Today I did a shorter, faster run, and boy did it wear me out! I wanted to get to 2.5 miles (I was doing 5mph at 1% incline, up from my usual 4.5mph), but I couldn't quite make it that far. Still, I'm happy I was able to do as much as I did at that speed - my heart rate was above 90% of max when I stopped, so I was clearly really pushing myself! Next run this week will be longer and slower again but with higher incline, and then sadly I'll have to stop running again for a few weeks (have to stick to light activity only for medical reasons). Hopefully I'll be able to pick it up again later though.
