Good news - I'm down another 2.5 lbs this week. I feel like a cheated a little, in that I weighed in before breakfast (I'm busy at lunch, so I can't make the meeting), but I'll take it. Another 2.5 lbs to get to my goal.

Way to go ladies!!!! Keep it up.
ckthegreat~ You are so right **a loss is a LOSS**

Michele~ When do you normally weigh in...for me it's always the first thing in the a.m. before breakfast. I love early morning meetings! Anyway, 2.5 is fabulous!!!

WTG ladies! Looks like everyone is doing wonderfully! I agree, any loss is a good loss, because we all know how it could have been if we were following the habits we had in the past!

I am determined! I don't know if I'll make my Trick or Treat Challenge goal or not as I only have two weigh-ins left, but even if I don't, I know I'm down at least 14 pounds from when I set the goal. Have to think positive!

Small NSV for me this morning! Yippee! I have this pair of jeans that I've been holding onto for years. I was trying to remember the last time I actually wore them. Has to be probably 8 years ago. I tried them on maybe 6 months ago and had to do the shimmy-shake just to get them over my bum, and then the button was still gapping at least 6 inches. Came across them a week and a half or so ago and pulled them on. They went on OK, but weren't comfortable enough to do an all-day in them. You know, the kind that's ok when your standing, but not if you have to sit down! hehehe....Anyway, I was standing in front of my closet this morning aggrivated because nothing fits....a good aggrivation, but still a pain when you're trying to get dressed for work. I thought "oh well, lets give it a shot" and guess what? They're perfect!!! Woo Hoo!! I've had them on since about 7 a.m., no tight waist, room to sit comfortably! YES!! I didn't remember what size they were, so I looked at the tag and for a moment was dissappointed. At my starting weight I was in a super snug 20 in some pants. Hadn't really purchased anything bigger, just avoided the 20s that were too small. These jeans are also a 20, but when I looked closer, they're not a women's 20, just a regular 20. So, Happy again! Oh, and this came after a 1 pound loss last week that also left me a little bummed. I guess somethings working!

Thanks for letting me share!!

Good job everybody!!!! Two more weigh ins left for me this month. I'm hoping I get 2 more pounds off. I felt great last night when a pair of jeans that I couldn't button fit, a bit snuggly but I could sit without pain in them. And then this morning a pair of dress pants that I have worn with the rubber band trick on the button for a couple years closed wiht the proper button usage, I was ecstatic!!!!! They got snugger as the day went on (after I had 2 cookies at the seminar this afternoon) but there is hope!!!!! NSV can sure help you along!

I'm tired and the lack of sun is affecting my mood and attitude. I've got to get out and get some movement going. I know it will help me out.

Have a great day everybody. I'll check in after my weigh in

All week I have been stressing. This past Sunday I WI'ed at 270 (down 20 pounds from where I started at). Monday I stepped on the scales (as I do everytime I am in the bathroom...bad habit I am now trying to break) and I had gained 2 pounds. I was freaking out. All week I have maintained at 272. I have been walking...some not as much as week before. This morning the scales still said 272. But the funny thing is it said 272 EVERY time I stepped on them. No increase during the day...which is odd. Well this morning around 10 I got on them again and got E for error. Put a new battery in it, still got E. So I figured the scales died...I would do if someone as big as me stepped on me all that much. So I went and got a Weight Watchers scale. I love it....only thing is now I am at 275.6. So I am going to see what it is in the morning. I will leave my weight loss at 20 pounds until the scales actually have me back at 270. And I won't stress out over what it says.

EAsier said then done

CarebearsChris~ take a deep breath & relax. If I were you I'd just wait until my next official WI at your meeting & see how it goes. Don't let yourself get all stressed over the scale difference. My scale is always weird....it'll say I haven't lost any then I get to my meetings & viola down a pound or so.
When is your next meeting?

I don't do meetings. I am doing this on my own without the channels WW has set up (meetings, at home and online). My plan now is to put the scales in the closet and take it out on Sunday (my weigh in day) and then return it to the closet. Out of sight out of mind thing.

Chris - that may be a good plan right now. Good luck this weekend and let us know how the Sunday weigh in goes.

I had my WI yesterday and I didn't stop by this thread to tell all of you that I lost 2 1/4 lbs this week. I'm so excited. Going definitely in the right direction. Only 1/4 lb to the Halloween goal. Having the short term goals really seem to be working for me so far.

Kelly - you're doing great!!!!! That's great progress! Soon you'll be under 200 before you know it. Keep it up!

Thanks, Rosegarden! I'm determined, and I WILL succeed!

I'm a Saturday weigh in baby, and this morning was good! Down 3.2 pounds, so I think if I just keep plugging away, and tracking everying, etc., I'll be right at my Trick or Treat goal next Saturday. Wish me luck!

First I would like to thank every one for the support you have given me this week as I stresed out over the scales. I am now accepting the fact that scales read 4 pounds more then they did last Sunday. I think it is a combination of 2 things....1 new scales being calibrated differently than the old ones and 2 not walking much this week and not measuring my food. I was looking at this as such a set back it was just tearing me up. But I am over that now. So I will loss the same pounds all over again.
