I'm doing WW. I've tried immersing myself into the Program, hoping that will help keep things at the front of my mind. I'm the Client Contact for our At Work meetings, plus I started taking in an extra meeting during the week with a friend.

I did so well last night! After I got home from that 2nd meeting, DH wanted to go to CherryBerry. I chose a non fat flavor and used fresh fruit as my topping. AND I tracked it! WooHoo! Then as soon as I got home, I planned my food day.

I'm trying to get DH to help me clean out the basement so I can get a treadmill. I have a gym at work I can use, but that means having to go in early to use it over my lunch. I just can't get that to work. Instead of continuing to beat myself up over having my gym bag ready the night before but not being able to get up early enough, I decided my solution is to do it at home. Now I just have to find a spot for it!

summertime Good job!

jenny I couldn't do the low carb thing either. Though I don't eat as many lately since DH has gone gluten free.

mayo Good luck with your new plan!

Morning all!

175.0 this morning.

Kidlets: congrats on having such a great day yesterday, that's wonderful! I'd love to have a treadmill at home, I think that would be handy!

Ok, so down another pound this week to 173. Would have liked to have exercised more, but it is so bloody hot that I opted to walk the dogs with the baby in the backpack carrier and the 3 year old in the stroller rather than run. Also, had some salty foods and I believe TOM will start just in time for the 4th of July.

I would so love to have a treadmill, too! My FIL has the one he and my MIL got a few years back - a really nice top of the line one - and I kind of want to ask if he ever uses it. It was really for MIL and she died last September, but for some reason I think I remember FIL saying he used it a few times during the winter. I also think I remember him saying that a lot of walking is too much for his back and he was going to stick to biking. Eh, next time I see him I'll ask. Couldn't hurt.

Another good day in the books for me! I tracked and ate well! The only thing I could have done differently would have been to get some activity in. I have a birthday and a grad party to go to tomorrow. I know the grad party will have pulled pork sandwiches, and thanks to the meeting topic this week I know the WW Points for it! My plan is to bring a cheese stick or cottage cheese to eat with the fruit at the bday party and to eat the pork without a bun at the grad party. Cake is my all time favorite food so instead of beating myself up over it, I plan on having a super small slice at each.

My MIL has a treadmill that she barely uses as well. I've thought about asking her if I could buy hers from her but they smoke in the house and we are non smokers. Knowing my MIL she probably smokes WHILE she's walking on it. My fear is that we would get it all the way home and realize it smells and not be able to use it.

Mayo do you weigh yourself daily?

Betty WooHoo! Have you done any races? I've done a few 5k's, one this year in April and it was FREEZING out. I told DD we'd do a few a year but we just started camping so that's taken most of our weekend time.

Kidlet - I think you are right to avoid the treadmill, I don't think you'd ever get the smoke smell out! I once got a free treadmill I had to throw away for that very reason, it was terrible!

I stopped checking in here because the 170s seem to be a never-ending pit stop. I got down to 172 but just got home from a short vacation and gave myself a 4 pound bloat. This morning it started coming back down to 174.8.

I have the weekend off from work and hoping to stay on plan and get some good activity in.

Kidlets - I also think the smokey treadmill would be a problem, yuck! But I'm laughing at the image of your mil using it while smoking, I just can't imagine! Yes, I step on the scale every day helps me toe the line!

Coolmom- hopefully we'll all be in the 160s thread soonily!

173.8 this morning, the TGIF snack monster didn't catch me last night!

Hello all.

After dealing with finals and my sisters wedding since May, I'm back at the weightloss again. I gained some weight, but I've managed to get close to my low points.

I'm at 179.8 right now and hoping to see the end of the 170s once and for all!

Down again, now at 173.6. Wood stacking will be my exercise today so that should help.

Im focusing on more crosstraining like swimming this month. I had been doing mostly running for the past 3 months.

173.4 this morning.

Summertime - do you have a lap pool, or do you have to go to the gym to swim? Swimming always seems like such good exercise to me!

Oh well done Mayolover, you are storming through this thread!

I only weigh once a week, on Mondays so since last week I'm down 1.3lbs to 172.7, hopefully it could be just a couple more weeks for me in the 170s!

I tried on some shorts on Saturday and realized how they don't fit anymore, as in I can put them on without undoing them - they kinda look like clown pants lol. So, it seems I have to get more summer things for my weight loss wardrobe, but as my goal is still over 20lbs away, I won't be spending too much so I can save the summer spree to next year when I'm firmly at the weight and size I want to be!

Kidlets - I haven't done any races (too chicken), but I am looking into maybe an 8K at Busch Gardens Williamsburg this December (part of the Christmas Town thing they have going on there, I think), and the 5K Reindeer Run that is local for me in MD.

Had a good weekend and am back down to 171.6 this morning. I ate well, got some good exercise, and kept busy on a couple of projects. We are going to refurb our bathrooms and I am painting the cabinets so they look all pretty and new. I am also taking down the wallpaper and painting, and getting new window treatments for one of them (the only one with a window).

jennybutler - My size 12 shorts from Eddie Bauer are getting too loose, and I am trying to put off buying new ones for a couple more weeks. I can pull them halfway down my hips without unbuttoning, but another inch or two and I am in the danger zone without a belt, if you know what I mean.

Jenny -- last week was my first week on plan, so I get that bonus water weight drop all beginners get! It is going to slooooow down any moment now, I'm sure!

Maybe you can pop by a thrift store for some shorts, our local one sells shorts for a $1! And they have plenty of selection, too! (I'm thrifty, I love anything cheeeaaaap!)
