Sorry to hear you are no longer with your boyfriend. Glad you aren't giving up on the new lifestyle (I don't use the word diet because they never work but a lifestyle change can). I got my Halloween ticker at www.tickerfactory.com

That's odd. I haven't had that happen to me. Wonder if you come completely out of it and start over if it will work.

S/C/G: 246/147/150 WW Goal

Michele, thanks! I'm so happy that I met the 10%, it was my first personal goal. I've now set my sights on the ww 10%; once I reach that DH's employer will reimburse me for all WW fees so far. I figure I can then turn around and use that reimbursement to pay for the next couple months. They'll reimburse after each 10% loss, or when you reach goal. I'm definitely aiming for only a few more weeks "out of pocket"!

Kids and hubby have done some switching to the healthier foods. All of them like yogurt, and don't mind the fat free yoplait rather than the low fat yoplait they were eating. DS loves the Wonder Lite Italian bread and has that for his sandwich every day. Fortunately the lunch meat we've used for the last couple years - Hilshire Farms Deli Select - seems to be the best one out there for you as far as processed meats go. DH eats whatever salad dressing is around, but the kids pretty much only eat Hidden Valley Ranch or Marzetti's Honey Mustard. Overall they are getting more healthy foods into their bodies, whether they realize it or not!

I had a gain last weigh in and i know i will have another gain on my weigh in on monday. I spent all week pigging out. Eating junk even when Im not hungry, Trying hard to jump back on the wagon. Ill try to start new tommorow but thats what I said last night. Words of encouragement welcomed. Why does it have to be so hard. Ugg.

Donna, YIPPEE!! You figured it out!! Good for you! It's always fun changing that ticker and seeing your progress. You'll make that 25 pound goal in no time!

Sarah, pull yourself back up and start again! Believe me I understand how some of those foods sit in the pantry looking all innocent, but then they start calling your name! How dare they?! Next time they call you drink a big glass of water or make a deal with yourself that you'll walk around the block or exercise for 15 minutes first. Chances are when your done you will be over the urge!

Kelly - that's a great system where your WW fees are reimbursed. Additional motivation.

Hildy - WTG on going to the gym 4 days in a row!

I was down 2.5 lbs at my WW weigh-in today, for a total of 8.5 lbs. So, I have 6.5 lbs to go to meet the Halloween challenge. I think I might make it, even though it seemed ambitious at first. This weekend will be a challenge, as it's Canadian Thanksgiving, plus we've planned a couple of dinners out. Wish me luck!

Congrats to everyone getting close to their Trick or Treat Goals. I think I will be close to mine this week.

Late yesterday afternoon, after DH and I were out running errands, DH pulled into the parking lot of Golden Coral (buffet steak house) and said guess what's for dinner. I about died right their on the spot. If I had known this the day before I could have planned points better. But I said ok I can do this. I did real well. I had to use 8 points from WPA. Not bad since I had 33 I could use. I didn't walk out of their with the usual "I am about to explode" feeling. Usually in the evening I have a 3-4 point snack...but not last night. Figured I had eaten enough. I am real proud of how I dealt with it.

Hope everyone is doing well.

~~chris
