No, it is like a sling thing, it wraps around your foot and calf, and keeps your foot flexed. They have them at most sporting goods stores, or you can order them online, I will see if I can find a link. PM me and I will get it to you.

i'm actually proud of myself today. we had an all day staff retreat, potluck style. surprisingly, i did not over eat. i had a small portion of chicken chili, the smallest piece of lasagna ever, and a handful of pretzels. i had lots of fruit and salad, no booze. after i got home, i relaxed for a bit then prepared myself an OP meal. not letting an "off plan" meal turn into an all day event [/QUOTE]

WOOHOO for staying on plan after the potluck! I had a cakepop for the bosses birthday yesterday, but planned for it, counted the points for it, and just had one!

Now next Thursday...for the office Halloween/October birthday celebration...that may be a different story all together, that one may require dipping into the activity points......

lazylioness - It sounds like you did awesome yesterday. Potlucks are so hard for me. Everything always looks so good, especially the really high calorie/point stuff lol. Good job staying on plan!

I was up this morning to 240.2, but that's okay because I know it can't be down every single day. I knew it was bound to go up or stay the same sometime soon. I've had great losses lately and have no complaints. I know if I keep on doing what I've been doing it will go back down and eventually go down even farther

Hope you all have a fabulous day!

Weighing in today instead of tomorrow. "Cheating" a bit because we had a fantastic fall dinner consisting of braised short ribs, mashed potatoes garlic green beans wine and pumpkin mousse chocolate cake. Not sure what that will do to my scale lol!!!

So this mornings weigh in was 244.6

Ugh! I hate it when it doesn't stick! I saw 243 earlier in the week, just a glimpse but I saw it. Hopefully now that TOM is done, and I can work our again I will have a woosh by Thursday.

That's awesome Sara!

I was out of control this weekend and the scale reflected it this morning @ 242.2

I am back on plan today and plan on getting it back down to at least 240 by Thursday to meet my goal for the month! I can't believe I saw a glimpse of 238 last week and now up 4 pounds...ugh

How is everyone this afternoon?? I've been MIA, my laptop crashed and my boss was here all last week so I couldn't use my work computer for personal use . I'm hoping to get a new laptop by the end of this week

I went last Thursday to purchase a Halloween costume for a party on Saturday and I was not a happy camper!! Those things are so mis-sized!! I tried on about 5 costumes of different sizes before I settled on a "Plus size 18-20"!!

I did have a better experience on Saturday. I can actually fit in to some size 12 pants and Large tops!!!

Starting weight: 189.2 (9/28/13)
October Goal: 181.2 (8lbs lost)

10/5: 187.0 (-2.2)
10/12: 185.2 (-1.8)
10/19: 182.6 (-2.6)
10/26: 181.0 (-1.6) Total lost so far for October (8.2)

I won't weigh again until November 2nd since I go to meetings on Saturdays.

woohoo on the size 12's!

Yes Halloween costumes are mis-sized. I suspect it is so that only a certain type of girl is seen wearing them! (actually i do not really think that but it does make sense!)

LOL!! I agree with what you are saying....some of those costumes are so skimpy and ridiculous that this 52 year old would not be caught dead in them!!

The funny thing about the size 12's, I took 14's into the dressing room and could not believe they were too big. I have some 12's in a storage tote from 4 years ago so when I got home I ran to garage and hauled that plastic tote to my room and was so excited to try them on...they are still to small!! Oh well, maybe after November
