I did my C25K workout this morning and added additional walking to get at least 10k steps for the day before our long drive home. I made some good food choices this weekend (the boys ate things that will not be named). I enjoyed a grilled salmon and veggie plate for lunch today.

I got home about an hour ago and hopped on the scale out of curiosity. I usually weigh myself in the morning, but I weighed 151.8 again tonight. I'm fine with that, as it means that I didn't gain over this weekend. I'm trying to be patient and let the process happen. Hopeful to weigh tomorrow morning!

Chunkah - were you able to drop that half pound you wanted to?
Hi, Kat, thanks for checking in. Yes, I did finally drop it, but it only happened today. My body's weight loss appears to be very closely tied to my cycle. I seem to lose fairly well the two weeks following my period, and then either hold steady or bump up a little the other weeks. Sorry if TMI. I just find it interesting how our bodies have their own preferences outside of our total conscious control.

I better take advantage of the weight loss zone I'm about to enter and work out hard the next couple of weeks! That'll give me a buffer for the inevitable stall/possible bump up.

Congrats to those of you moving onto the 140s and those of you who will be there soon! That must feel great. I find your success encouraging.

Almost there! 150.4 today. I've been strict on myself about getting in the 10k steps daily, as even that is an improvement over my usual habit of making sure the couch doesn't float away. Slowly, but surely.

Lol Indy. I've been like a mother hen with my couch too the past couple years. I've been walking for exercise for a little over a month now. I think I'll increase my time and speed.

You're doing awesome. Well done and congrats!

So excited to be here and moving down from the 160s thread. Weighed this morning at 158.6. Was meandering around in the 150s for around 6 months. Took 10 days off track and wound up back in the 160s for a few days. So EXCITED to be back to the 150s. The 150s have been hard for me got here in Feb. and my weight loss came to a crawl. Went through some personal therapy as lots of emotional stuff was coming up. I haven't been at these numbers for over 25 years but really want to hit my goal and not get scared and run back up the scale. So for today I have been on track with my food plan and am going to a support meeting tonight. Glad to be here and looking forward to the 140s!!!!

Default Eeee!

I just weighed in at 149.2. Been working my tail off almost every day. **** yeah! C'mon 140s! I hope this sticks and continues to trend downward.

Seriously, though, you ladies can do it. You have to because the 140s thread seems quiet. One day at a time, sometimes one meal at a time. Don't beat yourself up for eating a cookie once in a while.

Indy - you are doing fantastic and putting in some hard work and it is paying off. Congrats for seeing a 4 in that second number!

Chunkah - Hope you got to take advantage of that window in your cycle and drop a few!

millie56 - welcome to the thread! I am about the same as you in not seeing these numbers on the scale for a long, long time. I think the last time I saw the 140's was in the '80's! I have realized I cannot go back to the mindless eating I had been doing during those years since. I really have to track what I eat now, too.

This morning I weighed in at 153.0. It is taking a while, but just glad to see it going down.

154.0 today. Might not lose this month - Saturday should be lowest point. Which means I'll need to re-evaluate calories...

It's sticking! 148.6

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I did C25K W3D2 this morning, then mowed the front and back yard with a push mower. My TOM showed up yesterday. It's been hit and miss since I got an IUD four months ago. Let's just say my uterosaurus is not happy about all this moving around and is now demanding a blanket and chocolate. She'll have to manage with a sugar-free fudgsicle.

157.4 this morning had a great day on plan yesterday. Going to eat a sandwich for lunch today. I don't usually have bread so hope it doesn't jump my weight up but the guys at work invited me to have lunch with them and that is rare. Working on a healthy eating plan for our trip later this month which will be 2 days camping and 3 in hotels. Don't want to fall off track like I did earlier in the month. Did water aerobics last night and must have worked really hard as my thigh muscles are sore today, I usually don't get sore when I workout in the water.

152.0 today! New low for me. So... I only seem to lose weight during week 4 of my birth control pill (placebo week). For the past two months, I've lost nothing during weeks 1-3 (weight is stable), then week 4, I lose what I'm going to lose that month.

NICE JOB ladies!

I was 156.0 this morning, so I'm ever so sloooooowwwwly continuing to lose. My office is doing a step challenge to get 10,000 steps every day through mid-August, so that's helping me keep motivated. Unfortunately, the weather has been very hot here, but I'm making it work with an early morning dog run and a late evening dog walk, plus I brave the heat and take a short walk around midday.

Morning Chicks, Have not checked in for a while as my weight went back to 160's and I felt like a fraud. DH was gone for a week and pm evening snacking got the better of me. He is home again and I am back to 159 for several days now. I am food journaling and will be walking with my dog as soon as I log off. Will try to check in for accountability. Congrats to those that have moved onto the 140's ---how rewarding. Wishing all have a good day and see results this weekend.

Congrats, Indy, on making it to the 140's!

New low of 152.6 this morning. 2.8 lbs until the 140's! Seems so little, but knowing my body, will probably be a couple more weeks to get there.
