Just checking in. I’d check more often but my computer monitor at work faces the door, so I can’t be on non-work related sites too often. So annoying. You’d think they want us to be productive or something.
Anyhow, I was down 3 lbs. at my Friday WW meeting. I had a weekend full of food landmines and I stepped on a lot of them. Oops.

But I also had a soccer tournament on Saturday and played 5 games, which I figured would cancel it all out. The scale doesn’t seem to agree, though, so I have to keep on the straight and narrow this week to get a good weigh-in on Friday.
Kelly – you were asking about average weight loss in a week. Last time I lost the weight I aimed for 1-2 lbs per week on average. Some weeks I’d see a bigger drop, others I’d see no drop, but it did average out. I didn’t particularly want to lose more quickly because I wanted to have an eating style that I could maintain, and I did maintain for a good two years. From everything I’ve read and experienced, maintenance is actually harder than losing, so I’m in no big rush to get to goal.
