Okay so I'm not eating for the rest of the day.

There was a big meeting, and in the meeting was a cheese plate. We stalked our admin until the meeting finished and she put it in the kitchen and then we descended like wolves onto a helpless caribou. I was also eating blueberries and cherries at this time (which go so well with cheese) and then I had a lunch date with an ex roomie (not that one) - so yeah, I logged my calories and I'm at 1100 for the day - my planned dinner is 270, so that's not as much of an issue as the fact that I am SO UNCOMFORTABLE.

But god is cheese wonderful. And I didn't even get a migraine :)

Cheese is my favorite food... I made the kiddie a grilled cheese for lunch... I may or may not have eaten half of it....

Am I the only weirdo that doesn't really like cheese? I mean I like cheese on pizza, LOVE Parmesan cheese. Hate swiss... I think it tastes like what I would imagine dirty socks would. Pretty much anything with a crazy strong flavor I'm not a fan of.

So this afternoon was TRYING... The county decided to release the kids an hour early due to weather. It started snowing, the kids were out of hand. My phone was ringing off the hook with parents calling to see if/when school was getting out. Kids were in and out of my office calling home to make sure they had rides. Then when school WAS released some little s$#@ pulled the fire alarm. I was the ONLY person in office staff that didn't leave early apparently.... because next thing I know BFF and everyone on the other side of the office was gone. I had 2 kids left in my office that were waiting on rides. The principal came by which it is TECHNICALLY her job to take care of this situation and I would've really hoped she would say "go home" considering all of the office staff live at least 30 minutes away. So who knows what time everyone else went home and I didn't even leave work until 2:20 almost. GRRRRR. /rant

Good news is I'M HOME!!!! I am working part of the day on Monday but I don't have to deal with CHILDREN! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!

I brought home a ton of goodies I can't have. I ate lunch and then I was wanting to get in the candy really bad, but instead I had a choc/peanut butter cup (fudgesicle + 1tbsp natural PB).

Wooo. Hope you ladies have had a less stressful day!

I just attacked cookies upstairs. Treadmill later? Yes. Dinner? Noooo.

I hate swiss cheese too. And blue cheese. But I LOOOOOOVE brie and parmesan and mozzerella and all the milder ones. I guess it's a good thing I'm lactose intolerant and can only handle small amounts of dairy or else I would blow up even more!

A few things.

1) We had a status telecon this morning where we were discussing one of my protocols. Our boss wasn't on the call, so after lunch I went and talked to her - its an ongoing issue and we're having another telecon on Monday - so the jacka$$ - who has NOTHING to do with my study, he knows nothing about it - comes into my office and goes oh, did you tell S about what happened this morning on the call with xstudy? I was like uh YEAH (and yes, I did say that like a snotty little brat - I have senority over him) and he goes oh, okay I just want to make sure she's updated on everything. OH REALLY HOW ABOUT YOU DO YOUR OWN WORK AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT STUFF YOU HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT

2) We have to do these training calls with sites - not a problem, they're usually under an hour - and he goes oh, I don't mind doing them, except when there's a female doctor - they all have inferiority complexes and ask so many questions. I'm not saying that like I'm sexist, I"m just saying, you can tell they feel the need to prove themselves OR THEY'RE JUST TRYING TO GET THE DETAILS

3) We're expecting snow. Duh - he lives near me. He comes in to my office, so, do you have uh snow shovels? No, I don't, the apt complex takes care of that. OH, well if you need me to come over and clean off your car, just let me know. FIrst of all, if I needed help, you'd be the last person I"d call b/c one of my ex roommates lives in the same complex. Secondly, I'm from NJ, I've been shoveling snow since I was 7, I think I can handle it, despite the fact that I'm a poor, helpless woman (who could probably kick your a$$)

He did that - I had cookies - then came home and did C25K Week 3 and had a veggie burger and a lot more veggies. I hope I'm not too over - fitday says I can eat up to 1700 calories and lose, so we'll see.

Alright, just under 1700, here's hoping that exercise helped. I'll behave tomorrow. I haven't had a stress-related binge in a while like that - and it was kind of small considering what I used to do. Cookies are my downfall. They're little bites of happiness.

Stella- sorry you have to deal with that. I hate it when guys think that you need their help.... we are big girls, we can handle it!!! good job on the recovery from your cookie monster attack :) i totally understand...

Okay, I survived! I haven't cheated yet today!!! We had tacos, chips, dessert today for our class party. I made lettuce wraps and didn't touch the chips ( I LOVE THEM SO SO MUCH). Then one of my parents (My class is 77% Hispanic, 18% Black and 5% Indian) brought in homemade beans and rice!!! Mexican food is my uttermost weakness. I decided I would eat it and just pay for it (I would gain 1-2lbs overnight)later. Then I changed my mind, abstained, and survived to tell about it :)
