Mayolover= Cauliflower crust keeps out of the pizza box! I've tweeked the recipe a couple of times depending on what I have in the house and it always works.
Jenny- my numbers when I test are pretty good, usually under 100 but I was a little peeved when my A1C (in March) showed no change even though it had been almost a year low carbing... not fair! Diabetes isn't fair no matter how you manage it. Sometimes the number just is.
Oh Donna! I know that must have been incredibly frustrating to hear! I had my last one in April after a month of LC and my next is scheduled for Oct but we are moving in Aug so I'm going to see if I can move it up.
Not sure I will ever be less than 170 pounds, maybe next year. Currently 177pounds I think which is healthy weight for my height but I'd like to lose more before Christmas. Weight loss has slowed for me so I'd be happy with a pound off a month.
Back up a couple of pounds this morning. We ate terribly yesterday, though. The power was out at the house, so we went to IHOP for breakfast (I ate half of my omelette and brought the rest home, but it was bacon and cheese, not the "fit and healthy" crappy one) and went to Gordon Bierch for dinner, where I had 2 glasses of wine and the fish tacos.
Welcome shannonsnail!! And hey unwanted37lbs, hope to see you back soon!!
Oh me too me too Mayolover - I love cereal! I'm on a weetabix and cinnamon kick at the moment, can't get enough of it!!
Sorry to hear about your numbers not obeying Donna lotsakids, but at least you know you're doing right by your health and body, even if it doesn't show the love back!
Wow noshoes, you are TALL! Like, 5 foot 10 or 11? If you're a healthy weight for your height then I agree, you can go easy on yourself a little. Unlike shorties like me who, even when I get to my target weight of 150 will be technically still very much overweight...grrr!
That's right Betty, today is a new day and a new week, always look ahead! Is your power back now?
So, I'm teetering on the edge - 170 exactly this morning, still keeping up with the 0.7/0.8lb loss a week....wondering where I'll be this time next week...eeek!

Jenny, yes the power came back on last night around 8 pm. It went out before 9:30 in the morning. We had some stuff like cold cuts and peanut butter in the fridge, but I didn't want to open the door much so we didn't eat that stuff.
Jenny - if I can get to 150 I will be happy. Looking for 140 but the reality is that I have spent my entire adult life at 250 plus! 150 despite current BMI BS is a good number for me. Now to get there...
Okay, looks like I am officially here! Thank you for all of your very kind words and welcomes. Can't wait to get to know you guys and settle in here for the next decade, (of weight, not time, ha!).
Struggling to get out of the 170s for months now ... I am at 171.6 as of this morning. I hope to get out of this group into the 160s within a week or less ... hoping and praying.
Hi. Lurker here. I just want to say I was in the 180s for 5 months!!! And I am almost out of the 170s in less than 6 weeks. Isn't that weird? I remember reading this thread a few months ago, hoping to be able to post here. I'm sure once I get into the 160s it'll be killer, but it's so close I can almost feel it!
I happened to move a little over a month ago and I have been eating quite healthy foods from a local grocery store. I don't buy groceries, so haven't been able to binge at home. No fast food. I'm definitely not starving myself, just eating healthier, non processed types of foods. It's amazing what a little shock to the system will do for you!
Anyway I hope to be in the 160s thread soon. Which is crazy to me.
