Haley- I love Christmas so not celebrating would be awful!! My parents just told me our traditions are changing this year (my grandma died in April thus the reason for change) but I guess I am okay with it. Last year, I would not have wanted change, but I'm okay with it now.

I usually have Christmas with just my parents. My family is very spread out all over the country (my grandparents actually live in Annapolis hehe). But yeah, I like it. Small Christmas... very intimate and stress free =)

I have one aunt and uncle in the area that go and visit one of their daughters out of state for Christmas. So its just me, my parents and my bro. Really low key, no drama.... and you don't feel FORCED to keep up a presentation or spend time with family you don't really like. Does that sound horrible?

When I was a Junior in college we got this much snow (in Towson) - the school was shut down for 6 days. I keep going outside to clean my car off, its now up to over my knee. I'm like okay this is pretty but I'm ready to go nuts. I cleaned my apartment, did laundry, washed my sheets, vacuumed scrubed the floors and I've been knitting - oh and stuffing my face, but thanks to all the vegetables in the house that's not really a problem.

One of my friends gave me a bottle of rum last night. I wish I had some soda (and some company) to pop that baby open. I'm slightly against drinking alone, but my friend Jessie said that if we're talking to each other on gchat while both of us are drinking, that doesn't really count as "drinking alone."

I may take her up on this offer later :)

LOL Drinking alone is only a problem if you do it on a consistent basis. I think you have an excuse right now. Although it is usually more entertaining when there is someone else with you!!!!!

I've cleaned and organized and gone through a bunch of old crap... I'm currently being my crafty self and making paper flowers... so my fingers should hurt really bad tomorrow... I played in the snow with my dog...Kind of... I live on a main road and you cant even see the road ugh... the snow plows can't seem to keep up bc it still hasnt stopped snowing...we definitely have a good 20 inches here....

Hang in there Haley!!!!! I hope you have lots of movies to keep you occupied! :) I don't have snow and I've been a bum on the couch all day. Facebookin' it up and perusing the internet while watching movies on TV all day. :)

Feral I've been watching lifetime movies all day while cleaning and organzing and terrorizing my room... I've changed pictures out of my picture frames and everything... I dont do well being couped up when I know I dont have the option to leave

winter in SD is usually high's in the upper 60's and low's in the 40's. Sometimes it goes into the 30's and maybe once a year to freezing and everyone freaks out that their flowers might die... it's pretty funny. When it rains in san diego, there are like 300 accidents on the roads because people think they can still drive 85 on a wet freeway while talking on their cell phone. Plus it doesn't rain very often, so the roads are really slick. Especially the first rain of the year in fall... because there's tons of oil and junk on the streets after going 6 or 7 months with no rain at all. plus the ocean gets polluted for a week from all the runoff... no bueno

Haley - I'm on FB if you get bored and wanna chat. LOL Lifetime movies are so funny. They aren't all that bad, I find myself getting sucked into them on rare occasion.

Jess - I live in North Carolina. I don't think I could handle a Christmas that wasn't cold... actually, I could if it was some place tropical. Maybe I'll join you and Haley on the beach!!!!! Random question for you -- since I've started SBD I haven't been as hungry. Still in P1 - I've been eating til I'm full. Def trying to balance out veggies and proteins. On WW I kept within my points but snacked throughout the day.... I'm just not as hungry. I'm not complaining, just wanna make sure my metabolism is doing what it needs to. Tomorrow is official weigh in since I weighed last Sunday.

So the ex roomie and his girlfriend randomly dropped by - they got my attention by throwing snowballs at my window. When I went outside to tell the idiot kids to stop it I realized it was them. We finished up my baked ziti - so now I won't eat it all alone - and I'm going to eat brownies. Its snowing. I'll pay for this tomorrow and Monday and Tuesday - I'm planning on spinning both days with running tomorrow.

Feral - The same thing happened to me. You are supposed to eat until you're full, and the idea is that you should never really be HUNGRY... ever. I seriously have to set myself an alarm to remember to eat snacks and lunch. Otherwise I just go about my day and before I know it I'm starving and its 4 pm when i was supposed to have lunch at 1. Since you are eating such high quality foods, they give you the full feeling for a long time. Its pretty awesome if you think about it. I find that they make you feel really GOOD too.... just in the all-around sense. But yeah, make sure sure are sticking to the schedule and eating 6 times, regardless of if you feel hungry or not. The idea is to kick your metabolism up so that you're digesting food practically all the time.

Jess- I would be watching Wall-e but the Russian stole it last time he was here... well actually I bought it for him in the first place but he forgot it so I was like yay its mine...but not anymore... I'm watching football now...My cowboys are winning :)

A few people came over last night to watch movies, he didn't come because he was afraid of the snow. It would have been awesome if he was snowed in with me, but he probably would have felt terrible that he wasn't there to shovel his mom out.
