Air - :bravo: you are a willpower inspiration!!

so it just took me an hour and a half to get home from Annapolis which should have taken me 40 minutes.... I saw 7 cars in ditches and one really big accident... it wasnt even snowing when I left Annapolis...I was so stressed out I came home and took lots of bites of things lol

but dinner went really well... I had salmon and asparagus which is my favorite...I did have a margarita though :) a Pomegranate one... which is my fav... and no cheesecake or bread...which is like totally amazing... I deserve two gold stars for that

Anyways the date went really well... but I'm still holding my breath waiting for it to falll apart... or maybe I'll try Stella's positive thinking trick

PS Stella next time just kick that guy in his balls :)

UGH Haley I would've been so stressed out too!!!!! Great job on avoiding the cheesecake AND bread!!!! I think you can allow yourself a margarita ;)

Air - CONGRATS on avoiding the holiday bear traps!!!! I swear I've never seen so many people love food until I started working at a school. My official title is "Guidance technician." Basically I'm the Guidance office receptionist/b#%(#. LOL I'm in charge of all of the students' cumulative records.

Its snowing!!

Its so pretty - its the light, fluffy kind of snow. I'm so excited to wake up tomorrow morning and see all of the snow :)

When I get up to the mountains and get settled I'll go back and read through the last few pages - right now I'm getting ready to leave for my ski trip! I'm so excited!

Morning Ladies!

The only snow we got was the little bit during work yesterday. Now all we have is rain... luckily not freezing rain. :) To those of you (I know Haley for sure) that DO have snow... bundle up, stay warm and try to keep yourselves occupied for boredom eating!

My parents are already driving me nuts this morning. I haven't even had my coffee. Ugh. For some reason lately my mother won't let me do anything. If I'm cooking and go to wash the dishes... she starts washing them first. Granted she would rather wash than dry and I'm okay with that.... but I feel like she just won't LET me freaking do anything. Last night I started making the SBD version of Carabba's sausage and lentil soup (AMAZING BTW) and she comes in the kitchen and asks if she can cut anything. I HATE cutting onions so I let her do that so she ended up cutting all the veggies. Which was a NICE gesture, I really was thankful. This morning I wake up and I go to make coffee... and I'm getting the stuff out and she jumps in and is like "let me make this for you." WTF? I know it may sound odd... but the woman SERIOUSLY WON'T LET ME DO ANYTHING LIKE I'm 12 AGAIN.

She lost her job about 2 months ago so maybe it's just a control thing since she doesn't have a job? But she is driving me BANANAS!!!!

My dad, bless his heart, takes my cat to the vet this morning and goes to McDonald's for breakfast. He asks me if I wanted something.... HE KNOWS I'm doing SBD. HE KNOWS what that means... yet for some reason it just doesn't click in his head. It drives me crazy too.

UGH I'm already trapped under over a foot of snow in less than a 12 hour period... and its STILL snowing... I'm going to be stuck here with my crazy parents and a 7-11 in my front yard... not a real 7-11 but my dads business is a food truck thing...and yeah and it has lots of delish things on it right now... All I wanna do is EAT.... My mom is making breakfast right now... sausage and eggs and english muffins... I'm seriously going to get so fat this weekend... I think my treadmill and I are going to have to become friends again... actually I dont think we ever were really friends

I was supposed to bake cookies with my friends this morning... now I cant...It's the first year I've missed it :(

I'm snowed in and the boy toy is snowed in over an hour away...

Feral- Be happy... Your mom probably just wants to feel helpful like shes doing something instead of just sitting around without a job

Sgregg - that just made me throw up in my mouth already. He's married and yes, while he stares at my chest a lot, I seriously doubt he's doing that stuff because he likes me.

Haley - I'm stuck too. I think I'm going to make a large, healthy breakfast for myself. Snow just makes me want to eat, so I'm going to at least go the egg white route.

Feral - it probably is a control thing - or a she's bored thing. And dads are like that, they always just want to make us happy and dint get dieting, especially SBD.

Okay, snow - check. Warm, purring cat, check. Tyler on tv- oh yes :). I'd say I'm prepared for this. I hope all of you have a warm, safe day!!

Dannnnnngggggg!!!! Snow is a pain in the butt but it really is pretty!

My mom brought up a good point today... I can't remember the last time it snowed here before Christmas. It would've been so nice to see all of the Christmas lights and stuff with the white snow.

Supposedly there MAY be another chance for it here Christmas eve. If we had a white Christmas it would be AMAZING!

I'm sure my mom's issue is part control part not having a job, she's still driving me crazy though!

Haley- That snow is gorgeous! I head to Michigan tomorrow and am praying for a good dose (a couple feet) of snow during the two weeks I'm home. I talked to my 5yr old neice last night and she said its mostly gone (she talks nonstop heehee). I want to see the beautiful snow!

Can I just say, I really thought Maryland was too warm to snow. Does it snow everywhere in the state?

Yes it snows everywhere in the state.... funny... I live about as far south as possible and we have seemed to get the most snow... very strange... the amount in those pictures has practically doubled... I havent seen this much snow in ages

Haley- wow the snow is beautiful!!!!! thanks for sharing pictures for those who are snow deprived. I saw snow a couple days ago, but it was just a few inches in the socal "mountains". The snow on the slopes is all man-made.... and hard to fall on!

Feral - good luck with your mom! My mom is the same way... when i come home she wants to help with everything, and I just want to do my own thing lol

Air - i bet you'll get snow in Michigan.... it seems like there's always snow there.

Supposedly Maryland hasnt gotten this much snow since like the 70's... Um we had a blizzard back in 96 and everything was a mess for over a week... this royally sucks... and I just found out that neither side of my familes are celebrating Christmas... I have never spent a Christmas at my house with just my parents...should be interesting
