How's it going guac and 2kids?

I have been bouncing up and down in the upper 150's. Been having a few too many grains and I had to cut back on them a bit. This morning I weighed in at 156.7. Tomorrow, DH and I will be going to a Seafood Festival. Hopefully I can find some roasted goodies or something not fried. May be on the salty side, but hey, first time we have been out to something like that in years!

I'm bouncing around between 155.5 and 156.5. I've been eating okay though, so I guess I have to persevere for now. It's TTOM, so maybe things will change up next week. I also recently added in Jillian Michaels 30-Day Shred, so maybe that's affecting things. I'll try drinking more water, for now...

Hi guac! Welcome!!

Hi, all! I'd love to join this group, if that's okay. Husband and I just booked our 25th Anniversary trip to Mexico for November and we both are committed to losing the extra pounds we've been carrying. We are doing low carb. Any of you? We've been doing this for almost two weeks and I've lost almost 4 lbs so far.

WI this morning was 154.4; down 1 from yesterday!

Gotta figure out how to add a tracker or two to my profile here. Getting ready to go work out in the gardens before the rain comes in.

Be back later!

Hi pkrjgoss! Sure you can join. The more the merrier! Congratulations on 25 years of marriage! Also, on your 1 lb loss! I am following South Beach which incorporates the good carbs like fruits, legumes, beans, whole grains, etc. I find I need to limit them as it slows my weight loss down if I don't. I try to limit them to 1/day.

You have to reach a post and time limit before you can have a signature with tickers, etc. Good luck to you and DH on your journeys!

As for me, I was bouncing around 154-156 this past week. We took a weeks vacation at our river place and ate out a bit more than usual. Hopefully this week, I will get back on track and hit a downward trend, again.

154.0 this morning! Hoping I will see 153.x soon. I have been really cutting the grain/starches and fruits again to see any drop.

Hi all, I'm new to this forum and joining in to give myself some accountability. I'm trying to finally lose all of my pregnancy weight and fit back into my old clothes. I've started counting calories and keeping a food diary, plus I'm taking the dog out to jog/walk every morning. I weighed in at 157 this morning.

We're going on vacation next week, which usually makes my food choices take a turn for the worse. But, we'll be staying in an AirBnB and I'm planning on cooking at least some of our meals and keeping it as healthy as possible, and I'll make sure we get some walking in.

Hi Sarah! Welcome! I, too, am trying to lose the baby weight. Though my youngest is 2 already.

154.5 lbs this morning. I've had a cold, though, so might be dehydration. Still, motivating to see a small move after bouncing around - hope I can make it stick.

I'm hanging at 157. It's been a stressful few days, so I really need to watch what I eat, as my diet is one of the first things to go under stress. Good luck on your way down this week, everyone!

153.5 lbs this morning. This should be my lowest point, cycle-wise. Essentially, this is my whoosh. So I won't be demotivated if it goes up 1.5-2 lbs over the next two weeks. I feel like I was stuck at the same weight all last month, so not sure what to expect. But today, I'm feeling motivated to stay on plan.

Guac - hope things get less stressful. Take care of yourself. :-)

Guacamole, it sounds like you're making progress overall, maybe more slowly than you'd like, but it's still happening.

Way to go 2kids!

I'm still 157.0 this morning (my scale just goes to the nearest 1/2 pound). I'm really watching my portion sizes and snacks, and I did a bunch of yardwork this morning, so I'm hoping it'll finally start moving downward tomorrow or the next couple days.

Weight was still 157.0 this morning. That's better than an upward trend, at least. I feel like I'll have a breakthrough tomorrow. That's what I'm telling myself, anyway.

Was 156 today. I have no idea why, but I'll take it!
