Remember - I'm sorry about your weekend :C But I hope you had fun at the zoo! I love the zoo, I'm going next Sunday

Jelbb - Congrats!!

Stella - Rest up and feel better!

Feral - Stay strong today, girl! You can totally do it!

Jess - Good job on stopping the binge. I feel ya on that one, the other day there was mini Reese's PB cups sitting out and I realized a while later that I just kept going back and grabbing one.

SO, the scale's still at 168 today, and maintaining is better than gaining because of sodium, so maybe I didn't miscalculate last night. No regrets, that salad was amazing.

Today I think my mom and I are going to the gym for an hour when she comes back from her morning meeting. But there's no classes, so I think we're going to try the machines. I've never done the elliptical before, so I'm going to see how that is.

Mary- The elliptical is easy...just dont fall off

Stella- Feel better... you just didnt go to work because I made you stay up late to watch big love

Shan- I love those earrings... I only ever wear studs... mostly silver balls... those would be a nice change up

Feral-Enjoy... I'm sure you will have fun tonight... I ate mexican on saturday and I'm pretty sure I ate a whole basket of chips by myself...

I woke up starving this morning...this never happens... so I actually ate a real breakfast...it was pretty nice if I must say

Shan - those earrings are beautiful! Lovely way to treat yourself! I have never heard of Etsy, however I think I will check it out.

Haley - Forest is right, it's not called a crackberry for nothing! It took me about 3-4 days to catch on to mine, now I'm hooked, like facebook hooked lol.

Feral - WHY OH WHY do we torture ourselves with them damn scales!!! I wish I had the courage to get rid of mine, but I need it! I havent weighed myself since Saturday, which is a MAJOR accomplishment for me, and I am going to try and hold off until Saturday coming. I also know that weighing myself once a month would be best, like right after my TOM and I'd never be let down! lol.

Question : Have any of you tried flatout wraps? and if so, opinion?

I'm heading to Boston for Easter Weekend and I already made my grocery list lol, but I always wanted to get flatout wraps and last year when I went I couldn't find them anywhere, but just wondering if they are worth my search! It's so crazy the stuff you can get in the states that you can't in Canada! Im stocking up on those yummy yoplait desert (like boston cream pie and white chocolate and raspberry) yogurts, Fage 0%, etc... lol hopefully I have enough money left over for the mall :P JK OF course I will!! If any of you have "staple" foods that I (as a Canadian) should be informed of...let me know so I can get it on my trip!

I woke up this morning thinking it was Thursday....how dissappointing.

Haley - Where are you woman?!!??!! Stella isn't at work and my gchat is lonellyyyyyyy! Jess is sleeping too. FOILED!!!!! You guys are killing me with Big Love. I must check it out now!

Mary - I'm interested to see what you think of the elliptical. I hate it.... it is the devil. However, I should totally do it more!

Jenny - I haven't tried the flat outs yet but actually almost bought some the other day. I've heard a lot of good things about them and people seem to like them. I know that doesn't really help. And yes... stupid scales. I just don't think I have the willpower NOT to weigh at least once a week. It's a motivation to keep going. Do you have a friend that could ship you food that you can get in the States? I mean, I guess you couldn't buy yogurt and have it mailed, but non perishables?

Corey Haim died. No more Coreys.... just Corey. I'm a lil sad about that... I love Lost Boys!

Feral - Yeah, I have lots of family scattered throughout the US and I get stuff mailed to them and then shipped to me - like...VITATOPS! mmmm!! And they send me swiss miss SF hot chocolate and apple cider...yummy! OR I get it mailed to them if there is a deal on and then pick it up when I go down for a visit!
I also couldnt imagine actually weighing myself in once a month...its a struggle not to do it everyday lol, let alone less than once a week..ahh the thought of that makes me wanna freak out lol.

Whats Gchat?

Jelbb- congrats! come join the 130s thread

Stella- I am jealous of your rest day. Hope it works and you don't get sick.

JennyG- Gchat is the chat function of google, if you have a gmail address. And I am a slave to the scale as well, but I am getting better, a little bit. Kudos to you for not weighing since Saturday.

Feral- Have fun tonight!

Remember- 5miles at the zoo definitely counts as a workout! That is a long walk

Mary- I think the elliptical is really good for mixing up workouts to keep your body from getting used to one activity. Sometimes I'll do 20mins bike, 20mins treadmill, and 20mins elliptical.

Haley- breakfast is my favorite meal of the day! sometimes if I'm goofing off before bed instead of going to sleep, I'll remind myself that the sooner I fall asleep the sooner I get to eat breakfast lol. I didn't used to be a breakfast person but now I can't imagine life without it

Jenny - what Forest said. If you have a gmail account its like an IM within it's own system. I pull it up at work and chat with people in my gchat to pass the time because I am kind of chained to my desk until the kids get out of school. So I talk to Haley, Stella and New Jess on there during the day. A few of my other friends have it too, but those are part of my routine.

Forest - I was never a big breakfast person. I still have to force myself to eat breakfast a lot but I LOVE breakfast food.

Forest - I planned on doing some sort of rotation like that, since I'm pretty sure there's a strict 30 minute limit on machines. Are they like treadmills with workout programs? Or is it more like a bike with resistance?

I'm a happy camper, I got the Almost Alice album (soundtrack to Alice in Wonderland) and I found the movie score as well, it's completely filled with Danny Elfman songs lol! So adding those to my already quite-full Alice in Wonderland playlist I have two and half hours of Alice-y music

So I read all that, but I'm too spacey for personals - other than yes, Mary, you can go on the treadmill without a program and the elliptical is AWESOME.

And yay for theme music.

I've been sleeping all morning. I just woke up and ate 2 sandwiches b/c I was hungry and dizzy, its only like...350 calories for both. I also alotted myself 400 calories for oj today - I get the reduced sugar kind so that's like 8 glasses. I kind of had a free-for all on chips last night at happy hour, so I didn't weigh this morning, hopefully today will set me right again (or at least Thursday will).

I'm sleeping until 2, then its off to school! I love how I'm about to set my alarm for 2pm...

I'm awake! So much to reply to! I lost track of who.

CUTE EARRINGS.

Haley - DC in August! I will definitely have a cook fest. By then, I should be up to like 100 recipes. I should publish my own book.

Stella - Feel better lady. You SHOULD give yourself some OJ. In college, I survived finals and sickness by taking Contac or Emergen-C. Don't know if they work for you but they worked for me.

Jenny - Fage is the same as greek yogurt right? I've never had it but I now have a reason to: http://www.carina-forum.com/ricette/...0000030_en.php

Apparently you can use greek yogurt as a substitution for fromage blanc (thank you Google!) so I might try that dessert recipe soon with my own twist. I never make desserts so those things I actually have to get recipes for.

I stuffed my face this morning with a Jessmcmuffin and a slice of toast with PB&J. I'm also starting to add in protein shakes. Cookies 'n cream flavored

Mary- It probably depends on the machine, but you can do it either way. I usually just set the incline and resistance manually, but there are different profiles that set it automatically, too.

Now I am going to have breakfast food for lunch--oatmeal and egg mug I had a burrito for breakfast so I guess that makes sense lol.

Afternoon Lovelies!

Lunch this afternoon was sandwiches from Honey Baked Ham (don't know if any of you have those near by but dang they're yummy!). They come in halves so I had half of a chicken salad on whole wheat sandwich and then I grabbed a ham sandwich and didn't eat the bread. Salad for my side. Didn't touch the desserts or chips. HOORAY!

Its been an interesting day to say the least. Only half a day with the kids but a LOT went on.

Oh! 2 of the ladies in the front office forgot my bday in November. They were freaking out over it for some reason... I mean, I don't really care. I don't make a HUGE ordeal about MY birthday, but I do love birthdays in general. I've worked with them for 2 years and never really done anything for them so I don't understand why it was a big deal all of a sudden. Today they bought me a bouquet of balloons, 2 thank you cards and a $20 Visa gift card to make up for it. Completely random and unexpected. It was really sweet. They said I never say no to them and that they really appreciate me being so willing to help out. *pat on the back*

I love random acts of kindness.

So..... going with the theme of this post.

THANK ALL OF YOU LADIES! Seriously, woudn't still be here without you on this journey. When I have a bad day and want to beat myself up, you guys help me out. When I have a great day and want to brag, you always encourage.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! <3

Thanks for the encouragement. Got my but to the gym today. I managed to get up early but I've been slow going. Finally got to the gym and did a short workout (only 30 minutes on the ellipitical). I use to not go to the gym if I couldn't get my minimum one hour in but then I realized that was just me being dumb.

Anyways now it's time to get to work. I figure get a couple hours of work in, I have all of the fixings for a great salad with chicken in the fridge so eat that for lunch and then an after lunch walk to starbucks (counting in the starbucks calories as part of my lunch).

Aww Feral - random acts of kindness are excellent!

I'll go along with Feral and thank you all for the listening and advising! Very much appreciated, and you've really helped me! And I love that I've found others in the same group as me who are striving for the same goals...especially getting out of the 190's!!!!!

2 more hours of work and then one hour at the gym..and then my day is done and I can go home and relax!!

Feral- aaw that is sweet And, Happy Belated Birthday

Remember- Good for you for going to the gym to get in a little activity even if it's only just a little. I used to be the same way- wouldn't go if I couldn't do a certain bare minimum. Now, paying for my own hot water, I'll go to the gym just to shower, lol, so getting in a couple of bicep curls is even better
