So today I went roller blading with a friend for over an hour. I had decided to call that my workout for the day. I got home and watched the biggest loser. One of the contestants talked about how they had an 'electric fence': a number that they could never get below. For me, in the last year, 180 has been my electric fence. After the episode I went to the gym. Hopefully I can break through it soon.
I think that I will be seeing the lower half of the 180's in the morning! AND...I have just begun TOM. That means that the 170's really should be a lot less than 2 weeks away! It's like waiting for santa to get here lol!
Not weighing this week. TOM just started and I'm staying with a teammate for spring training...no scale. So, just hoping I don't gain/maybe can lose a little even with the really weird mandatory meals/times.
gatorgirl don't let it get you down!! You will do it! We all will do it! I don't know what you're doing as far as exercise or eating...but i was stuck at 185 for 2 weeks, until this last weekend i said "screw it, i'm not going to kill myself this weekend" and i allowed myself a break and had more calories than normal (nothing crazy, but more than normal) and on weigh in monday, i lost weight! Just don't beat yourself up!
So after not weighing in for almost 2 weeks (so difficult to stay away from that scale!), I'm finally out!!
I weighed in at 179 this morning (just finishing TOM) after being stuck at 182 for almost a MONTH!
Good luck ladies, I know you can do this, see you soon in the 170s!! Woohoo!
Well, I am still working and trying to keep my head in the right spot, but I just want this weight to go down. I was at 181.6 today. Not bad, but it just wont go down. I am working out hard frequently, and eating right (most of the time). I think it could be a birth control issue. I started taking the pill about 6 weeks ago. I have been having 'spotting' that is almost like an additional period each month. This recently happend about 7 days after my last period, and had lasted 5 days so far. I could lose once this ends, but it is really frustrating. When my doc prescribed this pill 2 months ago she said I could see some spotting the first couple months, but it should go away. I am not sexually active currently, so I don't know if I shouuld stick it out or just go off the pill. ugh. I wish losing weight was easy.
