I'm back from my cruise vacation and while I was up 1.8 lbs yesterday, I lost 1.4 lbs of it when I weighed in this morning. Obviously a lot of that was sodium!

I had some great food in moderation and now I'm just trying to get back on plan and work toward my next little goal of 232. That was the lowest I got when I was losing weight last time and then at 225 I'm going indoor skydiving

Thanks for the welcomes everyone!! (me exercising)

Having a hard time getting back into the swing of exercising. Blah. I feel like whenever I get out of the loop (me or something out of my control) it is SO HARD to get working out again. The food part isn't as hard for me for some reason. Anywho....that's my goal--keep up the working out. I did 30 min on the elliptical and 40 min walking outside tonight.

I think staying away from cokes/pepsi's are helping with my big ups and downs that I was having this time my up wasn't as bad as before. No exercise today because I just didn't have time (though I wanted to). I did errands uptown today and that ate into my exercise time. In between it all I had to pick up the kids from school. After getting home I had college classes/work/homework....(math is kicking my behind this semester). In the middle of that I had to fix dinner and squeeze in weighing myself. I can't believe how hard my math course was today took me a couple hours or more along with stuff for my other class. Busy busy busy today. By the time all was said and done it was late and dark outside (10 pm to be exact). I would have much rather had to exercise then do my work today . I can't wait until my math courses are over finally. Ok, my rant is over.

heathermichigan - Good weigh in dust for you as well. And a belated to you as well (sorry I didn't see your post).

- Thanks. I surprised myself yesterday I couldn't believe I had made that much progress this time around.

love2b150 - Frosted flakes are not a problem but doughnuts are especially the Hole-in-One Doughnuts. They are really hard to cut yourself off at on only one doughnut. I thought Cokes and Pepsi's were going to be the hard ones to stay away from but I didn't remember just how good those are. They are literally worse the those two combined for me . It was so so hard to stop at one and a half.

qtapostolic - I got a small whoosh today and it made me happy to see after the torture I was going through with my math. It's surprising how much of a boost seeing the numbers drop can do to your bad day .

Morning everyone!

Thank you all so much for the motivation yesterday! I do feel like I will never be at or even near goal weight but this IS a lifestyle change. I am going to try and focus on my lifestyle change which will be bringing me closer to goal, rather than focusing on the goal itself. Todays weigh in was another 1.2lb loss, 293.6. Hopefully within the next day or two I will get back to where I was before my sons birthday weekend!

suzukigurl I bet you will be seeing a nice whoosh soon! It will take you right into the 230s! You are totally ROCKING 2012!!!!!

Underwater I sooooo want to go skydiving!!

9 days Diana! I'd be super pissed!

Good Morning to all my 3FC Friends

Kind of excited for a Mommy day today... I have a Dr appt for a check up and then it's all about me! Mani/Pedi and I am thinking a few hours at Barnes & Nobel for some coffee and reading. I have to say I already miss my Little Guy but I know he is having a good time at Daycare. When I worked full time I was lucky to find an awesome daycare but now that I am home with him 99% of the time every so often I take him back there so I can have a me day.

Another 1 lb loss today from sodium I ate on the trip! I'm not LOWER than I was when I left on my vacation! I am so close to breaking through my lowest during the last time I lost weight! So excited!

Morning all,
I'm down a little today, .4lbs but I can't complain, a loss is a loss. I think I need to increase my water intake. I was really good about that last week and I think it really helped so I'm going to try and get that back up over the next couple days. I've also been slacking a bit on my exercise so that needs to improve!!

Diana: Day 9?! That sucks! I hope it ends soon

OnaMi: Thank you!! Trying to keep hope alive can be hard some days!

justaloozer: Way to go on the 1.2lbs loss! And I think you're right to focus on the lifestyle change and not the numbers. I think the more you do that the less daunting it is!

Future Thoughts- Good for you! You have to be true to yourself. I have a friend who also went to law school and now owns a successful business. He never did pass the bar. He told us before taking the exam that he didn't want to be a lawyer. His heart wasn't in it. I have three degrees and changed careers three times. Who knows what is next? It's the journey, right? And a little education never hurts anyone I wish you luck with everything.
love2b150 I'm not sure exactly when I reached 150. I was 194 in November 2010. It took me one year to get to 135, which I reached around December 2011. I then took the last 4 months off because I wasn't motivated. I am finally motivated again to lose the last 23 pounds. I lost the entire amount without exercise and I alternated between 1200 and 1400 calories (logged calories each day in a little book). I just started exercising for the first time last week b/c these last 23 are really tough and my metabolism is very slow now. Hope this helps! Let me know if any more questions. Also, it would be so nice if I could have an uncoordinated partner in my Zumba class! I wouldn't look so bad! There is an 85-90yo woman in there who is super fit and coordinated. She makes us all look bad All I know is that I am such a no exercise, junk food junky. So if I can lose the weight, ANYONE can!!!

No WI today! Jogged last night and Zumba/power pump this Morning.Probably won't WI for a couple of days,Morning/evening gym classes the rest of the week


My goodness Rennie,you made me tired just reading all you have to do Phenomenal women,that's what you are great job with your weight Ya,know..I've gotten to the point where I pick my times to go to the track now cause I don't want(don't like) so much attention,starting to make me feel uncomfortable Even though the people I've known from the start are really nice and complementary,Still..
But When i meet up w/someone i haven't seen in a while,I'm busy complementing them cause most have done great, talk about what they've been up too and encouraging the ones that are still fighting on.
