Good Morning, Everyone! Happy Friday!

yangtzer Please don't tell me it's Thursday.

Last night: Basic stretches
This morning: Oxycise

Calories for yesterday: 1390 +
Weigh In: 189.2
Down: .8 (Thank you, Jesus! This was such an encouragement for me this morning.)

Have a Blessed day, stay healthy and a great start to your weekend!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

April 17

Philippians 3:20
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.

After Michelle promised Susan she would diet with her, she im-mediately began to regret it. All Susan did was talk about food. Susan had a one-track mind, and she made dieting so much harder for Michelle. Michelle constantly tried to change the direction of their conversations, but Susan always managed to bring the topic back to food. Finally, Michelle told Susan that if she didn't stop, she would no longer be able to be a diet partner with her. The two worked together and found that with some effort, they could steer clear of caloric conversation.

Today's thought: Lord, turn my mind away from the pleasures of my tummy!

Yes, Jaimsy! I love lots of different cuisines but I'm definitely hoping to keep this luxurious feeling. I'm not doing much differently either, in terms of prep time or foods I eat. Just being pickier about the quality of the food, and therefore enjoying it a lot more.

Quick food diary, will try to do personals later.

Breakfast: plain Greek yogurt w/ Bonne Maman blueberry jam and muesli (ohmygosh)
Lunch: 2 slices avocado toast with a bit of hummus and radishes. tropical smoothie inc spinach. 3 squares hazelnut dark chocolate, ~100 cal

yangtzer - PPE is dwindling... a glove shortage has caused supervisors to purchase gloves wherever they can find them; we now have industrial strength nitrile gloves and they are NOT comfortable. They also irritate my hands. Patients keep stealing PPE from the hospital as well.

Update: I didn't lose my job, but a couple of my dear friends were furloughed Governor needs to slowly open the state to get outpatient procedures back, and our workers back! Business are suffering! WE are suffering. The hospital is UNDERwhelmed.

I am going to be attempting a couple weeks of keto to balance my hormone levels and nab some weight loss.
Food for today:

Lunch:
Taco dip with pork rinds
(Sour cream & Cream cheese, ground seasoned beef, spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers, jalapenos, cheese, avocado)
a square of dark chocolate

Dinner: Same thing as lunch

Exercise: 1 hr ballet class

so glad to hear you didn't lose your job, Emily. I hope health care will be one of the first things back... a lot of "nonessential" surgeries can't wait *that* long, and same with so many procedures.

Hi!

I could not sleep, so I thought I'd make an entry...
Joe: T.G.I.no longer.F. (I ate too much.) Thanks for teaching me how to write cuss words at this web site...
Emily: Still having a job must be a relief...
Diana and PrincessRoja: Yeah! Nice when losing is winning!

I was bored with my egg white sandwich. So this time I added a half a cheese stick...it definitely was stringy and put garlic dressing on the toast. ...Not bad. BUT, later I had half a ham salad sandwich, 2 burritos, ice cream sundae, and 2 oreos...

Default good morning

Nancy, a picnic! What a great idea!

Met most of my goals for yesterday. Took in 1100 calories. Did get some weights lifted plus the treadmill done. I need to get those veggies chopped up so I can get in my daily "veggies" goal

Today's goals:
NS Plan, 2 liters water, veggies, fiber, calcium, treadmill.
