I remember now how much I loved Atkin's before. I've tried it twice before but always went off plan because of money. Yes I know you can do Atkin's on a budget, but I was literally eating Ramen for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Things are great now, but we're getting better financially.

Well this morning I was 175! That's 6lbs in 2 days. WOO HOO!

Today is day 3 of Induction.

Well, i'm still up from my "bad" week...overall I'm doing well, all things considered. At least I'm maintaining...lol. I started P90X a few days ago, so hopefully that will help me along...congrats to everyone on their success and determination so far. Congrats to those who fall and keep jumping back up!

Default Thank You, LoriAs!

Thank you for your kind words! Since I didn't have the complete details of this weight loss program then, I should be more motivated to do this now because of the overwhelming support I get from you and others. I am more equipped to do this now.

Oh how do you make broc, cauli, salad? That sounds yummy ... And I'll try the smashed cauliflower that way tomorrow that sounds good too ...last night I tried doing it with cream cheese and a tsp if Wise onion dip mixed in and it was pretty good ... So I have leftover of that to eat tonight.

Rho - will have to look it up but basically broccolli, cauliflower, bacon, onion (optional), parmesan cheese (can throw in 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar too), mayo, splenda. Let set overnight if you can. Mix and eat. I don,t use many measurements, I think cup of mayo and 1/2 cup of splends.like I said will try to check when I get a min

Already fell off the wagon. Ate white rice and chips today. I ordered beef&broccoli + moo shu veggies from a chinese restaurant today and ended up eating the white rice that I got for my friend to go with it. Why!????
I think it's because I never detoxed this time around. I ate artificial sweeteners and nuts too early. I figured that since I ate them before I stopped doing Atkins I could add them in immediately--definitely not the case.

Starting fresh tomorrow. More veggies, no sweeteners (except Crystal Light, can't live without and it was never a problem before). No peanut butter or sugar-free candy or Atkins bars or any of that stuff that I binge on.

Breakfast: omelette with sausage and cheese
lunch: garden salad w/ grilled chicken
snack: olives
dinner: chicken w/ leftover moo shu veggies (no chinese pancakes)
drinks: water, crystal light, maybe a diet coke from work

Oh my goodness that sounds wonderful! I am so going to the store later for broccoli and cauliflower. Do you add the bacon just before serving so it stays crispy or do you add it in the beginning ...

Thanks!

I am beginning to think I don't stand a chance at making this one. I just made it through my 6th day of P90X and i'm finding I'm constantly hungry now. No matter what I eat, I still need more! Also, I know if i stick with the P90X I will hopefully gain muscle mass which will affect my weight loss...small price to pay! lol

I'm going to lower my carbs again. I must have some major insulin resistance since I can't lose weight unless my carbs are pretty low. The problem is that I feel bad on very low carb. I'm going to have to find that balance. I also need to see a new doc about my thyroid problems. I think once I get that fixed I will feel better overall. I gotta wait until 90 days for insurance to kick in at my new job.

I think I'll eat more salads this time and not be as strict on the veggies...

Rho always put the bacon in with the rest, adds flavor. But good idea. May add more after for extra crunch.

I had a 'bad' diet weekend. I had a blast though! Back on track today. I hope I didn't do to much damage the last 2 days. My downfall is always alcohol. I love to drink. When other people are drinking I want to as well. I have a hard time staying dry for more than a week. Doesn't help that my husband drinks a lot. It be a lot easier to stay dry if it wasn't in the house all the darn time!

Oh my period is also starting this week. Really hoping I'll be able to flush a bunch of water weight out!
