Good morning all,

W-162.4 up .6 (getting over it...)
B- oats, coconut almond milk, pecans, banana
L- spring mix, peas, cucumber, banana peppers, southwest dressing
D- salad
S- cherries, cucumber
E- walk, abs

I think my hormones are acting up, pretty crabby this morning, working on finding my zen pretty sure the little uptick is from exercise and hormones, still makes very little sense to me...just going to keep working my program and try to stay positive.

Best to all

So quick check in before I head off to work. Today is weigh in day. I'm proud of myself and managing to stick to my lifestyle change. So I treated myself to a small piece of my DD's home made chocolate cake - sans frosting. This cake is so moist does even need it. And I felt a small surge of accomplishment. I'm really sore from the yoga but determined to keep with it. I feel healthier even if I'm sore. And I sleep really good afterward.

Weigh in?

210.6 lbs, down from 211.8 last week. So an additional 1.2 lb lost, bringing my total up to 6.4lbs.

Hope everyone has a great Thursday. I'll check in later and catch up with everyone else.

Good morning, everyone!

171.0 today

Diana- we homeschool so the kids are here all year, no different. Always having fun!

Sychgirl- I tried zoodles last night with dinner and they were pretty good. I imagine they are even better when made with a spiraler and not a veg peeler. lol

Dakota- how often do you do yoga? I've always wanted to like yoga but classes leave me feeling ridiculous for some reason. Difficulty getting over my belly for positions is probably most of the issue.

I started off the day with peach pie and coffee. Maybe egg on toast will be lunch.

Hi everyone

I have been reading this thread for a while and I would like to join in. Everyone is so supportive and non judgmental. I know the accountability will help me.

I am not computer savvy so please be patient while I am learning.

Weight: 210.8
Exercise: Walking 60 minutes

I am a calorie counter and my goal is 1300 to 1400 calories per day. I do not restrict any food group.

I will be 60 years young in November and I want to finish this and get this weight off.

I have had 7 major surgeries since 2007 due to an abdominal hernia that strangulated my small intestine. Wound infections, mesh rejection, and finally MRSA. I am very gentle to myself these days.

I hope each and every one of you wonderful people have a great day!

Current Weight: 166.2
Goal: 145
down 1.7 from yesterday.

For breakfast I had some sausage, stir fry beef cuts, spaghetti squash, and two small pumpkin pancakes (with no flour).

I feel absolutely amazing this morning. I plan to walk two miles and then walk the dogs another two miles to and from the park nearby.

I plan to have shepherd's pie with lots of ground beef, leeks, broccoli, and green onions and a cauliflower puree on the top for lunch.

For dinner I might have a piece of fruit and a slice of cheese before bedtime.

I have some really tasty looking grass-fed beef ribs staring at me from the fridge, but I'm going to save those for tomorrow

Yay for lifestyle changes and weight loss! Good Luck everyone!

I took a gym break last night and will try again tonight, hopefully my legs/knees cooperate. That was weird because it's not like I've been overdoing it as much as I should be. :/

Day 3 of making better food choices. I posted several days ago that I have been getting way too careless lately. It's easy to fall back.

Thanks Dakota, IdealProteinNewbie and Diana. Down 0.6lbs today to 169.6lbs. Lunch was salmon, crab and cockles with my usual. Breakfast was oats, mackeral and smoked oysters.

I am two-thirds through my three-a-day. Just the run to go tonight. Can't wait.

Lightbulb

Seriously, I have discovered the best (and easiest) snack ever...

Slice a cucumber on a plate and drizzle with olive oil. Add cracked salt/pepper then sprinkle a little onion and chili powder. So good.

Only 75 calories total between the large cucumber and a tsp of olive oil. I store them in the fridge individually wrapped in a paper towel inside the farm stand bag to keep them fresh longer. Read that trick online.

Too good not to share.

Lime juice and hot sauce is good too but I can't do that everyday unless I want an ulcer.
