AKA I'm glad the scale is moving again, for you!

Rennie We have been using the A/C for about a month now. DH is very hot natured. Ha Ha We've got to have a sense of humor with what we go through.

Steph Hang in there! You will be through the 4 weeks in no time.

Mags89 Hi and Welcome! Great job, so far!

Muggles Great job on the 1.2 pounds yesterday and another today!

Kifli Congrats on that pound!

Justaloozer Great job on the 2 pounds! I think IHOP has all of their nutritional information online. That might help you decide what to get. Plan ahead. It makes it so much easier. You are not looking at all of those delicious pictures on the menu. Place your order and you are done!

Kukkie Here ya go! I hope you had a productive day!

Suzukigurl You are on a fantastic roll! Eleven pounds so far this month! That's awesome!

Qtapostolic I agree with Ona about eating protein and veggies for a couple of days. That should help. In the mean time

I'm sure I missed someone. I did the best I could playing catch up. If I missed you, you get a special tonight.

Have a great evening and sleep well.

Hi ladies!

Just wanted to check in with everyone . Im sorry i can't do personals, but im just not up to it yet.... I did want to let you all know that I do think of you on the board and the support you give each other and it helps me!! I wish I could return the favor. I'd like to say someday soon ill be able to, but I fear not. Once the semester is over (last final semester of law school ) I'll be more nutty than now! I'm entering a program to get a nursing degree and I have to take pre-reqs for it....so as of may 21 ill be in class for 34 hours Mon-Thurs, then studying for the bar exam (take it in July) on Fri-Sun. It's going to be rough.

Well anyway, just wanted to say hi and let you know I'm hanging keep helping each other!

I just hit the 10 pound weight loss mark today. I'm a little worried about it going up again and that this is just a tease . I went for an hour walk today and was determined to finish even though it started sprinkling and then ended up lightly raining on me. I kept looking up and making sure I didn't see lighting or hear it, neither did I see any signs of really bad weather. I guess when you live in Florida all your life you pick up on the signs. It was really kinda nice to walk in the light rain, it was hot and muggy before so it cooled me off. It was a very nice surprise. My husband laughed when I came in and told him about how determined I was to reach the 60 mins mark in the rain . I guess it was kinda silly but there it is.

love2b150 - I love frosted flakes to and I still eat them for breakfast sometimes. They aren't too too bad in calories but I guess if you really like them you'd be in trouble . Kinda like me and Coke/Pepsi I really have to limit myself with those. I guess it wasn't a plateau number for me (I also hope that I didn;t just jinx myself ).

qtapostolic -

suzukigurl
- on the .5 pounds.

justaloozer - Great work on your 2 pounds.

Angie - I think that may be part of my problem for jogging I have the wrong shoe for it but on the other hand it does good for me at walking. Unfortunately, I haven't found "the one" brand when it comes to buying shoes .

Hi Guys! Going to bed late and have to get sleep b/c I'm hitting a Zumba class tomorrow morning. Haven't had a chance to read everyone's personals yet, but hopefully soon! Sticking to 1200 cals per day for the last 3 days, but ate more like 1500 today. Tomorrow will be my second time working out in a very long time. G'night.

Thanks everyone, the must have worked I really behaved myself yesterday, only 1,020 cal., about 20 cups of water, and walked 2 miles for a 1.6 lb drop today
Onami & Diana thx for the advice about protein and vegs. When I started in Jan. that's all I ate with just a tiny bit of carb with dinner. I forgot I was doing that so I'll get back to it and I bet I'll see some nice numbers pretty soon. I'm so glad I have you guys to help me get my head on straight!!
Rennie ok my turn they should have a smiley that has the lil' dudes taking turns kicking each other It sounds like you have a thing for frosted flakes like me with pizza--once I start I just can't stop Right now I'm really trying to concentrate on one day at a time and realizing I"m not loosing weight for an event or other people, this is for me, for my life and I want to see results. So, One day at a time, one choice at a time, one pound at a time. We can do this!! Once we get to our goal weights we'll have to plan to meet up in person to celebrate! Road Trip
Jinxy 10 lbs!
Suzukigirl you're awesome! thx for being an inspiration
kifli you'll have to let us know how Zumba goes for you. They have a Zumba class at our community center but I haven't had the "urge" to get it in gear and try it out.
Justaloozer house cleaning is def. a workout! 2lbs!
KukkieI can't drink coffee, but I keep it on hand for friends when they come over so I will share virtually
muggles every lil' bit adds up!
mags89 I loved my first week too! It's nice that our bodies reward us for taking the first step in the right direction. Just keep going!
Well I gotta get moving for the day, so to anyone I missed, have a terrific Friday!!

HayDiana

Great job on the 1.6 Kelly

Have fun @ zumbaKifli

As for me..WI @ 158.2! Up.4... Really expected to be up more so I'm happy. TRX kicked my butt last night(legs and stomach muscles were cramping) I did Zumba too and I ate a little more yesterday(1450/ more carbs).Have been eating around 1250-1300 but didn't think that was enough for all the exercising and thinking that that's why I've been holding steady for 3 days Still just trying everything I can to move some more fat.I'm going to fight till the end Was on the track this morning and saw a lot of old friends It was so nice to see them I even stayed longer and walked with them They asked me am i coming tomorrow but tomorrow is Zumba and TRX at the gym

OnaMi
- Yep, Get 'R' Done.

qtapostolic & Diana - didn't last too long. I gained about .2 pounds today bringing my weight up to only loosing 9.9 pounds total today. I'll get it off just need some more willpower dust I guess.

Hey everyone!

I went completely off track today and ate out TWICE. The sodium will be a killer the next couple of days. But it is my sons 6th birthday and he said it was his best birthday ever! Back OP tomorrow!

Muggles Great job on the 1.4 pounds.

Jinxy Hi

Justaloozer Nothing wrong with enjoying your DS's birthday out. I'm glad it was a great day for him. Just get right back to your plan tomorrow.

Hi everyone! So I did Zumba today for the second time. I love Zumba! If you haven't tried it, you really must! I am being 100% honest when I tell you that I do not know even one person more uncoordinated than me. I look so foolish in any aerobic /dance class. But the point is to lose weight and get fit, right?! So I'm going for it! And I HATE exercise...any form. I don't know if all Zumba classes are this good, but the person who leads it makes it feel like it's just dancing to funky music.

My official one week weigh ins are on Fridays, so I am down 2 pounds. I took about 4 months off because I was just blowing it and non-motivated. I think this is a good start for me, anyway.

Future Thoughts What you are doing is so interesting. Keep persevering...I know exams, dual degrees are a killer. Is the nursing degree for medical knowledge or will you be working in the medical field? Just curious! I usually eat with more stress, so good for you for working so hard!

Jinxy - Great job on the 10 pound loss! Woo HOO! I also had a doughnut tonight. I bought one for my little boy and one for myself...I caved. (skipped dinner and now I'm hungry. Trying so hard not to go to the fridge right now!)

OnaMi - I love your determination. Have fun at Zumba and TRX tomorrow!

Suzuku Girl - All I can say is WOW...Your Awesome! Nice work.

Muggles - Nice Start! Very inspirational

Justaloozer - Happy Birthday to your son! I always make exceptions for birthday celebrations. (Cake is my favorite dessert).

Qtapastolic - Congrats on the 1.6!

Diana - Hi and thanks for the 'Congratulations'

Good Morning, Everyone! I hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Calories for yesterday: 1460 +
Weigh In: 148.4 (TTOM)
No Change (I am happy about this. We ate at Olive Garden last night. My calories were good, but the sodium is always high. It's TTOM and I have had a couple high sodium days this week. It will regulate itself.)

I was STARVING last night. I had already eaten all my calories for the day but I had a small KIND bar (fruits and nuts) at just 180 calories and it was enough that I was able to go to sleep. While I am not happy that I went over my calorie limit, I was thrilled that I did not binge (as I would have last month). And I even still lost 0.1!
