Default I am bored too..

Kempy.. it would be great if I were in LA.. would love to hang out with you.... that is the one thing I haven't been able to do since moving here, make girl friends ... so on weekends like this.. I really wish I had someone to go out and hang with. OH well.. I will be ok.. I will EXERCISE! haha...

I have an hour and a half til I leave and go pick up the girls and take them to Steven's relatives. Will be having McDonalds for dinner.. I need to feed them first.. want to make sure they eat! :-)

Tomorrow night, I guess I will watch the OU game and the AR game.. they come on at the same time.. so I will be flipping channels, unless AR game becomes too difficult to watch, like it has been for the past two weeks! :-)

Ok.... talk to you all soon....

Cherie

It's Aloha Friday, don't work til Monday...dee doo dee doo dee doo dee doo dee doo dee doo dee doo...

Umm, sorry, that's a local song here which they play on the old people's radio station and it's stuck in my head. It's so infuriatingly cheesy but catchy, I hate it. It's a muggy one here today. We had some BIG rain last night, right after I hung some laundry out of course . I didn't get to finish all of it so I stayed home this morning to get it done--I'm stuck listening to the oldies radio station with my parents . I'm gonna WI tomorrow at WW so wish me luck! Hey, I just realized that it was 1 year ago today that I had my "A-ha" moment and started this weight loss journey. I've kept off 28.6 lbs and I've gained some great friends and a wonderful support system here. So thank you gals for that!

Kempy I would love for our LOWS to be 60! That happens once in a blue moon though. Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better today. Lucky you, isn't it almost quitting time?

Cherie, woo-hoo a kid-free weekend! Enjoy yourself. You enjoy exercise??? What's wrong with you girl? (Just kidding)

Angie keep warm girl, we don't want you getting sick. Hmmmm, buffalo burgers, never had 'em. I would definitely try them though . So are your kids dressing up for Halloween and going trick or treating? If they are you're probably going to have to pull the same stunt and dump all the candy at your dad's, the kids will be so thrilled .

Jacks, it's good that Kelly will be trying to do this with you. Did you make him weigh before or after the bag of doritos? Rick needs to lose a few himself and I always try to get him to come walking with me if he gets home from work early, but either it's no thanks' or if he does come along, he's like, "let's run". So I'm perfectly happy walking with my sis or going alone. Good luck on "turning him around".

Julie, support the US economy and come to Hawaii instead! We've got beaches, sun, sand, tropical drinks AND you can meet me and Jacks . ( this is coming from me who is going to Bangkok in 2 weeks )

Well, the dryer is calling...gotta run. Take care ladies and have a great weekend!

Good morning/afternoon ladies! OMG am I the first to post today??? (The rest of you must have LIVES and are out doing something instead of sitting at home on the computer like me ). I am up bright and early this morning just checking things out. I'll be heading to my WI in about an hour *nervous anticipation sets in*

Last night Michael's school had a Halloween Spooktacular event in which all the kids got to wear their costumes and there were several different game booths set up. It was a little fundraiser for the school so the games ranged from $.25 to $.75. You could pay $4.75 and your kid could play every game once. There was also a snack bar set up in the kitchen where you could buy "severed hands" (popcorn in a plastic glove) or "worms on buns" (hot dogs), "witches brew" (punch) and some other spooky sounding food names . It was a good wholesome family fun gathering and we all enjoyed. We may head out to the pumpkin patch this morning then hit the carnival down the road in the evening. Let's hope the rain either falls early and dries up, or it doesn't rain at all .

I have great news. The check from the insurance company came in to pay both vet bill invoices . Now I can get off the warpath with this bozo neighbor and on with my life. Well, I don't know if we're supposed to have more rain today, but I am gonna have a good day. Hope all of you do too.

Hey girls

Just got back from a long day of visiting. My grandparents were in town. So all of us went over to my moms house. We had lunch and it was pretty easy to stay op because she had a meat and cheese tray, and some hamburger soup. So i just had low carb items. She did have crossiants, pumpkin pie and marble frosted chocoatle cake just to new a few goodies but I stayed away from them. I did have 2 1/2 cups of coffee and a diet coke though. Water would have been better with eating all that salt.

Noelle the school party sounded so neat. I bet your boy had a great time!

Well I hope everyone is great. You all must be having a busy weekend. Hope to hear from everyone soon. Julie

Hey guys. I am finally checking in on a Saturday. I know everydoby get up off the floor. I never do it but I was playing on the computer and wanted to drop in and tell you guys about my night.

We went to the lobster boil and it was awesome! Of course we did have a little to much to drink. I got the bright idea to go over to the plantation house and take soem ghost pictures. I sent them to a girl on the site that is a ghost hunter so that she can tell me if I really do have pics of something. It was pretty cool. At the end of the night we stopped by the cemetary and took some shots too. Joe stayed in the car though. So my MIL & FIl and myself are walking around talking to the air saying we are not here to harm you we just want a picture. I was quite comical. I had taken my shoes of and was walking around barefoor with one shoe in my hand and my FIL had the other one. Boy are we a wierd family or what. If the lady says that they have something on them I will let you guys see them if you want.

Noelle that sounds like a great thing for kids. My sister and I were just talking about not very many kds doing the trick or treating thing. I wonder why it is dying out? I used to love going when I was a kid.

Jacks good for you with eating healthy. I always have a hard time when I am with family.

Angie I need to know how to cook lobster tails and claws. We have a four in the fridge and Joe wanted me to ask you how you guys do it. I could probably eat all 4 of those suckers if Joe would let me.

Kempy, I can just imagine you walking barefoot all around stealthily-like... it's great that you do things like this with your in-laws. I'd be walking around with my shoe upraised too if they got near me . So why did Joe stay in the car? ??? It would be so freaky if you caught a picture of a ghost--you just might get one since you asked nicely . You could enlarge it and display it on your door for halloween.

You know, Rick and I were just talking about the tradition of halloween and trick or treating last night. We loved doing it when we were kids and for us it was mostly about just having fun dressing up and going out and getting free candy from strangers . I think what's going on now is that #1) There are more weird people in this world so it's not exactly as safe as it was when we were younger #2) Alot of parents are being overly PC so they don't want to "celebrate" a so-called witches or devils holiday or something like that... sheesh, it's just fun to dress up and get candy OK? Let's not get deeper than that. Let the kids have fun.

Julie you are doing great! Such nerves of steel--I would have a difficult time passing up pumpkin pie and the cake. Sweets are my weakness. Last weekend we had a german chocolate b-day cake and although I didn't eat any at the party, I did have a slice when I got home ... but you know what? I weighed-in today and despite the cake indulgence, I still lost 1.2 lbs today at WW. I'm doing a little happy dance .

Well I need to go and wash my car since we did go to the pumpkin patch today and it was MUDDY! Some cars were getting stuck in the mud ruts and had to be pulled out by tractor! It was fun and hot and we got our pumpkin. My son even got to ride a pony for the first time ever and he was having a blast. Gotta run for now. have a great weekend!

Hello again Sweethearts

Oh my god Noelle I have a confession...I did great all day and wham tonight I gave in and had some of my favorite pizza!!!!
(alot) Oh well not going to stress too much. I have to cheat once and awhile right? Gosh did it taste great! ITs a frozen one but it is so good. Its Tombstone stuffed crust plain cheese variety! Yummy it is my favorite. I hear you about Halloween, I am going to celebrate this year with the little ones. I just love decorating the house for this time of year! But you are right you have to worry about different things in this world we live in today.

Kempy I bet last night was a blast. What funny story. I wish I could let loose with my inlaws like that! I am so glad you checked in today.

Well going to try and find something good on tv. bye, Julie

Oh my F-ing word!!!! I just typed a long post and boom it is now gone!!! I will try this again.

I woke up today with a food hangover, you know when you get up queasy because of all the junk from the day before? Yuck.

Kempy, If the tails are already cooked all you need to do is heat them up and eat. We dip them in butter or mix them with vermicelli, garlic and parmesan cheese(Jay uses butter on that too) That is what I am doing for supper tonight and tomorrow. You could make a lobster salad with mayo and lemon and put it on toasted buns. It would be really good in an alfredo. If they arent cooked then just boil them until they turn red and pick. Make sure to pick the meat out of the bodies too. It is gross but there is alot of meat in the bodies. Also take the legs off and roll them with a rolling pin and you can get all the meat out of there too.

Noelle, You rock girl!! Congratulations on doing so well. I wished I could get my head out of my *** and stick to my plan.

Julie, you did great yesterday. I am proud of you.

We cleaned the RV up and are going to put the cover on the roof if it stops raining. I wanted to take off in it today. I went shoppiong yesterday and Walmart was throwing all the summer clothes out for 50 cents to $1.00 so I bought a ton of clothes for the kids for Christmas for Florida. They should have plenty to unwrap considering the stuff I wrapped up on Friday was supposed to be it.

Well, I need to eat lunch and get some baking done. TTYL

Angie you can tell that you are pretty far East. It will get darker first there. When Joe is in Texas even though we are in the same time zone it will still be daylight when it is almost 9 but over here it has gotten dark at around 7:45. (of course this is in the summer). It is just weird when you are used to something and then you talk to someone in a different area of the country and they see things totally different.

OMG Kempy's posting on a Sunday! How's it going?

Angie, all the talk about lobsters makes me want to go out and get some! I want to eat them in a salad w/mayo, a little lemon juice and blanched broccoli . This works well with crab too. Your kids are going to be so stoked to get so many gifts to open up. I've yet to see our Walmart have a sale on clothes for that cheap. It's really funny because our Walmart stores here probably have the same stock as they do on the mainland. We've got padded flannel coats, long john underwear, winter coats...who the heck is gonna buy that here? Everything's long sleeve or corduroy . We can go through our "winter" in shorts and t-shirt, we just need an umbrella for the rain. . In fact, I was trying to find some new shorts for my son for school, and there were hardly any to be found!

Julie, you don't give in to temptation that often as far as I can see, so a little pizza won't kill your diet. And if you are gonna "cheat", you might as well make it worthwhile. Sounds like you enjoyed!

I went to the Bangkok trip orientation meeting and it just made me that more excited to go! Can't wait !!! This trip is gonna be a blast with my mom and all my sisters. The buffet was pretty good. I ate mostly veggies (steamed choi sum, zucchini, broccoli which I picked out from the beef and broccoli while the Chinese lady eyed me up), and some spicy tofu. I had a small piece of cold ginger chicken and one piece of the oyster sauce chicken. I still need to sit down and figure out the points for these things--I wonder if I'll know how? Anyway, for dinner I made a 3 pt. roast beef sandwich with clover sprouts, tomato and mustard. I'm done eating for today. I made sure I went for my walk this morning and went the longer route of 5.2 miles so I hopefully broke even on the points.

I need to hit the shower and I'll see you ladies tomorrow!

Ciao!

Hey everyone! Please excuse me for not answering personal posts, I have been mia for awhile, and you gals have been busy!!
I am ready to get back in gear though. We had a rough time, our 3 year old was in the hospital because of his asthma, I had to go to an unemployment interview, been dealing with lawyers for this closing of ours, and packing like crazy. In the midst of it all, I went to get halloween costumes for our 3 little ones, and boots, snow suits, etc as well. Winter will soon be upon us up here ! I would rather skip winter, or better yet, hibernate, lol.

My weight is down to 141.5. I wish I could say it was from healthy eating and exercise, but, I think it's stress related. I really haven't been that hungry, but, did walk 4 miles 5 days last week. Maybe letting up on the exercise a little is helping?

I hope everyone is well!

Holly

I am going to try so hard today to stay on track. I made no bake cookies this weekend and I ate ALOT of them. I sent a bunch out to the accounts so if they sell quickly I may try to make them regularly(oh oh!!) I am so bloated. when I woke up I couldnt even feel my hip bone because it was covered with swollen fat. Why oh why do I like food SO much?

We will be having nonstop rain for the next 2 days. That sucks because the temps are pretty nice(perfect fall temps)

Noelle, That is so funny. Why would they put out all winter stuff in Hawaii? I bought Corey about 10 pair of jean shorts for $1.00 each Saturday. I couldnt pass it up.

Kempy, it was so gross. I was cleaning the bakery and washing the floors and stuff and it was pitch black out when I went to go in the house. At least the kids dont have to wait all night to go trick or treating.

Have you guys seen Boat Trip with Cuba Gooding Jr? That was so funny!

Angie we are going to have to try to keep each other in line this week. I really need to try to get under control again. I have been cheating with my clothes latly and I know it is going to bite me in the behind real soon. I have been wearing running pants to work and I know as soon as I put on my jeans I am going to be mad at myself. So please help me girl!

Hey Holly good to see you again. I don't even know what it is like to buy winter clothes. I am almost in the same boat as Noelle and Jacks. We wear shorts for a long part of the year down here. We do get some cold days but nothing like up there.

Noelle, I know it is strange to see me over the weekend. Sorry I almost gave you a heart attack. I was on the internet with my sister over looking at ghost pictures. I was just trying to scare her and I think it worked.

Is is just the few of us here now? Have we lost just about everyone?

Hey girls not much to report this Monday. I did not want to weigh myself this morning because of the Saturday night splurge. Speaking of winter clothes I have to get all of our jackets out for this winter and get them freshened up and ready to wear.

Noelle that is somthing about walmart having a big winter supply there. I suppose it is for anyone who wants to travel to the cold!

Hey Angie I too want to stay on track so bad this week. I would love to fit back in my jeans for Friday. I have to keep my carbs and snacking under control!

Check in later guys. Julie
