Someone please answer! When I look at the cholesterol content of this food I get scared. I have very high cholesterol and the amount of cholesterol on the packages look daunting.

I joined in 2002 to loose 50 pounds and did so in about 5 months. Went from a size 14/16 to a size 4/6. I am almost embarrassed to say that I did not do a stitch of exercise. I was working full time and a mom of 2. I went from feeling like a frumpy fat lady of 35 to a slim woman who could wear a 2 piece bathing suit and designer clothes. Kept it all off for over 5 years. At that time the food was decidedly mediocre, but I rejoined in December of 2011 because about 30 of those 50 lbs. crept back over the last few years. I know this program works well and quickly if you stick to it. No cheating! I was OK with eating mediocre food again to take off the weight and feel awesome! The food has gotten quite a bit better in that time and now the frozen option really has elevated the taste of the food. Still very affordable too. I think you should try it if you are considering it. It might change your life in a matter of months. As for me I have l already lost 10 lbs in about a month. Without the discipline of this program, there is no way I could do that on my own.

Thanks for the level of specificity in your review. It is helpful and interesting. I will share with others my Nutrisystem experience. As someone who was slim for most of my life, I was upset and confused when my scale creeped up to 197. I arrived there through years of a sedentary lifestyle and consuming just a little more calories each day than I burned off. I was determined not to reach 200. Period. Though I read online claims that NS food was "inedible," I reached a point where I would have happily eaten bread and water if that's what it took to get the scale moving in the opposite direction. I adhered 100% to the Nutrisystem plan and lost thirteen pounds in my first month. One of the things that previously discouraged me from trying NS was the "results not typical" disclaimer at the bottom of the ads. I wish NS would instead note typical results of people who adhered to the diet. At any rate, I had finally convinced myself to at least give it a try because even a one pound loss would leave me in a better position than I was at going in. My results may be greater than other first time users because I had recently packed on those last several pounds. My unscientific belief is that old fat is more stubborn than new fat, so a loss of even as few as 4 to 8 pounds in a month would have been thrilling to me.

Once I saw what the NS plan consisted of (including the supplemental produce and dairy,) I just substituted other foods of similar calorie/fat content for Nutrisystem's prepackaged meals and stuck to the rest of their daily plan. I lost another seven pounds the second month of freewheeling it. Over the course of five months I lost forty pounds. I admit I made no changes to my physical activity, though I now I should have. I noticed I was almost always full; a very different experience than before when I was overweight yet frequently hungry. There is a lot to say for stoking your metabolism with produce every 2 or 3 hours. To sum up, I'd recommend NS to anyone looking for a jumpstart to a diet who can comfortably afford it. To those for whom it would be a stretch, I would use some alternative meals, but organize and lay out all of the food for the day according to schedule to incorporate the "no brainer" aspect of the diet that helps make it a success.

I have been on NS for two months, down 9 lbs. I haven't lost more because I am disabled and sit at work. I do exercise on a stationary recumbent bike, but simply don't move around alot.

I don't mind the food, and if you really TASTE other convenience foods like WW or Lean Cuisine, they're not great. How much do you spend at Starbucks a day or week? Lunch at the office?

One nice thing too is that I have not been hungry after the first 3 weeks. Really. I also enjoy being under 200 lbs for the first time in years (5'9"). My goal is to remove 15 more lbs, another couple of months on NS. I will truly know appropriate portion sizes, be at a reasonable weight for better health, and no regrets.

Oh yeah, I went through Costco, and got 5 weeks of food for $249. I spend another $100, if that, on veggies, fruit, and Greek yogurt.

Interesting to read all of the comments on Nutrisystem. I've never posted on a site like this before, but I felt like it was worth doing so due to the good results I've had. I've been on the diet for four months. I have lost 23 pounds and lowered my cholesterol by 70 points. Pretty crazy. I combined the diet with exercising three days a week. The food isn't bad. Being a guy, this is the only diet that I've actually ever stuck with. I feel much better while being on the diet and have a whole lot more energy. Almost all of the foods are what I consider good. It's not quite as good as going out to eat at a fancy eatery, but that's what got me overweight and feeling sluggish in the first place. There was only one frozen dinner that I didn't like. Anyways, I have had good success with this diet and plan to continue it for another couple of months. I just felt it was worth making a comment on this sight as I came across it to offset all of the negative comments. I just haven't had the bad experience that others have mentioned on here.

I tried Nutrisystem much to my husbands dismay. The food is disgusting and I purchased 2 months worth of food (they send a box per month) and after a month and a half I was so burnt out on the food I stopped eating it, realizing my mile walk I was doing 5 days a week greatly had an affect on my weight loss it wasnt just the food. In that time I completely stopped eating the food and had it in my pantry and it was in there in its boxes un -opened for 2 1/2 weeks after I gave the program up. The morning I woke up to throw the stuff out I look up and there are maggots up the side of my wall in the pantry!!!! Now im a very very clean person my husband and I run a tight ship on keeping up with house work. So this was all new to me I have never in my life had anything like that happen to me I was LIVID. I open up a box of food to see where they were coming from and sure enough I paid hundreds of dollars for a maggot infestation. So I go and do some research on this garbage to see what other people had to say about the food and this one girl posted a review that mentioned maggots as well.. ask yourself what are you eating when you purchase this stuff?

I just started Nutrisystem today. So far I have had the apple strudel scone that tasted like a very dry, stale biscuit with a little bit of apple taste. It also had an underlying bad taste that I couldn't figure out. For lunch I tried the tomato and corn chowder and couldn't stomach more than a bite of that - awful! I tried the broccoli and pasta instead and it was worse. I had to eat my one dessert for the day - a white chocolate chunk cookie - just to get the taste out of my mouth. The cookie was very hard and very dry. I know you can't expect much from prepackaged foods, but they sure make it look a lot better on TV. I consider it false advertising! Low calorie frozen dinners from the supermarket are way better and cost less.

Three years ago I decided it was time to lose weight so I tried Nutrisystem for 3 months and ordered the customized menu for the items I wanted. I lost 50 lbs in those 3 months and have kept it off by going to the gym daily. I had the Nutrisystem meals and added a giant salad with low fat dressing daily. I didn't think the food was bad or I wouldn't have stayed with it for 3 months. It worked for me!

I love the NS plan because of its convenience. The food is just ok, but for a month I can do it. The salad, fresh fruits, yogurt, tuna, etc that you add will save you. It works!!! I just do it for 5 weeks to drop about 10 pounds and get myself going on portion control & moderation. It's not a party, it's a diet!! Stop the excuses and take control of your life. It's time to change. Add yummy fresh veggies and snack on them ALL YOU WANT! You can't go wrong!

Nutrisystem was literally a disaster. The food was inedible. I felt sick after eating it and it made me not want to eat ever. The customer service is awful. I called to cancel after my first month because I was fed up, and the lady that answered told me there was a fifty dollar cancellation fee. I was immediately angered by the idea. But, I told her i would pay it. Then she kept asking me why I was canceling, she badgered me! Then she offered me discounts on the next delivery after I told her I wanted to cancel. When I didn't take the offer, she had a really bad attitude, so I hung up. I would NEVER recommend it. EVER!!!!! NOT WORTH IT!

This is the best and most simplest plan for losing weight. The food is not that bad, no its no gourmet, but tis pretty good. And if you don't like it, it's not that hard to spice it up. And there are LOTS of choices. your not stuck with eating the same 2 or 3 foods every day (unless, of course, that is what you want to do!)

As far as the cost. I actually spend less now then I did before. And there is NO junk food in my house. Only healthy fruits, vegetables, dairy and NS entrees.

Convenience, can't think of anything that can be more convenient.

Too much sodium .... ha ha ha, not. High blood pressure, NOT, most everyone says they have lowered theres. High Cholestrol, NOT, same most lowered.

Most of these reviews are simply from people who do not seriously want to lose weight, so they are just making excuses. You can not go wrong with Nutrisystem.

People have such polarizing view on Nutrisystem. Those who are successful with it LOVE it; those who seem to not want to give it a chance lambast it. I changed my life around on November 1, 2008. I was nearly 40 and had a lifetime of eating badly and doing as little activity as possible. I have a very busy life/job and almost all my meals came from a fast food window or a restaurant with huge portions. I had acid reflux, sleep apnea and felt tired and run down all the time. I could not walk for any length of time without my legs hurting and was beginning to stare longingly at the motorized carts in large stores. Every morning when I got out of bed it hurt to walk. I hadn't been on a scale in many years, but I was wearing 3x (tightly) and 4-5x clothes. I was buying most things online, since even the large women's section in stores no longer had a size big enough for me. I think I would have been very physically limited within a few years had I not changed. And maybe dead within 10 years.

I'd tried diets before without long term success. Once, I'd lost about 50 pounds, but had regained it all pretty quickly. I have no time/inclination to buy a bunch of food on my own and portion it out. One day at work, I saw yet another NS commercial. I'd never really thought about it much; I don't care about what celebrity does what plan. But that day it really struck me that I HAD to do something. I was starting to think about bariatric surgery...and I know people who've had some severe complications, so it really scared me. I decided to research the different plans available. I'm fortunate to have a very good income, so I considered everything, even the more "gourmet" plans that send you freshly made meals. Those plans have very little variety to them though. I hate eggs and beans; won't eat them. So a plan that sends you an eggwhite omelet for breakfast is no good. NS ended up having the most variety where I could pick through the menu and choose stuff I'd like to try. I ordered at the end of October, 2008 and ordered a scale so I could figure out how much I weighed. 380 pounds stared up at me. Wow. Not good.

I started my life with NS and learned what a portion was. I had to eat 6 times a day. I never felt hungry. The NS online boards are VERY active and full of people at various stages of their journey. People there are very helpful in giving you hints, ideas, or just support. It's one of the greatest aspects of being on NS. You have a whole community of support. I started exercising slowly, with non weight bearing stuff first since I was so large. And you know what? It worked! My acid reflux disappeared and I started feeling much more energetic. The apnea disappeared. My clothes got loose then started looking ridiculous, like bags hanging off me. I lost 130 pounds in about a year and a half. I took the last 5 months off and regained about 25 pounds by not eating right all the time, but now I'm back on track and losing again. I look so much better and feel 100% better. I jump out of bed in the mornings with no aches/pains. I've done a triathlon this August! I've become very active: rowing, racquetball, swimming, biking, hiking, you name it. This program taught me how to eat and in return I learned how to live again. I want to lose another 80 pounds and plan to continue working out, losing fat and gaining strength.

In the end, I've learned above all else that you have to achieve that old standard: calories in must be less than calories out. You can't eat less than 1,000 calories a day or risk going into starvation mode and completely screwing up your metabolism. Eating frequent, small meals keeps you from getting hungry and keeps your metabolic furnace stoked. Exercising helps you burn more, improves your muscle tone and helps you feel good. It's not necessary for successful weight loss, but it definitely helps. Any way you achieve the necessary calorie limit will help you lose weight, no matter what plan you do (or if you just buy food on your own). For me, NS has been the answer with their easy to prepare food and preset portion limits. It's really a no-brainer for me and I order food from them that I know I love. For others, they may prefer another program or all fresh food. I just don't have the time or incliniation; since I love my NS meals this is where I'll stay. But whatever it is, stop whining about how little the portions are and what you think it tastes like. Everyone differs. The portions are what is supposed to be a meal. Not what we think they should be. Go find something that works for you and get going! Losing weight frees you in so many ways. GO DO IT and stop complaining. Or just stay fat and unhappy. Your choice. I made mine, and I don't plan on letting anything stop me from achieving my goal. Good luck.

I've lost 40pounds so far on the program and never felt better. I am a type-1 diabetic, with insulin resistance, and my AI-1 has NEVER in my life been better than it is now. I could go on and on about how NS has saved my life and allowed me to do things i've never thought possible because of weight limitations, but you'll have to excuse me 'cause I need to go heat up one of my shoddy dehydrated soups. Well...more for me then! <3

Also, so you don't think I weighed like 300 pounds and the weight just flew off, I started out at 175lbs (not morbidly obese by any stretch). So yeah, it works pretty darn well.

Speaking about "doing it on your own." How has that worked for you in the past? Nutrisystem works and it works well. I have lost 26 pounds and it was the easiest food plan I've ever followed. You don't have to measure, weigh or count calories - just eat. Some of the food, I'll admit, is not gourmet standards, but a little addition of veggies or spices and it is all good food. I guess it all depends on how much you want to lose weight and how much you are willing to put into it. If you want to continue eating the food that put on that 60 extra pounds, because it tastes good, so be it. But this program is working for a lot of people who are really serious about doing something about their weight. You should choose your next order and stick with it another month. If you aren't losing weight, you are doing something wrong and should call a counselor. They're there to help and I've never found a rude one.

Expensive?
<$10. a day
PLEEESSSEE! that don't buy you a hot dog at the stadium these days!

Taste? you have spices in the kitchen, flavor to taste [except salt of course]

Add-Ins? if you planned on losing weight you were going to buy these anyway.
Fruits, fresh vegetables, low fat dairy and whole grain low calorie bread.

All the complainers didn't see the magic of this system; it's portion control and being accountable for everything that goes into your system.

Some people already know what a correct portion is, they aren't here looking at "diet solutions" to be accountable for their fat butts. YOU can learn this on your own and Nutrisystem will let you use their online tools free without purchasing anything. YOU just have to commit to doing it.

I did; I lost 50 pounds in five months so far :)

and if you do decide to try their food; you can pick everything from day one (even using a COSTCO purchased card!) just do your research on their discussion boards (free) to see what people like/dislike. Everyone has different tastes.

I am glad I didn't read the reviews before ordering. I appreciate everyones opinions of course, but I for one love the NS plan. I am really surprised at how much of the food I really do like. For me it is worth every penny of the $260. I enjoy the variety, and the way I do feel full after eating. It also does make you aware of portion sizes.
If you don't mind fruits, veggies, yogurt and that (you do have to buy that) it is a great plan. My friend also did the plan and hates fruits and veggies. He would substitute the actual fruits with a fruit cup in syrup and drink a V8 juice as his veggies. He lost 30lbs.

I wish I could afford the Frozen plan. I'd be curious to see how that food tastes.

Due to a physical disability I can't exercise like I would like to and have had difficulty losing the 60 extra pounds I have been dragging around. I am a type II diabetic so it is doubly important for me to lose weight. I should have known better than to take the word of a celebrity about a product but in desperation I called to order the Nutrisystem D three weeks ago. I was told I had to take what they called "the favorites"package but could choose my own selections next month. If I signed up for two months auto ship they would ship free and knock off 50.00, bringing the month supply down to 249.00. Normally I research everything online if I am thinking about making a purchase but I never even thought about checking to see if folks were liking NS. My mistake! If I had read this site and several others before I ordered I would have saved myself two weeks of misery and 249.00. I can't believe some folks actually say this garbage tastes good. Not only does it not taste good, it is horrible in taste, texture, appearance, in every way. I didn't expect five star restaurant food but I was not prepared for what I received. I am not a picky eater at all but this is the worst stuff I have ever put in my mouth! I was so excited about being able to lose weight and now all I feel is depressed about what crud I'm going to have to eat next. It will take all the willpower I have to finish the last two weeks worth of garbage. I can't afford to ship it back or throw it away so I'm stuck with it. There is very little real meat in any of it, they rely on soy for protein. Soy has been linked with multiple physical problems and I never eat it. The only item I have eaten this last two weeks that isn't truly awful is the fudge graham bar and it's not high in nutrition. My cat took one sniff of the Stroganoff thing, jumped backward, blinked his eyes a few times and walked off, and he'll eat anything. Also, my blood sugar has gone up considerably since I started NS, which is not a good thing. Even though I had committed myself to following through with NS as long as it takes to lose the 60 pounds, I can't bear the thought of months of adding hot water to dehydrated soups and eating gravy with a few bits of something floating in it. I called today to cancel any further orders and was told they would cancel but would bill me 52,00 since I didn't fulfil my two month contract. This is crap! Not only is the food hugely overpriced, they want to penalize you if you can't eat it. Customer service is rude and could care less. Bottom line, we just need to sit down and make a menu plan we can live with and lose this fat on our own with good, nutritious food instead of taking what seems to be the easy way. There is no easy way to lose weight. We just need to use common sense and patience.

I got a huge box of Nutri System food on ebay. Enough for 5 weeks for $155.00 including shipping.

The box arrived yesterday and last night I sorted the box out into bags each containing enough food for one week.

It turned out to be a great assortment too. Well, maybe a little heavy on the pasta, but how can I complain for the price?... I even had three extra "desserts' and five extra "lunches" ...So far so good.

Today was my first day. I had a thumble full of cereal and 4oz skim milk and six cherries for breakfast and becasuse I was busy and away from home I had a peanut buttter bar for lunch and soy chips for an afternoon snack. I was starving when I got home so I decided to have an additional lunch item. I decied on a cup of rice and black bean soup. It's powered stuff in a cup you add water too. Well, it turned out that I won't have to be concerned about the "extra calories" in my "second lunch" because it only took two bites to decide that it was inedible! It tasted like dish soap, so much so that I though maybe the kids hadn't rinsed the spoon I was eating with and it was coated with soap. So I dumped it down the drain and ate a (not very filling) plum.

A couple of hours later I had Beef Mac and Cheese and a salad for dinner. The salad was perfect, the mac and cheese (again powder in a cup that I added water to) tasted awful. It tasted like copper pennies soaked in dish washing soap. I ate half of it. I offered the other half to the dog and maybe I need to get a clue because our dog, (a dog that eats cat poop when ever given haf a chance) refused to finish it!

I will give NutriSystem a couple of more days, but tonight I suspect that this diet works mainly by giving me an aversion to food! I mean it too... I got out some ravioli (one of the "dinner' selections) and I am hungary but I can't seem to make myself open it.

I have been doing a low carb diet for 10 weeks and lost 27pounds. I needed to lose 20-25 poundsbecause I need hip replacement surgery and so very motivated.

I tried NutriSystem because I was bored with eating chicken and lettuce. I need to keep the weight off and would like to lose another 10-15 pounds in the next 8-10 weeks.

I was bored with protein but at least I wasn't hungery...or afraid to eat! I don't think I will be recommending this plan to anyone.

Actually, my husband (optimistically) pointed out that I could sell what I don't use on Craigslist, but right now I am not sure that I would even give this stuff away!

It turned out to be a great assortment too. Well, maybe a little heavy on the pasta, but how can I complain for the price?… I even had three extra “desserts’ and five extra “lunches” …So far so good.

It’s powered stuff in a cup you add water too. Well, it turned out that I won’t have to be concerned about the “extra calories” in my “second lunch” because it only took two bites to decide that it was inedible! It tasted like dish soap, so much so that I though maybe the kids hadn’t rinsed the spoon I was eating with and it was coated with soap.

I mean it too… I got out some ravioli (one of the “dinner’ selections) and I am hungary but I can’t seem to make myself open it.

I was bored with protein but at least I wasn’t hungery…or afraid to eat! I don’t think I will be recommending this plan to anyone.

Actually, my husband (optimistically) pointed out that I could sell what I don’t use on Craigslist, but right now I am not sure that I would even give this stuff away!

Thank you, 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet, for posting a TRUE Nutrisystem review!

I tried Nutrisystem during summer 2010. Horrible experience. The food was inedible - and ridiculously overpriced at that. The food tasted of preservatives, chemicals and phony flavorings with high sodium levels. And is it really necessary to put fiber in everything - including dessert? Besides the $300 for 28 days of Nutrisystem basic women's plan food, I spent a small fortune at the grocery store buying all 77 food servings not included in the plan but required as "fresh grocery additions."

For each 7 days period I ate 28 Nutrisystem food servings and 77 of my separately purchased food servings; during each 7 days period Nutrisystem food accounted for only 26.6% of my total food intake. $75 per week for only 26.6% of my total food intake? Crazy.

On the positive side, I really liked the idea of prepared meals so now I cook several large items on Sunday and freeze all of my lunch and dinner meals for the following week. I pick two types of lean meat (ex. a whole chicken and a turkey breast to roast), starches (ex. potatoes, rice, quinoa, pasta), and green veggies to steam (ex. green beans, sugar snap peas, bok choy, spinach) and mix-n-match the ingredients. I have daily calorie, fat, fiber and sodium limits (per my nutritionist), I faithfully measure everything and I use food containers rated for the freezer, microwave and dishwasher (beware of food containers not rated for such use). Rubbermaid's Take Alongs are a great product. I also keep a daily food log.

Breakfast was a hurdle for me because I don't enjoy eating solid foods in the morning. That changed after I tried Fiber One Honey Clusters cereal - it tastes wonderful (sort of like Golden Grahams) and I actually look forward to it. 13 grams of fiber in one bowl! On the mornings that solid food just won't cut it, I rely on Carnation Instant Breakfast dry mix and add it to skim milk; the milk chocolate and chocolate malt flavors are awesome.

Bottom line: I do not recommend Nutrisystem to anyone. It's expensive, the food is literally inedible and tastes horrible and the preservatives, chemicals, phony flavorings and high sodium content can't be good for anyone.

I had a terrible experience with Nutrisystem.
First, I tried to customize the order, I didn't receive what I ordered. When I called back, the lady said it was a customized order. She was going to send me some free breakfast items, which I never received.
Second, when I called back the second time 3 weeks later trying to cancel the autoshipment. At least this customer service person was honest by telling me i got a "canned'" order, that's why the food was not to my taste.
Third, another customer service person totally did not care about my complaint. Didn't really care how I was lied to by their own representative. Worst experience ever!!!!

Food tasted awful, full of sodium and other ingredients which I cannot pronounce. My feet have been swollen ever since I've been on this diet. Definitely not healthy for people who have elevated blood pressure or diabetic.

I agreed with the previous person. You can buy bars, snacks, and prepared food at a much lower price at your local grocery stores. Would NOT recommend Nutrisystems for anyone.

I really can't believe all the whining going on here. I do *not* work for Nutrisystem, but I'm going to give the program a good review. I've been eating their foods for about 6 weeks now, and, whereas it's not gourmet food, you have to be pretty picky or priviledged to say that it's dog food or anywhere close to that. Some of the meals I don't like -- duh. I don't order those any more. My 2nd order just came yesterday with all the things I really liked because they let you choose what you want.

TODAY:
Breakfast: NS Apple Strudel Scone, half coffee/half skim w/ Davinci sugar free vanilla syrup, small banana

Lunch: NS Macaroni & Cheese w/ Beef, large salad w cherry tomatoes and low fat raspberry vinaigrette dressing, applesauce w/ cinnamon

Snack: Kashi Chocolate and Peanut bar

Supper: NS Lasagna w/ Tomato Basil sauce w/ mozarella cheese on top, whole wheat garlic bread w/ Smart Balance butter, roasted mixed stir-fry veggies

Dessert (have before bed): will have yogurt and fresh cherries

This is a pretty typical day for anyone on NS, and, as you can see, the NS entrees are only a part of what you have. Yes, I could prepare my own lasagna and split it up into small portions, bake my own scones, & make macaroni and beef, but I am a compulsive overeater (yes, there are people who overeat, just as some people deal with their problems with too much drugs, sex, alcohol or gambling) and I'm learning that the portions given to me in the NS entrees are reasonable and *should* be the smallest part of the meal. My meals have always contained too much spaghetti, macaroni, etc., and too few veggies, dairy, & fruits.

Nutrisystem has a maintenance plan where they teach you how to transition to using your own foods *in the right porrtions* when you are close to your goal weight. Never have I seen anywhere that NS tries to get you to buy their foods forever.

Yes, NS foods has preservatives and more sodium than I would like, but the last time I ate at Subway, I got much more sodium in my meal than I get with a NS entree.

I've lost 15 pounds. Tell me how NS is bad for me??

This is ridiculous.

The food on NS isn't the most amazing stuff on the planet, but it's also not inedible. In fact, it's quite satisfying if you know anything about cooking.

I have been on the plan about a month and have lost 20, yes TWENTY pounds.

This plan is about portion control and fixing bad habits. That means that you are going to have to really think about your meals in advance, and prepare them according to the program. A little bit of creativity and the meals end up being very good.

As an example, I am on the Men's Basic plan. Dinner is:

1 Nutrisystem Dinner Entree
1 Fruit or Vegetable
2 Vegetables
1 Carbohydrate
1 Fat

They define what each thing means, for example "fat" is 1tsp of olive oil, or one serving of peanut butter.

Here is how I make this meal, with the chicken parmesean pasta entree:

Blanch 2 serving of Broccoli in boiling water for 1 minute or so, until they turn bright green. Open the Nutrisystem Entree and pour it and the broccoli into a skillet, and heat it over medium heat. Meanwhile, get a piece of whole wheat bread, and toast it, then spread it with chunky peanut butter. You can then have an apple on the side, if you like. Once your nutrisystem+broccoli meal is heated all the way through, serve.

Also, here is the ingredient list for a black bean soup lunch on the plan...please tell me that this stuff "isn't good for you"-
- Black Beans, Vegetables (Onion, Red Bell Pepper, Tomato, Garlic), White Rice, Modified Corn Starch, Spices (Chili Pepper, Cilantro).

And this is bad for you HOW exactly?

Oh, just read some other comments. Those people who claim this is a "good" plan obviously don't know or understand how unhealthy this stuff is. Check out the ingredient list. You may be thin, but your blood pressure has probably gone sky high, and you're taking in nothing but chemicals
. You could lose weight drinking endless cans of Coke all day long, but your health would be affected by it. Being thin doesn't necessarily mean healthy. And just wait after you stop deciding to pay their inflated price; how soon your body will return to where it was. This isn't teaching you good eating habits, you're being starved and laden with chemicals.
