to go skiing, hopefully I can get a group together for it soon!
Jaimie - How is class going?
Everyone else - You guys are all doing so amazing, keep up the kick_@ss losses!

Kay- CONGRATS on your new found littleness! How wonderful for you!
Kriz- I have had that happen to me before...you have to be careful what you put out there becuase you might post something online that comes up in a google search. It's a long story, but I posted a comment about a bad daycare (I caught her sleeping and my kids were unattended) and then my post was at the top of google searches! I totally know where you are coming from. Anyways, good luck with bootcamp. With your dedication you will totally make your 155 no problem-o! I will be cheering you on the whole time!
BTW, class is good so far, but we will see when we get into the tough stuff!
Audri- Good for you! You are in the bottom half of the 170's!! AWESOME!
Today I weighed in at 176.6...another low for me. Let's hope it sticks! After my stall, I am hoping it's a real loss! And I went skiing all day today, so I think I got in a good workout. I am going to be super sore tomorrow for sure! I am glad I have lost weight and worked out these last 9 months as I don't think that skiing would have been doable if I was where I was physically a year ago. Eek!
kriz - i love the sound of your bootcamp. 2 weeks to get out of the 170s ... you can totally, totally do it! and i am 100% sure that at the end of the week, you'll be able to double up on your fitness eval. you'll have to keep us all updated.. and we'll be alongside you the whole way!
audri - 174.4! yay! the fact is that you saw it on the scale today and that was your weight for that second -- and that counts.
and jaimie - 176.6 - woooohoo!!!!
---
i'm taking a braek from weighing myself every day - just until monday - as i was driving myself totally crazy. i had a rest day yesterday and worked out today, my eating today has been on calorie, but not necessarily the best food - i gotta work on that. tomorrow, i' going to go for a run. truthfully, i find that the hardest workout - but i always feel the best afterwards!
My first day in this thread and I weighed in at 178... I am loving the fact I can track just how fast/slow I'm losing so I can continue doing the things that get the best results!
Kay - You are so close! I'm sure you will be solidly into the 160's before next week.
avie - I know what you mean about driving yourself crazy. When my weight bounces up and down a lot I can't weigh every day or I obsess about it and think about it all the time. When it's a downward trend on most days I don't get like that.
ANewMeT - Welcome to the 170's!
This morning I was down to 173.9. I'm hoping it holds but I feel like my weight is always lower when I weigh at around 8 AM on the weekend than when I weigh at 5:30 AM on weekdays.
Audri- I think its really motivating to see those numbers, even if they don't stick right away, cause you feel like its doable! I love seeing them and if they go away I always try really hard to get them back!
Welcome Newme! You will love it here!
I was up today .2 to 176.8, but I know I am soooo outta here by the end of the month. I am going to kick butt! Woohoo go girls!!!
Jaimie - YAAAAYYYYY See? Snow sports are AWESOME workouts! I love skiing and snowboarding! I'm planning another day trip soon to visit my cousin, who lives close to another mountain we go to.
And congrats to all of the girls moving on to the 160s thread! I hope to see you there by Valentine's day!
So I have to confess for as awesome as I did on vacation last week (starting at sodium 180.2 for two days and dropping to 176.2, I did REALLY bad and binged/snacked the second to last day when we were just relaxing around the rental house and weighed in at 178.8 yesterday - ugh!. BUT yesterday I was perfect eating-wise and today I'm back to 177, so hopefully with a workout today I can get back to 176 tomorrow. Especially if I can go to the bathroom since I haven't in 3 days now, ugh! Need more veggies.
Hey Ladies! Hope this Monday is bringing you happy thoughts.
I am a slight bit discouraged given the fact that I've been sick since I've come back from California. I was able to workout last week and go to my new volleyball class (which is AWEsome!!!) but it hit me hard again this weekend and here I am on the couch. I try to tell myself it's not a race...it's NOT a RACE. But man, I want to get back to my routine! I'm sure tomorrow I will feel better. Til then I'll be hanging out with my tissues and tv.
